This project, like my last one, went extremely well. Andrew did as he normally does and bent over backwards to ensure my wife and I were happy with the finished product. The flooring was matched with our kitchen hardwoods. He let us test the LED lights for the indirect lighting until we got just the right string of lights. The (short) punch list was done promptly and professionally. We are so excited about our newly refinished space and cant wait to call on him again for our next project.

Excellent! Another perfect job from a very meticulous painter. He worked hard to protect my hardwood floors and as always, he cleaned up daily as he wrapped up each day. He's punctual and works steady the entire time he's on the job. Once again my walls look fabulous and I'm one happy customer!

Went very well. For comparison's sake, exterior door, storm door, paint, and light fixtures were provided by owner, and we took on the painting of the door/sidelights. Isaac was our main contact. Isaac was great.

Polite, and considerate to myself, and my family
    Cleaned up after himself
Creative when he needed to improvise to solve an issue
Trustworthy to work inside/ outside of house without supervision
Entire job took about 5 days (on/off). We are very pleased, and would not hesitate to hire Terry, and his guys again

Our 40-plus year old bathroom was in bad need of a re-do.  Precision Carpentry and Plumbing LLC - Charlie Dieterich and his crew - had a lot of work to do. They began by stripping the bathroom down to the wall studs, and floor joists - removing all sheetrock, and floor boards. They also removed all the debris each day as they completed that day's work. They found several "problems" with the bathroom, which most likely occurred during a previous "rotten floor repair" some 14 years earlier - by a different contractor. They needed to raise the rear of the bathroom floor by about one inch to make the floor level, they had to replace and support several floor joists, that were cut incorrectly, or not supported correctly. New sheetrock and strong 3/4 inch plywood flooring was installed.  The bathroom floor is now as firm and strong, as if it were on concrete!
We asked Precision Carpentry to not only re-fresh and re-model the existing bathroom, but to also change the layout of the floor, and space within the bathroom.  We had them actually reduce an adjoining bedroom closet by about 12 inches, to allow the bathroom to have more space for a tall linen closet.  They also moved the toilet from the middle of the bathroom, to a small area on the side - this required adding an extra privacy wall in the bathroom..  The major thing we asked them to do, was to remove the existing bathtub, and replace it with a walk-in shower.  This required even more reconfiguration, in that they had to  remove an existing closet within the bathroom, and reposition the existing main heating and air conditioning return duct.
The new shower was tiled, and new shower fixtures were installed. Charlie added a "bench" within the shower, and, at our request, installed "grab-bars" to help us old folks get in and out of the shower without damage!  New lighting was installed throughout the bathroom, using new LED lighting fixtures. The electrician, Randy Talbert, was excellent - could not ask for better electrical workmanship!
In addition to the bathroom work, they also reworked the adjacent hallway. The hallway was covered with 20-plus year old wallpaper, which proved the be very difficult to remove. They removed the wallpaper, removed the existing "whole-house" cooling fan in the ceiling, framed and patched the hole in the ceiling which resulted from removing the whole-house fan. They also, at our request, replaced the aging attic stairs in the hallway. New sheetrock was installed in the ceiling of the hallway. A new small storage cabinet was added in the hallway, from space we gained when the AC duct was repositioned. The hallway and ceiling were repainted after the work was completed..
We are very happy with the results! This is our second project with Precision Carpentry and Plumbing, in as many years - and we have not been disappointed.  We need our laundry room enlarged somewhat, and intend to ask Charlie and his crew to help us out with that also!  ( Charlie - are you listening?)

We have had several contractors over the 30 years we have lived in this house. Some have been good - none had been great until we worked with Charlie Dieterich and his Precision Carpentry and Plumbing LLC crew!
Honest - hard working people you can trust!

I contacted Mike Edwards and two other companies by leaving a messages on Angie's List. He called me the following morning and came out at my earliest convenience to walk around my house. Our house is a challenge because the yard slopes down steeply in the back, making the eaves at the side and top gutter at the rear of the house equivalent to a 3 story house. The back of the house is also faces north, and it was pretty dirty.
We had stained our deck three times over the last 10 years and had already decided we were going to have a pro do it.
He told me what he would do and we parted with his promise of a written quote, which he provided via email less than 48 hours later.  He followed up with a call to make sure I had received it.  I was in the process of receiving 2 other bids.  I chose Mike because his quote was comparable to the others, I was impressed with his professionalism and I felt we developed a good rapport.
He was able to get started on the earliest day I could schedule him.  He and his crew were prompt, he introduced me to them, I showed them the faucets, and they went right to work.  They worked steadily with great attention to detail, and when they stopped for lunch his employee asked me to look at their progress and see if it met with my approval.  He showed me a couple of areas he said he wanted to go over again.  One area I had noticed; the other area he had to point out.
After a short break for lunch, they returned to their steady and careful work. My shrubs and plants, even those surrounding the faucets were undamaged. When they were done, I was extremely surprised at how good the house looked.  I think it never looked that good--our house was one of the first built in the neighborhood and obviously was covered in construction dust when we bought it.
Mike returned to our house when the guys were finishing up to make sure I was satisfied with their work and to discuss what stain or paint I wanted to use and to schedule his guys to return and paint when the deck was dry.  He provided some input and after we talked about the pros and cons of paint vs. semi-transparent stain, we agreed that paint was the appropriate solution.
I'd already researched stain and paint reviews, and he recommended the brand that was favorably reviewed by the consumer groups. I'd picked a few colors I thought would work with the siding and brick colors, and we reviewed them together.
His folks had to wait an extra day to return when the cloudy weather prevented the deck from drying as quickly as anticipated.
Again, they were prompt, professional, got right to work and worked steadily until they were finished, again asking me to review their progress.  Again, Mike came and walked around the deck with me.  Again, they paid great attention to detail and obviously take pride in their work.
I am glad to recommend his company  to you readers. Great job, Mike.  It was a pleasure working with him and his folks.
I have a couple of interior painting projects in mind, one of which will require some drywall repair.  I intend to call Mike when I'm ready to start the projects.

We hired David based on Angie's List reviews to replace the ceiling in our laundry room, which had sustained damage from a leaky bathtub that required multiple plumber visits over several months to fix. The ceiling was a mess with moldy bubbled spots and holes from the last plumber visit. David took three days to remove the old ceiling, install the new drywall, tape the seams, and mud the edges. He explained to me on the phone initially that it would take three visits to do the job right, allowing the mud to dry sufficiently between layers, rather than rushing the job and ending up with cracks. David did a great job and took obvious pride in his work, and my husband was impressed with the quality of the repair. We repainted the ceiling and touched up the walls ourselves afterward, and the room looks great! You can't tell the ceiling was damaged or repaired. David was prompt, responsive, showed up on time, and we felt comfortable leaving him to lock up when we went off to work. David also cleaned up well behind himself, and drywall repair is a very dusty, messy job! With previous repair people, we've spent days cleaning up the mess they left behine, so this was a nice change.

Fernando's prices are much cheaper than most other contractors, but you get what you pay for. Most of the work was of average quality -- some was poorly done and we had to go back and fix it ourselves. We also had to clean up a lot of mess after Fernando's guys left. They weren't always on time, and when Fernando wasn't on-site himself, his guys didn't seem to know what they were supposed to be doing; we frequently had to tell them. We got a lot of work done for significantly less than we could have paid elsewhere, but the quality and professionalism were fair, and Fernando contractors aren't specialists, just general laborers. We made the mistake of having him do a later job of replacing a bathtub, and we're now having to pay a real plumber about $600 to repair the leak that Fernando's guys left. If you want to save money, Fernando's rates are very good; just don't expect "A" quality work and  accept that you may have to follow-up with touch ups of your own.
