    It was in their purchase plan. There was no cost for the first two services, so it was no cost. It took them a little bit less than an hour. Everybody is very professional. They were very concerned. They listened and they made sure they understood everything that we wanted done. They explained what services they provided for the 5,000 mile service. They did everything. They gave us the documents showing that it was completed. So, we were very pleased. So far, we've only been there once, but everything that we had done with them while working with them have been well above and beyond all the other dealerships that we've dealt with so far.

    Jimmy Kellett has always been there when we needed him for our personal as well as our work vehicles... we run an HVAC company here in Mauldin, and our vans are very important to keep on the road. Jimmy and his crews are always very responsive with an emergency when needed and also very punctual with scheduled services. We very much endorse Kellett's for repairs, service, and emergency towing. This time we were very lucky and my wife had a flat tire just a couple of miles outside of Mauldin, Jimmy picked up the van within 30 mins. of getting the call and had it ready for us the next day. Premium services at a fair price. Thank You Kellett's !!

    The people at the garage were great to work with and they were always very professional and polite. Overall, the services performed were as expected and their mechanics were timely with their work. If there was a downside to the experience, it was that my vehicle wasn't driveable when I picked it up b/c the carburetor they installed required a unique air cleaner adapter that the garage didn't have, or attempt to obtain, and they didn't check with me in advance to see if I had one, either (the air cleaner they removed from the bad carburetor wouldn't work with the new carburetor they installed). As it was, I had to find an interim solution so the vehicle would be driveable track down an adapter on my own. For me, personally, this was a minor inconvenience because I have several vehicles so I was never without transportation. Since their staff was so friendly, and the work they performed was solid, I wasn't overly concerned about this inconvenience and I would still recommend them bain spite of the communication breakdown. i will definitely use them again.

    Had coupon for oil change, tire rotation and alignment. oil change and tire rotation was done timely and satisfactory. Replaced lug bolts on rear tire as requested. Unable to perform wheel alignment because could not get bolts loose.

    had a coupon for oil change with tire rotation for $20. Stopped by but they didn't have time to perform service. Called next day and made appointment. Car was ready when promised but they did not rotate tires (said they didn't appear to need rotation). Cost was $5.00 more than coupon (extra charges for taxes, oil disposal etc)

    Took 2002 Honda Accord into Breakaway Honda for a recall on airbag. Breakaway gave laundry list of items they recommended to be addressed. Quoted Timing belt, timing belt balance shaft belt and water pump: Breakaway Honda - $1,000, The Tire Exchange- $900, Brookshire - about $495 (came in at $519.41).
    Brookshire changed spark plugs for $84, Breakaway quoted $211.
    Brookshire checked check engine light, replaced Oxygen sensor for $149.37, Breakaway quoted $89.95 just to diagnose.
    Brookshire changed air filter and PCV valve for $77.36, Breakaway quoted $107.
    Brookshire actual on items above: $828.19, Breakaway quote on items above: $1,407.98 (does not include parts and labor for Oxygen sensor from Breakaway)

    R & U SECURITY SYSTEMS
    The last time they came out, installed an alarm system in a different part of the house, and they're the best.  I've use them since 1992.  It's one of these companies, instead of talking to the operator when the alarm system goes off, I always talk to the boss.  They did an additional installation for me.  I give them the highest ratings and will continue to use them in the future.
