He had to replace the dishwasher, so they went to a local retailer to buy a new one, which he installed quickly and efficiently. He easily corrected the problems with our ceiling fan and dishwasher, and adjusted a window balancer in the master bedroom. FA Reasonable LocksmithCall this guy on a Monday morning because I had lost the key fob to my car. James assured me that he could come make me a key and program it with no problem. He showed up six hours later and told me it would be about 20 minutes. 2 1/2 hours later with no luck said he had to do a "hard reset" which would take 15 mins. Two mins later changed his mind and said he would be back in the morning. That evening I had to replace my 2 month old battery because what every he was doing ruined it. The next morning I called and he said he had other jobs and couldn't come until 4 o'clock after promising he would come that morning. 4 o'clock comes and goes, I call to see if he's close nope he's 1 hour away and will be here 8 o'clock. I call 815 to see if he's close. Nope he is still a hour away and says he will be here in 90 mins. So unprofessional, doesn't know what he's doing. I lost 3 days of work because this jerk left me hanging. Why can't people just be honest. I would not recommend this guy to clean up **** never mind trust him with your car. I have someone else coming to make a key today and I pray he didn't mess my car up anymore than a battery that put me out 200 dollars. I just wish I could post this with zero stars- Tammy T.

AAffordable Lock And KeyNick returned my cell phone message within 30 minutes. I called on Friday and he was booked up until Sunday morning. He did not charge extra for work on Sunday. He is located in Myrtle Beach, SC and my Condo is across the state line near Calabash, so he told me up front there would be a $75 service charge (but the total cost for the lock repair, including new lock and keys was only $20 more!). He was very professional! He responded immediately to my texts regarding information about the Condo location and phone numbers. He called us upon completion of the job. (We live in Asheville, NC and rent out our Condo so had to do business by cell phone.) The repair was particularly important since we had renters in the Condo.- David J.

AMy Resort Lock 4000 failed with the handle breaking. Guest could not get out of the unit. James did not hesitate and went to the unit at 8:30 PM and rescued my guest. He was very aware of my upsetting situation and did everything he could to ease my pain! He installed a temporary lock until he could get a programmable lock the next morning. Promptly came back the next morning and installed new lock. The most incredible part is he only charged me for 2 hours. Very professional, caring locksmith.

AWONDERFUL. We purchased this house about a year ago and have had problems with the doors locking, staying shut and locked and concerned about security, using the keys that we had from the previous owners.
We were tried of handyman solutions and nothing working properly. So...I heard about a local Locksmith that had been in the business for years, had his own company, worked by himself and was a really good and experienced professional with doors and locks.
We called him and met with him that day. He looked at everything, answered all of our questions, told us what needed to be done to repair the problems and make sure the systems were finally fixed properly. He explained everything to us and was very knowledgeable about locks.
We set a day and time that week for him to come over and do the job. He arrived on time, worked for several hours, making sure everything was done correctly and did a great job. He was great, did a wonderful job, cleaned up everything and we were extremely satisfied with Chuck and his service.

Other businesses (I call scammers) have changed 1 letter, or added one letter to our name. I would give examples of their names but that only increases their Google search standings. FHorrible - this jerk was aware I had NO keys - showed up - said without a key - couldn't do anything but take off 5 $300 lock / handle / deadbolt sets and SELL me cheesy silver plated Kwikset replacements - this scam artist did NOTHING - demanded $95 Was the most rude, unprofessional thief I have ever met - BEWARE - do yourself a favor - HIRE a honest / reputable locksmith - NOT THIS ONE !!! Consider yourself warned - don't get burnt
