ADriggers Small Engine Inci called about getting my Cub Cadet riding mower fixed. The lady that answered, Dot, was very polite and said it may be possible to get my mower back the same day if I got it in early. Well, they got the mower repaired right away, and that afternoon I was back at home happily mowing my yard! Excellent response from the service department. They have a huge staff that also sells a big stock of new equipment from mowers to blowers. Would absolutely recommend them.- Nancy W.

ASOUTHERN LAWN EQUIPMENTAfter driving by their old location on Boone Hall Road for years, I finally decided to drop in and check out their mowers. I am mowing about 6 acres, and my old mower was so slow there had to be a better way. I first met Marshall, who directed me over to the zero turn mowers. He was showing me several options, and then introduced me to his son, Brad. We discussed my "need for speed" and a great cut for a couple of hours. We narrowed it down to the SCAG line of power equipment, made in the USA, and built like a tank. It also addressed my need to cut down on the 4.5 hours I spent mowing just part of my yard. During the summer, it was killing my day. Brad offered a test drive, but I declined since I'd never driven a zero turn mower. Took his brochures home and mulled it over. A few days later, settled on my new baby. The young gentleman (and I do mean "gentleman"!) that delivered it was extremely polite, very patiently going over all the controls and instructions. I think he was almost as excited as I was when I took my first swipe down the lawn! This business is as "Mayberry" as you'll ever find. CSears Hometown StoreEventually replaced unit. This generator failed once during last 6 months. Contacted Sears about repairs they said they'd get a service man out to site. I'm still waiting some 3 months later. The generator is used to draw water for my horses and they were told this but still plenty of promises but no action. Action Man they are not. I have been told that they don't have a service contact with anyone here in Walterboro was no body comes out. I have had it fixed by a small engines service center here in Walterboro. Took him about 10 minutes but I had to take it to him. Didn't cost too much either.- Anthony P.

FBadcock Home FurnitureTheir service is terrible. When the equipment has problems, they are awful about taking care of it. All of the products are under warranty, yet you have to take the equipment to a different service location, and they will always charge you for the service. I can't say much about the quality of the product, but it is clear the service is terrible, and we have given them more than one try.- Larry B.
