    This company is the local representative of Budget Blinds.  Initially everything went quite well.  We were presented options from which we may choices.  About 3 weeks later all the blinds were installed.  Most were plantation blinds except in master bedroom. In there we had light blocking cellular shades installed.  These do an excellent job keeping light to a minimum.  However, one of the 3 blinds was marking up the side jambs when we raise and lower the shade.  It turns out that the bottom metal bar was missing plastic protectors in each end.  We called the company rep about this and he indicated that he would order the missing pieces.  That was 2 months ago.  Since then we have tried to contact them by phone and email, all of which have been ignored.

    They were completely unprofessional about this transaction. You should remind yourself that first impressions really do matter. Their shop is really junky and they do not have quality things on sale. The furniture I was selling was really first rate and would have sold right away, if they had purchased it like they promised they would. I was not as angry about the money or not selling the furniture as I was about the store backing out on the deal and failing to communicate with me. That is not the way you succeed in business. However, things happen for a reason - I sold the furniture yesterday for double what they were going to pay me, so I was not the loser, Whispering Pines was. So, if you are going to deal with this business, get the money in your hand when they first make the deal or you may not see it later.

    We ordered kitchen cabinets from Atlantic Kitchens, the order was entered incorrectly resulting in our cabinets being delayed, the cabinets were not delivered when promised which delayed installation, they forgot to order the doorknobs we needed and on top of that they damaged our walls and ceilings during installation which we now get to repair - would not use this company again

    I needed to buy a mattress and boxpring for a guest bedroom and decided to go back to Bedman, where I purchased a mattress set for my daughter in 2005.
    I went in the store and was greeted by Milan, one of the sales associates. I explained that I didn't want to spend a lot on the set, as it was for a guest bedroom, but I still wanted something comfortable and good quality. He asked my budget, and showed me sets from Eastman House, a local company from South Carolina. I tried out each of the beds and decided on the best plush model.
    The whole experience went very well. He explained the construction and differences between the mattresses. There was no pressure.
    Delivery was fast and efficient. They were very accomodating and flexible in delivery dates and times.

    Excellent. This was not my first time shopping at Bedman. I have purchased mattresses before which is why I went back this time. Salespeople are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, but never pushy. I feel that I always get the right products for my needs at a fair price. Delivery is quick and efficient.

    Contacted them about redoing the chairs and were quoted what we felt  was a fair price not including fabric. The chairs were picked up on time and the job was completed faster than we thought it would be. The quality of the work was excellent. We would definitely use them for any other upholstery work in the future.

    Terrible. I ordered a mattress from on 9-20-2012. I called several times to check on my purchase. I was told approximately three weeks after placing my order that my mattress was on the delivery truck waiting to be filled for deliveries. After several more days I called again and I was only able to get a voice machine. I have called almost daily leaving messages each time,but no one has returned my calls. Today when I called the answering machine was off and no one answered the phone. They also have an ebay store listed on their website and at least 10 different customers have posted there that they have also been victimized by since September.

    It went very well.  Fred came well recommended by a furniture store we deal with on occasion.  They said he was the best in the area and from the results of both the repair to the table and desk I would have to agree.  The table had a raised edge that had come loose when our Grandson knocked it over.  Fred stripped the edge and reattached the piece to the top tightened the glue joints and then touched up the areas that were damaged in the accident.  My wife's desk had a cat's claw mark on the edge as well as several nicks and dings at various locations.  Fred filled in the scratch and it is unnoticeable to anyone who wasn't aware of its location.  

    Great job it a pleasure to find someone who is a craftsman..

    I had a beautiful kitchen table with an oak top that had been stored in the attic.  The dry air ruined the finish and nearly cracked the surface.  Fred removed the tabe top and took it back to his shop.  Amazingly, he stripped it and finished it so that it looked not as good as new, but better than it was new.  For good measure, he inexpensively restored the base of an armoire my dog had chewed up and which I thought was hopeless.  "Artistic" is a good name for his company.  The man is amazing.Res
