    Hardy Services Group LLC
Went well except for the time it took to find the valves. They had to use a machine wand to find them and was expensive. Total time here was approx 3 1/2 hhs - $600 Second property needed new clock and finding the valves took about 6 total hours- Nine zones had to run another wire and replace four heads $-1545.00

It could not have gone better ..Mr Brown was fast ,professional -and responsive to our needs . He was more than knowledgeable in his area of work . It was really refreshing to work with people that took great pride in both their word and workmanship Ty Brown made the entire process simple and easy. I would highly recommend Browns Hardwood Flooring and will certainly continue to use Mr Browns services in the future . An amazing job ..just beautiful results !

    Harbor Flooring LLC
I called Harbor Flooring and made an appointment to have Drew come and measure for a bedroom we needed to recarpet. Unfortunately, time was of the essence and I managed to find another company to come out before he was able to. I admit that I forgot my appointment with Drew and he showed up at my house on the scheduled day and time. I apologized profusely for wasting his time and he could not have been more gracious and professional. I wish we could have used his company; I would recommend him just based on his attitude and demeanor.

    Howard Water System
Friendly, apparently competent. Work on pump completed as well as 2 pvc check valves replaced. Pressure switch continues to malfunction, especially when showering. Preston. Told me me no less than 5 times he would make good on his failed repair. He never showed. He admitted that there was no money in fixing his failed repair. Preston, in my opinion, has little integrity. If he does not get the job right the first time, do not count on him to get it right, ever.

    Precision Garage Door Service
They were very good the first time I used them.  I recently tried to use them and they said I wasn't in their territory. I put in my zip code and it said I was in their area, but they didn't want to serve me. So I don't know. The first time the owner came out.  He's a really nice guy. I would like to have them again but I guess they changed their policy. The first time he did a thorough job.  I even asked him to program my car because it had an electronic garage door opener and I didn't know how to do it.  It took him about 10 minutes.  It was good service.

    Precision Garage Door Service
It went okay. I think the ad was kind of deceiving because the ad was for a tuneup and a key door pad but when the gentleman got here he said, you have to already have a key door pad. So the ad didn't say that. I purchased the Deal on that day and they came out maybe a week or two later. It was a different price. It was over $500. They wanted another $300 to install a new key pad. I think the work was done good.

    Tweedy's Heating and Air LLC
I was having issues with my outside unit short cycling when it initially came on.  It heated and cooled correctly, but I knew the short cycling was not correct.  I live in McClellanville so I decided to try Tweedy's (hoping to get quicker service with them being local.)  I contacted them at lunch time on Sunday via their online form.  Within two hours I had an email response stating they could come out on Monday.  When they arrived Monday the heating unit functioned properly and did not short cycle (my luck, can't duplicate the problem) but they checked everything out and fixed a few minor issues.  I was charged $80 for the service call.  I understand if you can't see/find the problem you can't fix the problem.  I also knew and expected to pay a flat service fee for them coming out.  I thought $80 was very reasonable (I actually expected to pay over $100.)  Due to the promptness of their response to my service request, the speed in which they came out and what seems to be fair pricing, I will definitely use them again in the future.  I hope my heating and air never fails, but if it does and I have actual repairs done I will update my review.

    Knights Septic Tank
I contacted Knight's Septic Service on a Friday morning and spoke with Michael about a new drain field. He told me they were about a week and a half out on work, which I replied was fine. He had someone out the next day, Saturday, to inspect the site. A week and a half later they came out and performed the work. They arrived earlier than expected and were finished in about two hours. They had top of the line equipment and went out of their way to minimize the damage to my property. I gave pricing a "B", because of the cost to pump the tank ($200-$350 depending on how recently it's been pumped.) Depending on where you live in the tri-county area, you can find pump trucks cheaper. The cost of the drain field itself was $1400. I found this to be very reasonable. I priced doing the work myself and asked around about some local contractors, after that I felt Knight's price was a good deal, especially when you account for the expertise and professionalism they bring to the table. I hope to not have anymore septic issues for a very long time, but if I do, I'll definitely call Knight's.

    Southern Appliance Service Co
We were out of town when our extra freezer died. We lost everything in it. We are about 30 miles from anywhere that has appliance repair and most of them wanted to charge just to come to our village. We called Southern appliance because it had good reviews on Angie's List and did not charge a fee just for travel. We were told that they had another customer in the village and were waiting for a part to repair their appliance, and would we be willing to wait until that part came in and they would then be back in our village. It was clear that had we not wanted to wait, they would come right away. But, given that we had already lost the contents of the freezer, we were willing to wait.

They came, quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered the replacement part we needed. They returned in a week and took care of the problem. They also recommended a way to avoid it in the future (adding a surge protector to our freezer--our village has frequent power outages, then surges when it comes back on).

    Good company, good people.

    Gordon C. Johnson
High quality, craftsman grade construction.  You can tell a craftsman by how he cares for his tools.  Gordon's tools are immaculate.  His approach to building is one of an artisan.  The final product has to to be superficially good looking it also must be beautiful in it's sturdy and durable construction.
