AEverseal CharlestonI would highly Matthew and his Everseal Charleston company for your crawlspace solutions. Our hardwood floor had buckled in a few places. Matthew inspected the crawl space and noted the high humidity (measured in the 60's) which was the cause of the floor buckling. He scoped the job and provided a firm estimate within just a few minutes. The price and scope of work were detailed and easy to understand. From the start to the completion of the project Matthew communicated the start date and estimated completion date. He provided updates throughout the time he worked on the project. His work was through and he kept his job-site clean. Our project included removal of the insulation and vapor barrier, application of the Everseal product and installation of a dehumidifier. All work was completed on-time and on budget. Within 30 days of the completion of the job the buckling of the floors has been corrected. The readings from the thermostat have a consistent temperature and the humidity is now in the low 30's.- Andrew W.

FBilly seems to be a friendly guy but his services were very disappointing. I had to redo part of the work he did and also go around cleaning up after the guy he brought to paint trim. Billy didn't show up on time a single day he actually showed up. Several times he just didn't show up or call or return messages for days. I'm an understanding person, but when you're hired to do a job you need to communicate when something comes up or when plans change. I finally just did the rest of the work myself because of our deadline, which I was up front about. Additionally, he did not consistently comply with masking requirements, which we were also up front about because we have immunocomprimised people in our household. I'm out the nearly $2k that I paid him. I would not hire Byrd Services again.

AHad lost the remote to our ceiling fan, needed it rewired to the second switch so we could use the fan again. He was on time and had a folding scaffolding to work safely. Most impressive, however, was how he neatly laid out the parts of the fan as he disassembled them to get to the wiring. That level of extra care is hard to find. He will be my go-to for future needs.
