  Ignacio and his team did a fantastic job! This was not an easy repair around the chimney on the sunroom and main roof. Parts of the decking needed replacing, the flashing and siding all needed to be replaced and fixed. Ignacio and his team are very knowledgeable and clearly know the technical details of roofing and siding here in the Low Country. And that made me very comfortable with the company. I will hire Southline again!

  After moving into our house, we had a laundry list of areas with wood rot that needed to be evaluated and repaired, including siding, window trim, soffit, fascia, and even a door/door frame. Eric came out within 24 hours of contacting him to take a look and provide a quote. Not even a week later, he and his team got all the work done in day. Eric was super responsive from the very first moment I reached out, and he, Justin, and the whole team just seem like all-around great guys that you want to be working with. They were even kind enough to go the extra mile and remove some really high-up ropes that the previous owners had left tied to a tree branch. Will definitely be reaching to them for future work!

  This is a wonderful company to work with. Ivan, the project manager, was extremely responsive and kept me updated on all steps of the project. They removed all the siding of my chimney and replaced it with Hardy Board. They also replaced two boards on my house which were not in the original plan. I had to be out of state during the work, so was concerned about having someone do the work while I was away. Ivan called daily and sent pictures of the job as it progressed. I would highly recommend them.

  Team showed up early and did the roof in one day and the rest on day 2. They use the best products made by Certainteed exclusively. James Powell , is a CertainTeed certified Master Shingle Applicator. Replaced shingles, replaced bad wood, installed new pipe/rain collars , new flashing, water and ice shield, new underlayment, new aluminum drip edge, new ridge vents with capping. Replaced curb mounted skylights with Velux fixed skylights. Replaced bad fascia, resided the fireplace chase with Hardie siding, put on new chase cover and repaired a bad piece of T1-11 siding. They cleaned the area, picked up all nails and debris, hauled it all way. The job looks awesome. Couldn't be happier with their workmanship which is warranted for 10 years! Thanks to James Powell, Brad, Bobby, Charles, Wade and the entire team ! This is the 4th roof on my house. Wish I could have had James do the other 3. My roof has never looked better! Highly recommend.

  Windows for Less

  Contractor never obtained a permit. Did not properly and up to code perform the work on TWO different occasions with two different teams. Contractor admitted to the BBB when I filed a complaint to blocking my cell number. He never answered or returned any calls but would respond, eventually, to text messages. It took 3-5 months and the windows are not properly sealed. Using this contractor is not worth "saving money" when compared to other quotes I received. Buyer beware!

  Pat came out to give me an estimate for a great deal of work that needed to be done on a house I had just bought. He has been on time every time he said he would be here, began a day early and took two fewer days to complete the job than he had originally estimated. His estimate was thorough, and every call I made to him was answered immediately.
  He came the evening the lumber and other supplies were delivered to check on everything and even dragged my garbage can over the stacks of lumber to take it to the curb for me. As he was neatly covering the lumber with waterproof sheathing, I left to go to the grocery store. When I came back, I found he had moved this huge pile of lumber and made a path around it so I could get my groceries into the house without stepping on the pile (I had asked the lumber delivery person to place the stack as far up on the driveway as he could to be sure we could still fit the dumpster, port-o-let and my car in the driveway, and he took me at my word).
  Pat included a dumpster and port-o-let in his estimate (which I appreciated) and made sure those were delivered on time right before the job. I have nothing but excellent things to say about his expertise in coordinating the job and his determination to make sure it was done right. He quoted and used whole boards of siding (most of the other 8 contractors that bid the job were going to cut and paste). Carlos (the head crew person) and Pat's other workers were incredibly professional, courteous, worked non-stop and did a wonderful job. They worked until after dark one night to be sure the house was protected by sheathing over the plywood before they left. They arrived promptly at 8 a.m. each day and left well after 5 every night. When the weekend came, they made sure the entire site was swept clean and all of the pots of flowers were put back where they had been originally. 
  On the last day, Pat came with his son to replace the shed door and was unbelievably courteous as I ticked off my list of questions and even asked for a few additional small items to be done (he took a very heavy roll of tar paper out of the eaves of my shed to throw it away. It had come with the house and I had always wanted it gone but had never been able to lift it). 
  I went into this project apprehensively after hearing horror stories about contractors and getting estimates from several that just did not seem honest. I had one drop out and never take my calls again after I asked to see his license and proof of insurance (even though he had said he WAS licensed and insured). I did do a lot of research and met a lot of contractors before making a decision, but even so I was nervous.
  I know now that when I have other projects to do on this house in years to come, Edge Water will be my first call.

  Scoped the job, pre-sprayed soffits and trim with chlorox solution, pre-soaped entire house, pressure washed entire house with soap, pressure rinsed entire house. Henry was careful to cover all the exterior, especially the higher gables. He was also meticulous in rinsing the windows and trim and especially the bottom trim. He was careful not to damage any bushes. He spent a good two hours doing the job on my 1,700 sq ft home.
