    Reformed Exteriors
I requested a bid from Reformed Exteriors because of the A rating on Angie's List. A man from the company came out and estimated the bid. My wife had talked to him and asked for two separate bids, one for the dormers as an immediate fix and another bid for the whole house. When I received a bid, it was confusing but seemed to be for the whole house and no separate bid to fix the dormers. The price of the bid was $6,400.00. I called and talked to the owner. He pulled up the bid and said it was confusing to him. He could not tell what the bid was for. He said the bid was too cheap for the house but too much for two dormers. He said he would call his son who had estimated the bid and have him call me back. I requested that he talk to his son and call me back since our experience with the son was not a good one. His response was, "Well, I can't be involved in all our jobs!" He then said again he would have his son call me. I told him to not bother. Not a good way to do business. I will take mine elsewhere.

Door was to be finished prior to Thanksgiving for ~$450. By the time I had them come out 4 or 5 times, and with lots of rain in between, door was finished in January. Lots of runs and splatters during the work. Never came out to look at completed job. Just waited for me to call and complain. That was bad enough, BUT... I asked them to paint my upstairs hallway and down a short stairwell while they were at it. There was a gross miscommunication on price (Said $1000 for door and add on hallway/foyer). Assume for a minute he communicated correctly. They charged $1000 to paint a hallway and stairwell!!! I patched all the holes, there was no sanding, they only needed two coats, nothing to move out of the way and they didn't even trim. Are you serious? A month after they were gone for good my handrail on the stairs came off in my hand because they left out about 4 screws when they put it back up. They initially quoted me $1000 for both the door and the hallway/foyer. Sounds reasonable I guess, but I kept having to bring them back out.I'm trying to keep this as short as possible, and to the facts. The price was exorbitant, the quality was sub-par at best, the timeliness was awful, and the professionalism was non-existent. I kept having to bring them back to fix the door, and they never once apologized or seemed embarrassed by the poor workmanship. I payed a "professional" because I wanted a really good job done on this expensive, brand new door. My 11 year old and I could have probably have done the same quality of work for a tiny fraction of the cost. But to then gouge me on price and then try to feign offense when I question the price and quality? Whereas you kept on taking jobs, this was the only paint job I had to worry about during 3 MONTHS this small job took. Who do you think remembers what was agreed upon better? Moral of the story is that the good 'ol days are gone, and people can't be trusted to be honest and take pride in their work. Always get a quote on paper before hand. I knew that, but thought this guy seemed old school. I guess I was wrong, and I won't make the same mistake again.

    Quality Services
We signed a service contractor agreement on 25 April 2017 with Owner of Quality Services of Simpsonville to construct a 4 rail farm fence on our property for the amount of $1931. At signing, the owner of company collected $965.50 as a deposit (50% due now, 50% at project completion) and both parties signed the written agreement. We were looking forward to having this project completed within the 14 day window which was agreed upon in the written contract. Project completion was expected by May 14, 2017. We received a phone call on May 4, 2017 informing us the project was delayed due to the weather impacting previous job sites and delayed our project until May 6th, which was also acceptable as the contract allows 7 rain days. On May 10th, we received a phone call stating the project would be delayed until May 19th. Verbal approval was given by us to the company to reschedule even though it was out of the written contract period. Then again the project was rescheduled, this time for May 26th. Then on May 26th at 2:42am we received an email from the company informing us of an injury to the Owner on a different job site which the doctor placed him out of work for at least 2.5 weeks. On June 1st, 2017, I emailed the Owner asking for a refund since the project had not been started or materials ordered as of that date. The owner has yet to respond to the email. On June 2, 2017, I tried to reach company by phone and left a voicemail. The company has yet to respond to either the phone or email.

A+ Pressure Washing & Home Repairs
Called for a home pressure wash and deck wash quote, told him my location and I misheard him when he said he was 55 minutes from my house and I thought he said 55 miles, which is incorrect and asked for clarification, he promptly yelled at me that 'I DID NOT SAY 55 MILES BUT 55 MINUTES!"  I politely said Thank you and hung up- and thought wow- he's having a lousy day or something, but either way not a good way to start off a new customer relationship with an explosive remark which made me uneasy.

Dog Guard Out of Sight Fencing
Chuck Dubois did an excellent job with the installation of our invisible fence. His instructions and modeling on teaching our dog to respect the boundaries of his area was outstanding. The fence works well and our dog stays within his boundaries. Chuck also provided dog training sessions to help us with obedience for our dog. The training was clear and thorough. As a result, our dog is a better listener, and able to do many tricks. Before I met Chuck, I had called several trainers to help us with our large dog, specifically for our farm life and setting. No other trainers were willing to help us. Chuck didn't hesitate to provide training at our farm which was personalized to our dog and us. I'm as pleased with the training as I am with the invisible fence. We got our dog from a kill shelter, and thanks to Chuck he is now thriving on our farm and in the home! The fence and training were a great invested resulting in a great dog!

Railing became rusted due to incomplete weldings and provider would not come to repair even after numerous attempts.  The owner Dan Jeeter had very poor ethics in his business practices and I would not recommend him to anyone.

    Kunak Enterprises LLC
They painted the ceiling and walls just before Christmas, and finished painting the trim on the inside and the outside siding and trim around the middle of January. They had to adjust to the holidays, extremely cold weather and rain, and the construction crew so they were here maybe seven days while they were painting to work around these conditions. Every day when they left all paint and equipment was cleaned and stored and the site was left clean. David is very particular about how the work is done, and the paintwork is beautiful. They were also very diligent about nail holes, caulking and providing extra trim to finish and seal the join between the new room and the house. The day after the outside was finished they even washed the windows and cleaned off the new patio alongside the room! David and his crew were courteous and professional, the work is outstanding and the whole experience was great. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

    Bradley Construction LLC
They took care of everything. They did the electrical work, the siding, they also re-roofed the house because they were working here and we had a hail storm and since they were already doing other work here, they went ahead and had them replace the roof. They did a wonderful job. We were very pleased with them, and we'll use them again. I think they were a little more expensive than some people but they were worth it.

Tonya from Cole's came out and gave me a competitive estimate.  They were scheduled to come in approximately 2 weeks to perform the job.  1 week later I received a call from Cole to say that they would be able to do the job early if I that was acceptable.  They arrived around lunch time, went right to work, and completed the job by 6PM.  The fence and gates are attractive and neatly installed.  I would definitely use this company again.
