    Lowcountry OB/GYN
All of the doctors are great! I saw Dr. Gregory on this particular day because Dr. Wilson was not in. I had to bring my 3 yr old with me because I didn't have a babysitter. Dr. Gregory was so great and let him help her find the baby's heartbeat and measure me so he got to be a part of the process which he loved:-)

When we finally got to see someone it was not the doctor. It was his assistant. Not a problem but we had an appointment at 0815 and it was 0900. Also, this was a rescheduled appointment due to the previous one we had to walk out on due to being a hour behind again. Office opens at 0800 and appointment was 0815. Said something to staff at 0830 and received a less than helpful excuse. Inconveniencing people for time has happened each time we go here and it is getting worse. Like the doctor but hate the wait and staff

    Hope Clinic
Everything went fine. I will be seeing him again this coming October 15. I will recommend Hope Clinic to those people who really need medication. The people are nice. The doctor, I really dont care for him honestly. He does not have a good bedside manner and you can barely understand him. He is not really friendly. There are three doctors there but he is the only doctor there who can authorize medication. The other doctors are great, its just him I really dont care for. He is not that friendly to people.

I cannot judge the whole clinic because of that one doctor. Dr. Evans, she is a black lady and she is so nice. Then theres another one, a white lady and she is really nice too. But he is (I cannot pronounce his name) is just not nice. I only see him if I need a medication and a lot of times I see the Dr. Evans. If I cannot see him in a particular day, what they do is they have me call them two days in advance and he signs and have my medication ready for me and then they give to me after the appointment. They definitely do good on that.

    Back, Dr. Jerry
He was very competent, punctual, knowledgeable, and personable. The staff was the same. The office environment is very friendly, very polite and the staff is knowledgeable. It was a most pleasing visit because I was concerned moving from one area of the country to another area.

    Funcik, Dr. Thomas
He is top of the line. He does high end plastic surgery. He is probably a little expensive but he is extremely good. He treats patients one on one. The staff is really competent. They are extremely professional. I highly recommend him.

    Harth Place Family Medicine
The receptionist was rather unfriendly and condescending. I had several forms to fill out when I arrived at the office. One of the forms was a release to obtain my medical records from previous providers. I filled out the forms to the best of my ability then handed them back to the receptionist. She looked at the release I had filled out, grabbed a bottle of white-ou, covered what I had written, and told me I had to change the date I had written on the form. I was under the impression that the question was asking for what time period I was authorizing records to be released (the year I started treatment to when I ended treatment). Apparently I was mistaken. I was supposed to have put the date I was filling out the form and should have left the second space blank. So as I stood at the reception desk re-reading the question, she told me three times to write that day's date in one of the spaces (in a slow, precise manner, as if she thought I was a complete idiot, and quot;one...dash... twenty eight...dash... thirteenand quot;). She didn't understand how I had interpreted the question. I said to her that I was very well aware of what that day's date was and that it wasn't necessary to keep repeating it. Good grief!
When I was called in by the nurse to take my vitals, I was horrified that the area they take height, weight, blood pressure and go over medications is just on the other side of the door to the waiting room and wide open to anyone meandering the nurse's station and exam rooms (patients, doctors, staff). Then, I was told I needed to provide them with a urine sample . . . a requirement of all new patients. I have no idea what the urine sample was for as it was not explained. I do not know how it will be billed to my insurance provider. The whole purpose of my appointment was to get records transferred to a new primary and talk about continuation of care.
I was then placed in an exam room and waited to meet the doctor. I ended up going over my medications with her again as the nurse did not write down the dosage or frequency of dosages correctly. Before we talked about my medical history or my family history, the doctor jumped into giving me a lecture about being overweight. This lecture was also very condescending. I am a college-educated woman. I know that I need more exercise and to eat less. I may be fat, but I'm not stupid. I understand it is her job to educate patients about good health, nutrition and to encourage exercise. However, I wasn't even given the opportunity to talk to her about my severe depression, anxiety and narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleepiness) that all contribute to my inactivity. I came to this doctor's office to find a physician who would be compassionate and encouraging. Instead, I left feeling like I wanted to drive my car into a tree. For anyone who is overweight, it's never fun or easy to be told what you already know about yourself. It took me a lot of courage to pick up the phone to make an appointment to see this doctor. I had excellent doctors where I moved from. Re-establishing with new physicians and providers is a daunting task. I think I will look elsewhere for primary care. After this appointment, I will always remember my first impression and I will never forget how the staff and doctor made me feel. It has been 3 days since my appointment and I am still very upset by the whole experience. If I were extremely ill, I would hesitate to return here for care.
I had trusted in the ratings and reviews here on Angie's List and was disappointed I did not have a similar encounter at Dr. Mary Little's office.

    Jeffrey Santi MD
He is so good. He sits down with me and he doesn't rush through the visit. He goes through all the medication with me and he actually converses with you instead of just rushing in and rushing out. He is extremely thorough with making sure about areas which you don't think about, he thinks about. He is just very thorough and very good. He has excellent communication skills. They take you right in when you have an appointment.

I left my other doctor because this new doctor came in trying to take me off my medication that I've been on for 15 years. I switched to this doctor becaue of an insurance change. He does not have a very good bedside manner, however he gives me the medication that I need.

    Gaddy, Dr. Joe
I didn't like the fact that when I questioned him about side effects about a medication, he told me that there aren't side affects.  I know for a fact that there are side effects.  I don't like that he was dishonest about it.  I know that there are 6 side effects of this medication and I was showing 4 of those 6.  I will not be going back to him.
