    Carolina Temperature Control
CTC installed a new Trane system in our house. Water broke through our ceiling causing a large hole. The Trane air handler was dripping condensation due to an improperly installed drip pan and the air handler was not level or supported properly. We called James Cabanaw , the owner of CTC almost daily for 3 weeks. Twice he said they would come to the house and never showed up. Our calls were repeatedly ignored and we even went to office twice and were still ignored. The damages to the ceiling were close to $5000.00. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with and his lack of response is extremely unprofessional. Even after we contacted the Better Business Bureau he never responded.

    AIR MECHANICAL INC
After 17 years of doing business with Air Mechanical, I consider them to be the best company along the Grand Strand. They installed two new HVAC systems for me in different homes. Their prices were very competitive. Theyve done service work on systems I bought, and also repaired old ones. Their technicians have always been professional, courteous, and neat. They show up on time as promised. Shaun Leary, their Sales Manager, and the owners are excellent at what they do. I like the fact that this is a family-owned business that should be around for many years to come.

    Carolina Temperature Control
BEWARE!!! Took my fully functioning RV to Carolina Temperature Control. Returned RV with damaged alternator and electronics. They refused to take responsibility for the damage that occurred while in their possession.. Very dismissive and insulting attitude throughout my dealings with this terrible company.

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
Everything was ok except the capacitor needed replacing due to numbers that could indicate a failure in the near future, which would have stopped the fan from working during a hot spell. This is South Carolina - we have lots of hot spells.

    Air Power
I found the Air Power website while searching for an alternative to the popular HVAC companies out there, and my ever-growing frustration with their services and prices. Mike Powers' sentiments really spoke to me. I was previously told by two other companies that my system needed to be replaced prematurely, and received quotes of $6,500 and $8,000. When the system finally needed replacement, Air Power completed the job swiftly and professionally for $4,150. Need I say more? I am a very satisfied customer, as I'm sure you will be!

    Carolina Cool Inc
We have a service contract with Carolina Cool for our condo. When we had a few warm days a few weeks ago, we turned on the air and it didn't cool. I called Carolina Cool first thing in the morning; by 10 a.m. the service tech was checking out our unit. Unfortunately, our 25 year old unit was not worth the cost to repair. We asked to have an estimate for a new unit from Carolina Cool. By 3:15 the same day, we had a very professional sales rep come and give us the estimate. Richard did a great job checking the unit inside and out measuring, checking the power, etc. We were very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism, that we placed the order. We were contacted all along the process with updates as to the status of the unit we needed. An appointment was set up for the date it was expected as well as a second appointment for the next day in case there was a delivery issue. The unit was installed on the original date at the time that was promised. The two services techs were also very professional and made sure we understood the unit operation before they left. We were contacted again after the installation to make sure we were satisfied or had any further questions. A couple people made a remark that Carolina Cool's prices were higher than some others. Our estimate was just about spot on of what we thought we would pay for a new unit! Even if we would have saved a few dollars, the service was excellent and that's worth a few extra dollars, if that's the case!

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
When Justin arrived he had been briefed on our problem and was fully prepared to resolve it. After inspecting the entire system he found that parts of the ductwork had become disconnected from one of the trunks, thus not delivering airflow to one room. He also noted that a new reurn duct was lying over another duct and the return was mostly collapsed. Justin spent a few hours repairing the ductwork. When he finished the system is operating to expectations. As the problem was within the new ductwork, and having an extensive guarrantee, there was no charge for the work done. We could not be happier with this and past work done by the technicians at One Hour and highly recommend them for heating and air conditioning needs.

    East Coast Air LLC
Great!! The response by the company and its technicians was fantastic. Called early on a Saturday morning and scheduled a time in the late afternoon. The company called back later in the morning and said they can have someone out sooner. They did come out check the unit found a bad motor. They ordered needed parts and on Monday scheduled the work to be performed on Monday.

    WACCAMAW HEATING & COOLING LLC
Words cannot describe how happy we are with our new Trane air conditioning/heating unit. We initially met with Davey Jones, who explained all of our options. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and a real delight to work with. We decided to replace all of our duct work and install a new Trane heating and cooling unit. Andy, Zane and Scott commenced work on this huge project and, from start to finish, worked diligently and professionally. In addition, I really appreciated the fact that they cleaned up every day before they left. Their supervisor, Brian, did a terrific job too. He installed state-of-the art, computerized thermostats and was very helpful in teaching us how to use them. After the job was completed, Brian came back and did a thorough inspection of the work done and tested all of the components. Now that the new system has been installed, the difference in air quality has improved 100%. I highly recommend Waccamaw Heating and Cooling -- you will not be disappointed.

    Air Power
Called Mike at 9:00 am and he was here at 10:00 am. He arrived promptly at appointment time to troubleshoot the unit to find out he needed a part to repair. Within 45 minutes he called back to let me know he couldn't get the part locally and would have to find it elsewhere. He contacted me later that afternoon to let me know the part was discontinued and would have to find an alternate solution to repair the unit. I then told him the unit had stopped working and he was back in 20 minutes to get it heating again, this was excellent since it was going to be 20 degrees that night. Mike told me he would be back in a couple of days to repair the unit. He was here on time as promised to rebuild the part since it had been discontinued and a replacement part would not work, also he had to add Freon. The price was very reasonable, the service and knowledge was excellent. Will definitely call Mike for future HVAC needs.
