    MAULDIN PAINT & BODY INC
Low-stress, all-inclusive pricing. Mauldin Painting did a fantastic job tackling this project, and were a joy to work with throughout the project. Carlos even came back out to do touch-up and repaint an entire wall after other contractors scuffed it! I would definitely recommend Mauldin Painting.

Outstanding! Very affordable, punctual each day, worked steady and hard to complete the job in a timely fashion. Constant inspection of the work performed on each area during and after was a high priority! It was especially nice that maintaining a clean work environment and cleaning up each day before leaving was of the upmost importance. Very professional with an outstanding work ethic! I would highly recommend using this painting service! We have other home improvement projects down the road, as we remodel each room and I will not use any other painting service!

Tried to schedule a fence repair and had no show about 3 times. Every time I called back after a no show I would get a "reschedule". Of course that date would arrive and he would never show up. If he has something come up he should at least contact me about it. I get the feeling there is zero bookkeeping in terms of scheduling with this guy. It might also be that my job is "too small" to be bothered with. I was going to get some quotes on some bigger jobs to possibly do, but after getting the runaround for 3 weeks straight I'm taking my business elsewhere.

    Bradley Construction LLC
Went very well. For comparison's sake, exterior door, storm door, paint, and light fixtures were provided by owner, and we took on the painting of the door/sidelights. Isaac was our main contact. Isaac was great.

Polite, and considerate to myself, and my family
    Cleaned up after himself
Creative when he needed to improvise to solve an issue
Trustworthy to work inside/ outside of house without supervision
Entire job took about 5 days (on/off). We are very pleased, and would not hesitate to hire Terry, and his guys again

FANTASTIC!!!!!!  Phillip and his two workers are fantastic workers.  Neat work, stayed with the job until
finished.  Just can't say how much we appreciated the work they had done.  The steps look like new.
The foundation vents working and looking great and hopefully, with the new vent no more fogged up
twin windows!  In the construction of this home there was a stone flower planter put under these windows. Planter had long been gone but just getting in the much needed new opening and vent to
keep the windows from fogging up.  JOY!  JOY!!!  The new PVC door to the crawl space was built
by one of Phillips workers--looks great!
The garage/crack problem was an add-on while they were here.  Cleaned out the old mortar and
replaced with new.  This was a new problem that had recently showed up.  In looking it over there
were many blocks with missing mortar.  Phillip went to work right then to correct the issue.
Have some mighty strange "decoration" on our garage now but a safe and dry one.
Couldn't be happier with the work done and dealing with Phillip and his co-workers.  Great
experience all around and would highly recommend him to anyone.

    Budget Pressure Washing
I did not use the provider because I wound up using a company that also did interior painting and drywall repair, which is a service I need with a different home improvement project.  I used the other company because they also responded promptly in a professional manner.  I used them because if I was satisfied I would consider using them for the other household project.
Please consider using these folks. I was impressed with them.

    Quality Control Painting LLC
I contacted Mike Edwards and two other companies by leaving a messages on Angie's List. He called me the following morning and came out at my earliest convenience to walk around my house. Our house is a challenge because the yard slopes down steeply in the back, making the eaves at the side and top gutter at the rear of the house equivalent to a 3 story house. The back of the house is also faces north, and it was pretty dirty.
We had stained our deck three times over the last 10 years and had already decided we were going to have a pro do it.
He told me what he would do and we parted with his promise of a written quote, which he provided via email less than 48 hours later.  He followed up with a call to make sure I had received it.  I was in the process of receiving 2 other bids.  I chose Mike because his quote was comparable to the others, I was impressed with his professionalism and I felt we developed a good rapport.
He was able to get started on the earliest day I could schedule him.  He and his crew were prompt, he introduced me to them, I showed them the faucets, and they went right to work.  They worked steadily with great attention to detail, and when they stopped for lunch his employee asked me to look at their progress and see if it met with my approval.  He showed me a couple of areas he said he wanted to go over again.  One area I had noticed; the other area he had to point out.
After a short break for lunch, they returned to their steady and careful work. My shrubs and plants, even those surrounding the faucets were undamaged. When they were done, I was extremely surprised at how good the house looked.  I think it never looked that good--our house was one of the first built in the neighborhood and obviously was covered in construction dust when we bought it.
Mike returned to our house when the guys were finishing up to make sure I was satisfied with their work and to discuss what stain or paint I wanted to use and to schedule his guys to return and paint when the deck was dry.  He provided some input and after we talked about the pros and cons of paint vs. semi-transparent stain, we agreed that paint was the appropriate solution.
I'd already researched stain and paint reviews, and he recommended the brand that was favorably reviewed by the consumer groups. I'd picked a few colors I thought would work with the siding and brick colors, and we reviewed them together.
His folks had to wait an extra day to return when the cloudy weather prevented the deck from drying as quickly as anticipated.
Again, they were prompt, professional, got right to work and worked steadily until they were finished, again asking me to review their progress.  Again, Mike came and walked around the deck with me.  Again, they paid great attention to detail and obviously take pride in their work.
I am glad to recommend his company  to you readers. Great job, Mike.  It was a pleasure working with him and his folks.
I have a couple of interior painting projects in mind, one of which will require some drywall repair.  I intend to call Mike when I'm ready to start the projects.

    Seal-A-Deck Home Improvements
I inquired with the vendor after seeing a deal on Angie's List for home pressure washing, and window washing.  We have just moved into the home within the past three months.  After coming to the house, Raymond was nice enough to walk the entire house with me, give me some general maintenance suggestions, and most importantly talked me out of purchasing his services at this time because the house really didn't need anything done right now.  Where I was noticing dirt, or discoloration in the siding in some places, I learned from Raymond that it was only left over residue from the cleaning solution from the most recent time the house was pressure washed.
He certainly did not have to go out of his way to show me those things, and potentially earned future business from me based on that alone.

A+ Pressure Washing & Home Repairs
Scott and one of his team members arrived promptly at 9:30 as scheduled.  His team member got started on the gutter cleaning and house pressure washing while I discussed the master bath project with Scott.  As promised, he emailed that evening with a final quote for the work I wanted done.  The house looked great when they were finished, and they went over to my in-laws house when they were finished to pressure wash their house as well.  I posted a before and after picture of my house on Facebook and said how impressed I was and know of several of my FB friends who have had their homes done as a result.  I highly recommend A+ for pressure washing services.

Clay and 2 guys came - running a bit late but that was ok. They immediately got to work chipping off the old mortar from the top of the chimney. While 2 of his guys did that, Clay came into the house and began to remove broken brick from inside the firebox. He was extremely careful to lay down drop cloths to keep the area clean. The guys outside did the same thing - they carried buckets containing the old mortar down a ladder and dumped it into their truck, and when they were done, they cleaned up behind themselves ... even outside! Then then came in and helped Clay finish up inside the firebox by handing him tools, mortar, whatever he needed. They even repair a loose brick that was on the hearth for me. When they were done, they swept all the trash up into their drop cloth and took it all outside. He had originally told me it would take about 2 hours - and he was done in about 2 hours and 10 minutes! I'd say that was a pretty accurate estimate.
