FCarolina Tractor WorxSCAMMED ME.....I would not recommend this man to conduct ANY type of business for anyone. He is a very bad liar. He misrepresented himself, not professional at all. Didn’t have the equipment to preform the job, paid him half his price up front. From that moment on it was lie after lie, excuse after excuse why he couldn’t do the job, family members sick, equipment broke, too hot, worker sick, he would show up in the middle of the night to try to do lot clearing. He continued to ask to borrow money from me. Saying he needed gas and other things. He never completed the work that I paid him for. And refused to return the money that I LOANED to him. AClearview Tree ServiceI saw their ad in the paper and needed tree work done after a hurricane. Many tree services are hard to get but they responded to my voicemail right away. He gave me an estimate by phone while he was in my yard (I was unable to be present and didn't want to wait to schedule meeting him). He described all the work that he would do and explained that he had to meet with the city arborist for approval to prune the large oak and maple. After the approval came through, he scheduled me for the first of the following week, He got the job done in a half day, and sent me plenty of photos. I had to pay him based on the photos, but I got to the house to see it the next weekend. Everything looked very professionally done. Just did a super job and the price was very good! AJahn and Bob were at our house the next day after submitting our request. They were friendly, informative and professional. Jahn provided copies of insurance papers even before we inquired, gave a reasonable written estimate and a short window to starting the tree removal. They began tree removal in less than a week and had the project completed within about 10 days, including a weekend and our add-on requests. Jahn even sent some perspective photos from treetop height and some ground-level photos during the process. They removed a total of 7 large trees, ground 13 stumps, removed some leftover decaying stacked firewood (from hurricane damage several years ago), hauled all trees and debris (except for a few pieces of maple one of my sons wanted to keep for his knife making hobby) and cleaned the work areas nicely. The brick fences and the house were unscathed. While we might have been able to find a lower overall price from another tree service, Jahn has a strong reputation in the area for providing top notch tree service. Given the potential risk from felling trees so close to our house, this was a great choice.
