Pest Control reviews in Mount Pleasant

    Williams Wildlife Removal
I needed work to identify and remove rodents that had penetrated my roof line and were in the attic and space beneath the roof line. They were prompt with a callback and very professional. The estimate I got was detailed and again, very professionally presented. I see they have great reviews and I am confident that the work they do is top notch. If you have 3 thousand dollars you wont miss and you want to make your house into a nuclear bunker against animals, this may be a great choice. The problem is the cost and overkill involved. It doesnt need to be $2700 to reasonably secure a 1700 square foot house against pests. The estimate included every conceivable corrective and preventative action, at premium cost. After getting this outrageous bid I swallowed the excessive and unnecessary $95 trip charge and shopped around. I found Darian Hansen (Hansens Wildlife Removal) who had defected from one of these large enterprises to do his own work. He charged no trip fee and provided an estimate for $635. For the truly necessary work, he charged less than half of what Williams charges for the same work. $15 for repairing siding corners vs. $35; $25 for eve gaps vs. $83; $40 for gable vents vs. $93; $50 less for the trapping fee. And his estimate did not include $1000 for ridge guard which was utter overkill. Again, Im sure that Williams would have done a stellar and more than thorough job. But what Williams seems to me, in my humble opinion, is a business that oversells what needs to be done and overcharges for what they do. There was no pragmatic approach to the job, it was all or none. It was like going to the dentist for a cavity and the course of action being an entire set of new teeth. They might be amazing new teeth, but at 6 times the cost and without necessity. I guess its working for them financially. People with animals in their house are in panic mode and are highly motivated for a comprehensive solution. If you have money to burn, go for it. But I got everything I needed from Hansens at less than one quarter of the cost.

They came out quickly and quoted a price. Showed up when they said they would. Project took less than a day. I am very satisfied with the work. I would recommend to anyone looking for termite service.

    Coastal Termite & Pest Control
We purchased a termite bond on our home 7 years ago. Coastal comes out every 3 months to monitor bait stations. We recently hired a contractor to replace our patio door, and he found extensive termite damage, as well as live termites. We called Coastal, and Casey came out to inspect. He said that the termite damage was not covered by our termite bond, claiming that the termites were a swarm. He said that they were there due to moisture from our porch light. However, there is no moisture at the location of the porch light. I brought out another termite company for a second opinion. This company found termite tubes under the home, from the ground to the deck, indicating that subterranean termites were the culprit. They found no moisture at the location of the porch light, and no indication that the termites were swarmers. Coastal still does not want to cover any of the damage. It appears that Coastal's termite bond is worthless.

David & Leigh Anne were very nice. I didn't expect the estimate of the cost but that was not the main issue. They never trapped the squirrel. They did a very poor job of fixing the opening to the attic. I had to hire another person to come and fix the opening. Leigh Anne came back when I called to complain and she put traps on the ground by the palm tree and made further recommendations to the trees. Why would I get charge for trapping a squirrel that they never trapped or pay to fix the opening which wasn't done right? I only did partial recommendations since the cost was so high

    ARMS Pest Management
They did fine.  Even before they showed up for the first service they were trying to sell me other services.  I can't tell about quality.  It was fine, it was just annoying they were trying to sell me other services before they had even done any work before I had any experience with them.

Amazing! I called a few different places to get quotes and left them a voicemail, they called me back very quickly and got someone out here a couple days later (I called on a Friday afternoon they had someone here on Tuesday). They were extremely friendly and professional. I had a scheduled appointment for 4:30pm and they called me around 9:30 am to let me know they had another opening around 11:30 and asked if I would prefer them to come earlier to keep the 4:30 apt. I decided to have them come earlier and they arrived right on time. They were extremely professional and informative and gave me a few suggestions on how to keep the pests out etc. They also did a thorough walk through looking in closets, cabinets, etc. and determined there was not infestation but normal pests and sprayed the inside and outside of my place -- the whole process took about 30 minutes. Would highly suggest them and will use them again!

East Cooper Termite & Pest Solutions
The crew were efficient and professional. Vince came out today to perform the first annual inspection. He called me to give me a complete report. The only problem he noted is that the critter exclusion screening installed by another company needs some minor repair. Vince did some of the repairs while he was under the house and offered to complete the repairs for free if the company that installed the screening does not respond adequately. That is excellent customer service and I appreciate it.

East Cooper Pest is awesome! I called Chris about a rodent problem I was having. He came out the very same day and checked my entire basement looking for openings. He was very thorough and very straight forward with answers to my questions. He found the one major area (and evidence of point of entry) that had not been sealed and sealed it and other small openings on the spot! He went above and beyond what I was expecting. Thank you Chris!!!

    The Wildlife Guys
Initially, they seemed responsive and on top of things. But then there were delays and poor communication. Eventually all communication stopped. I sent emails and called - they would respond to some of those individual requests for information but it was always me chasing them. They would say they would come by on one day and then I would see no evidence of any work being done. I had no updates. I would not know if any animals had been detected or trapped unless I called and asked. They have had traps up for weeks and I don't know that anyone checks them. No bait. I have no idea if I still have animals in the walls or not. I don't know if THEY know! I don't know how you can run a business of this kind and keep your customer completely in the dark about your work and progress. This has been the most egregious waste of money since I've been a homeowner.

    Arrow Termite & Pest Control
It was fair. They didn't come for a follow-up treatment like they said they would. They billed me for extra things and they said there were no extra costs. I was not very satisfied. We still have roaches. They were supposed to come to do the outdoor treatments three times a year and they haven't done that. They billed me to do something on my yard which they didn't tell me there was an additional cost. I think they were on time.
