AColumbia Seamless Gutter CompanyI called them on July 19, 2013 to get an estimate on replacing the gutters on my mother's house and we set up an appointment for them to come out on the 25th of July. They arrived at the appointed time and Mike was very professional. Gave me a written estimate, which included a %5 discount for using Andie's list to find them. I told him I would discuss it with my mother first before making a decision. We called them back on July 26th and left a message that would like them to do the job and wanted to know when they could come back out to do the work. They returned our call on July 29th. We arranged for them to come out on the 7th of August 10 AM in the morning. They called on the 6th to said they had to push our appointment back one day (8th) due to the weather, which was fine. The two gentlemen arrived on time and began work right away. While they worked they answered any questions we had with a smile. They finished the work in 5 hours and cleaned up the area and hauled away what needed to to taken away. Told us if we had any problems to give them a call. The gutters look great and are working great. I do plan on using them again on my mobile home when the time comes.- Carolyn P.

AGUTTERMENWater was coming into the house because the gutters had come loose. We attempted to use local contractors to fix the problem, but after 5 weeks, no one had shown up or even called to schedule the repair. So, I decided to call The Guttermen. Troy came out the same day that I called and gave me a price for the repair. Not only was the price 1/2 of what the local guys estimated, but the Guttermen were here the following day and completed the repair. I should have contacted them first and saved a lot of time and frustration. I would highly recommend The Guttermen to anyone who needs the job done right and in a quick manner.- Kathleen C.

AWindows R UsAS SOON AS POSSIBLE THE INSTALLERS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND INSTALLED THE GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS. WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT TO FINISH THE JOB THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ELBOWS TO FINISH THE JOB. BRANDON BROWN SAID THAT THEY WOULD RETURN 8/5/13 TO FINISH THE JOB. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, SO I CALLED THEM AGAIN ON 8/12/13AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE BY THE END OF THE WEEK THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I CALLED THEM AGAIN ON 8/25/13 AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE , BRANDON SHOWED UP AND FINISHED THE JOB ON 9/12/13- Margaret F.

AR & R Remodeling & RestorationGerald Bennett of Rand R is kind, most qualified, and completely professional. His regular assistant couldn't be with him for this job. Instead of cancelling our appointment, he located a friend in the field to help. The gutters went up quickly and without "add-ons". Price quoted was price paid. I was in the process of building rain barrels, so Gerald told me to call when I was ready to install. As promised, he returned to help me install the diverters. It has been 3 months since installation and Gerald has called or stopped by on several occasions to confirm that the gutters were working properly. AExcellent work, quick and very professional. Did the entire job in 5 1/2 hours. Did a great job of cleaning up and not damaging plants, bushes or flowers. Only issue was we committed to a week and they didn’t show up until the next week and with no notification they were coming.

DArrived on time for appt., friendly. Said he would get back to me with estimate, and that’s where the ball was dropped. Never came up with an estimate. I had to call several times before I got a call back. Received nothing but empty promises of getting any kind of follow up. Never did I get the estimate or any kind of reasoning why they were ignoring me. I am very disappointed in a Gutter Techs and their follow thru. Even if they were too busy and couldn’t fit me in, they should have been up front and honest about that instead of me having to continually follow-up for no follow-thru.

FInterestingly, I had a very similar experience to another reviewer who had a quote done by a Canty salesperson. Let me just preempt that I don't go out of my way to write a negative review. It really has to be something where I morally feel I need to warn others on "Buyer Beware". This is exactly that type of review. And to be clear, the other negative review was read for the first time 2 days after my appointment. I do not jump on bandwagons. This is my actual experience. Like the other reviewer, the "saleperson", a friendly, energetic, good-looking, well-dressed young fellow came out and did a measurement of the perimeter. He went under into the crawl space but was there for 30ish minutes. This pales in comparison to other (literally 4 foundation companies) who went under and spent quality time inspecting 23 piers. When the salesperson emerged from the crawlspace, it was "Whew! That is really bad!! Your house won't stay up for another 2 years!!". This is a 1930s house that has dry-stacked piers - hasn't moved yet! But let's put that aside. He proceeded to tell me that I need to replace ALL 23 piers at $900.00 per pier, a $20,700 quote!! Here's the kicker: Remember I had several companies in already to look at my foundation. Not one company said I need to replace ALL piers. Instead they each gave very realistic view of my foundation. I had one huge competitor who was in my crawlspace for 3 hours and he gave an in-depth write-up along with a diagram of where my piers sat and his recommendations along with optional recommendations. An 8 page write up and he wasn't close to being the highest quote. But not Canty! Canty does not give your an analysis of your existing foundation. Canty does NOT offer solutions. THEY DO NOT REPAIR!! They only replace! He did not go over issues individually because it did not matter to him. He was going for the full replacement based upon his "warranty". More on that in a sec. Had I known, I would have never made an appointment with them which I waited over 3 weeks for. How absolutely greedy can you be? My other 4 companies all averaged between $6K-$10K. This salesperson's excuse? "Well we warranty it so we have to do them all". No dear, you warranty the product not the items you do not do. Your logic and the rebuttal you have been fed to serve to customers does not apply to an educated researched person. Lastly, they use a jack-system but only warranty it for 25 years. Huh? 25 years? They say its the manufacturer's warranty but Canty does not warranty at all. I would hope my house stays up for another 25, 50, 100+, years but you saying on the 26 year, I may be looking at another $20,000 estimate from Canty because you can't guarantee the quality of your product? This is not a car. This is a house! No thank you! You clearly don't stand behind your product. You clearly don't do what is in the best interest of the customer. And you will never have my business! If this review helps one household to look at their full scope options, research and educate yourself on what is the real issues with your foundation and then make the best decision (whether its Canty or not), this review has done its job. Please do your research.

AThe project went well from start to finish. Luis was very professional and accommodating regarding terms of contract. My entire roof was replaced within 2 days. I was very pleased with the roof it made my home look like a new house. Upon inspection once roof was completed there were 3 findings that occurred during the roof installation, 2 where minor damages that occurred to areas of house not related to roof and rain diverter was not replaced. Each incident was fixed/ replaced within 1-2 business days as promised.
