    Tidewater Neurology
I may be being too kind in giving "D" for communication and Effectiveness of treatment. Waiting room is very small for the number of patients they schedule - I stood for quite a while as there was no seat available.

    Carolina Eyecare Physicians
It went extremely well. The B's are because I saw prices ranging from $2700 to $5500 and Dr. Solomon came down in the middle. As for punctuality, my appointment was at 0930 and I didn't make it past the waiting room until past 10. I wasn't surprised at the wait really, I think there were about 4-6 others there waiting on surgery at the same time. Dr. Hood noted a small scratch on my left eye, so there was some concern that they may have to switch and do PRK on that side. Dr. Solomon came into the exam room to explain the procedure and advise how the situation would dictate the procedure. He wanted to try full LASIK first and if the machine didn't like the left eye due to the scratch, it would notify the Dr and he would make the decision on how to proceed. I was fine with his explanation and had no reservations, but his explanation and patient interaction is what really sold my wife that I'd chosen the right Dr. The procedure overall was extremely fast. Each eye was under each laser for at most 8 seconds, I recall the assistants counting down and usually it was about 4 seconds when I heard them. I think it took them longer to get my preferred Pandora station up than it did to do the procedure, much less to hear a whole song. The whole experience was great. I was warned by all staff and friends/others who had LASIK/PRK before about the possibility of light sensitivity and Halo's. I was again lucky on that front and did not experience either of those concerns. Immediately after the surgery, i was escorted to a recliner to await my ride home and during that time my eyes were flowing like a faucet and felt like they do after opening your eyes in a chlorinated pool. My level of pain never got above that. Upon my return home (total of about 60-90 minutes after surgery), I took 2 benadryl and went to sleep as instructed. When I woke up 6 hours later, I had no pain. After that was a long regimen of eye drops that I can thankfully say I'm nearing the end of. Overall, the process was exceptional, the entire staff at Carolina Eye Care (Clarity Road location) were Phenomenal. As I told the tech, the most painful part was when Dr. Solomon pulled the tape off that was holding my eye lashes back. (Think pulling off a bandaid.

I was in pain and referred to Dr Jason Cohen by my dentist for a root canal. My appointment was set for a Monday. However, I woke up in severe pain on Saturday morning with a tooth ache. I knew I couldn't wait until Monday! What Dr works on Saturdays??!!! Dr Cohen and his staff were able to accommodate me immediately. Dr Cohen was super friendly and professional. His staff was very welcoming and made having a root canal a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I strongly encourage anyone in pain~and needing a root canal~to call Dr Cohen and his team!!

Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital
The staff was really kind. Great bedside manner. They made me less nervous. Very comfortable environment considering the circumstances one is in there for. I had a billing question and the representative from that department was nice and responded immediately and I received my requested document in the mail that week.

    Ohlson, Dr. Blake L.
Post surgery Dr. Ohlson thoroughly explained my foot's healing process and what to expect. My recovery is ahead of the curve and I have no doubt it's because of his care and me following his instructions. He has an answer for all my questions. From my first appointment, to surgery, to after- I have felt very looked after and I know Dr. Ohlson cares about my recovery. He takes the time to listen and answer my questions and explains things thoroughly. I've had no complications and I attribute most of that to his excellent practice and the personal investment he makes in his patients.

    Hauser, Dr. Mark J
I have seen Dr. Hauser on several occasions. As always, he is wonderful and very low key. He is the most professional endodontist I have ever seen. Several years ago i had a root canal done in his office. No pain, no problems. I saw him again for a tooth a few days ago that i have been having problems with for some time. the office got me in right away when it started to act up and i was in a lot of pain. Unfortunately, while the tooth cant be saved, Dr hauser gave me several suggestions and helped me with several contacts for the next step in my care. This doctor is excellent and he is very reasonable in his prices. he doesnt indiscriminately do work. he does whats needed and whats correct. I guarantee you that you wont be disappointed.

The doctor was great. He explained everything step by step and tried not to hurt me. (it is not a comfortable test). i knew the diagnosis before i left. I am very satisfied with the doctor. However, the office was very crowded and i waited quite a while..

They are very friendly, professional, and efficient. The service is great and the staff are helpful and concerned about their patients. They're very good at getting people in for appointments, even if it's scheduled last minute.

She is 2.5 years old, and had a blast. I have been going here for a couple years. All the machines, and staff are nice. I would give them a B rating for cleanliness though. My recommendation would be for someone to walk around, and clean the machines regularly. I found a special deal and was able to pay $9.99 a month.

    Elite Health Solutions
I had been dealing with this for about six years. The pain would flare up after long periods of standing, bending over incorrectly or during vigorous exercise. The pain was so intense that it even made moving my leg from the gas pedal to the brake while driving nearly unbearable. I always thought back-related sciatic nerve was the underlying issue, but Dr. Kukos immediately -- and I learned later correctly -- determined that my pain wasn't at all back related but related to microscopic scaring in my leg that had formed after a previous injury. Through a series of targeted stretches and deep massages, the scarring started to break apart. After about a dozen brief visits spread out over six weeks, my pain slowly but surely started to go away. I've been pain free now about three weeks, and I have to say the feeling is amazing. I thought I was going to have to live with that leg pain the rest of my life, but Dr. Kukes changed that. Dr. Kukes (pronounced koo-kess) is a super friendly family man with an easy going demeanor who made me feel like it was a personal challenge for him to get to the cause of my pain and fix it. His rates are economical, and he never tried to push me into trying more expensive techniques. I found Elite Health Solutions by reading glowing reviews here and on Google. Believe them. Dr. Kukes is a miracle man in my book. I'm so glad he's right here in Mt. Pleasant. I know where I'm going if I have back or muscle issues again.
