AMilmark Outdoor LightingWe contacted Milmark to get an estimate on installing outdoor lighting in the front of our newly constructed home. Mark Hoffman's estimate was expertly detailed even providing us with a temporary visual install at night of what our lighting could look like. When we received the quote we were disappointed because we loved his work but could not afford the cost. Mark worked with us to make changes to the design of the install. He came to our home again to give us a demo of a revised installation which we loved and so was able to bring the quote down to an amount we could manage. His employee was punctual, professional and courteous. We love our lighting at the front of our new house and will use him again down the road when we have additional lighting needs.- Christina G.

AWALKUP ELECTRICALI had a hard time getting someone out to my house to wire my dust collection unit. Sent them a message via the website on Tuesday, received an email the next morning with a name and contact info and after a quick call I had an appointment for the next day. I was even told that they may only be able to determine what is needed and then would require a second appointment. Two techs showed up on Wednesday afternoon shortly after 3p.m. and within minutes decided they had what they needed for the job. Just over an hour later and I was up and running. Both techs were professional and personable and the timeliness of the company and the techs was exceptional. Will definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone needing electrical work done that they contact them as well!- Charles J.

AI can't begin to express my gratitude to Paul Zimmer and Detail Solar. I had a disaster created by a windstorm which caused my solar inverter to detach from the house and flip upside down. The conduit, cutoff boxes and wiring were all hanging precariously. Each day that went by caused more stress as all that heavy equipment pulled further and further away from the house. I called the company that installed the solar, only 18 months ago, only to find out that they had gone out of business and disappeared. Also, no one close to my address was interested in servicing my need. Fortunately, one day I happened to look on Angie's List and found a company with a Greenville address that did solar repair. I didn't even complete the application because I didn't think that someone from Greenville would come all the way to Myrtle Beach to fix my problem. To my surprise, Paul called me the same day and SHOWED UP THE VERY NEXT DAY to start the process of removing all the damaged equipment and wiring from the house. He made the house safe from any further damage and hauled off the debris to the local dump. Two weeks later, he and his crew showed up to totally upgrade my system, fix the siding and get my panels producing power again. I have since referred him to others that have solar problems and will continue to support him and his team any way I can. The bottom line is I didn't know that honest, thorough and quality people like him were still around. Do yourself a favor and hire Detail Solar for anything solar and you will absolutely be amazed.

AHad a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.
