    I called AVIV at 8am on a Monday morning and the technician, Joe was there before lunch. Thank goodness because the refrigerator was making so much noise, we could barely stand it. Next time we need appliance service our first call will be to AVIV.

    Ended up not using them after scheduling because when it came time to set final appointment, they stated they had to have a 10 hour window to arrive. Having to sit all day waiting on a repair was not acceptable. Even when I asked to set a 4 hour window, they could not comply.

    Couldn't have gone better!!! They came out promptly, repaired the oven quickly, and the technician was knowledgeable, kind and worked quickly. The trip, and repair job with labor was only a little more than other companies charge just to come out! I can highly recommend Premier, and would use them again!!!!

    Repairman came out. I made the mistake of telling him right away that we shopped the prior weekend and a man at Lowes suggested it was the freezer seal. He immediately opened the freezer door and said that it was the seal. He said the ticking noise we were hearing was our ice maker and it needed to be replaced also. It was full of ice so I told him that we were not replacing the ice maker until it totally broke down. He showed me how to replace the seal so I told him that we would buy one and replace it. He was going to charge $80.00 per hour to do it in addition to the cost of the seal (156.00 with tax at Tribbles) . He charged me $90.00 for the service call and left. He was very friendly, we talked all about his family, but HE DID NOT test the fridge. His receipt states that he tested the unit and found a bad seal and ice maker. He stated that we chose not to do the repairs with him at this time. We went to Tribbles that afternoon and bought the seal that took my husband all of 10 minutes to take the old one off and replace it with the new one. The next morning the ice was worse. I called Able and asked for him to return since it was obvious that it was not the seal causing the ice to build up. They could not return for five days. During this time the milk in my fridge spoiled. We knew then that we were dealing with a serious problem We went out on Friday and bought a new fridge. I called Able and cancelled the return repair visit. I asked for my service call of $90.00 to be returned since the repairman never tested the unit and blamed the problem on a seal. I explained to her that I was also out the $156.00 for the seal that we bought. She refused and said that everything was my fault since I did not let them replace the seal. She said that he went with the obvious repair (the seal) and the he didn't need to test anything! After doing research, I discovered that the issue was probably a faulty defrost switch. The only reason we bought a new fridge was the fact that it was 7 years old and we needed something to keep our food cold right away. That was on Friday and they were not even coming back to my house until Monday afternoon.
