    Very pleased with his promptness and calling to confirm. I also liked the fact that he called while en-route to let me know he was on his way. I had called a couple of other places before calling him and could not get past an answering machine and even though I left a message, got no call back. I was pleased when I called this service that I got a response to my phone call right away. My refrigerator had been leaking puddles of water a couple of times a day for a few days - a real nuisance. So am happy to have it fixed. I would definitely call J R's service again if I need an appliance repaired.

    Where do I begin, at the beginning I guess.......
    It turns out that Dew's doesn't do their own installs or at least not all of them.  They sublet it out to another company.  I won't at this time revile the installer's name. 
    I have a 2 fold problem.  First, the installers came early and I wasn't available but when contacted, they came right back.  Fantastic.

    The install costs were much higher than others (Home Depot, etc,) but I have had some bad experiences so I thought I'd try someone else, DEWS. 

    The fellows got right to work removing my old dishwasher and putting in the new one.  During this time, one of the guys asked to use the bathroom.  I said of course.  Then while doing the install, he and I were talking about some things I have lying around.  I opened a drawer, right beside this guy, to show him another one that I had.  Also, lying right there were 2 $100.00 bills, right were anyone could see them.  I am rather sure both guys saw them, but the one guy did for sure. He was 2 feet away.
    Just a few minutes before they were getting ready to leave, the other guy asked to use the bathroom.  I said of course, but I thought this was VERY ODD.  I have done service work in people's homes for over 40 years and have only done that once.  I was sick.

    They were getting ready to leave when one of the guy noticed that they didn't install the bottom grill and had to come back to install it.

    Afterwards they both were leaving and I said to myself, "They wouldn't have stolen my money would they?" I rushed back to the drawer and to my amazement one of the two $100.00 bills were taken. One or both of them stole the $100.00 bill.
    I immediately ran out and said to them, "Hey, give me back my $100.00" to which one answered in about one second, "I didn't take anything you can check my pockets"; grabbing at his pockets to show me.
    I immediately called they owner and told him what had happened.  You won't believe what he told me!

    He said: ?Call the police right away and tell the police to pull them over and stop them. They have been accused 5 times, and this makes the 6th time, of theft. Tell the police they have my permission to stop and frisk them. I've been trying to catch them for a long time.?

    Are you reading this the way I'm writing this? This company sent people they know or believe are thieves into my house without giving me a warning.

    Here comes to my second problem: Later, I went down to the installer's shop and the owner basically denied everything. Saying, go ahead and sue me and I'll sue you right back. I said that all I want is my $100.00 back and he said: ?How do I know they took it, it's your word against theirs.?

    I left and went right over to Dew's and spoke with the guy there and he asked for a couple days to get things straighten out, I agreed. A couple days later he asked me to come down and he gave me my $100.00 back. GREAT, I thought. Then I asked him if the installers were still doing their work and he said ?Yes?.

    I asked, how can you do that? He said, to give him some time to get someone else. A few weeks later I checked and they are still doing Dew's installs. That was 2 weeks ago. I can't let this go.
    The reason I didn't give an "F" ratings is because Dew's did give me my $100.00 back.  Thank you and I am sorry I have to write this review

    We just moved into our a home near Myrtle Beach, SC We became concerned about unusually loud noises made by the refrigerator. Additionally, a light would not go out on the dishwasher status panel. After consulting Angie's list we called J and J Appliance. Their technician "Thomas" responded within 2 hours. After hearing the noise Thomas indicated that the noise made was the refer "pushing" Freon and, though annoying, was normal. The status light was our unfamiliarity with the dishwasher. Since we had told Thomas that we were considering the purchase of additional new appliances he took the time to explain a "technicians" point of view of our potential choices. A very pleasant experience brought about by a very pleasant, professional, clean-cut technician. After moving here from Northern Virginia the $70.00 service fee was wonderful. Very satisfied

    Call J and J at 9:00AM and left some info concerning the problem on the answering machine.
    The call was returned within 15 minutes and arrangements were made for Jeff to come. He also explained that because we were out of his area there would be an additional fuel charge to which we agreed.
    He took down the model number to make sure he had the parts to make the necessary suspected repair.
    Jeff was at our home by about 9:30AM, made another diagnosis to make sure of the problem, proceeded to explain all that was involved and started the work. As he progressed he kept us appraised of what he was doing and why.
    Work was completed by 11:00AM and the dryer is as good as new.

    It did not start out great. The replacement part was put in my refrigerator, but it did not work so I was a little upset about that. So I called Dews, concerned that I just spent $250 with them and it does not work. They did the right thing, they ordered a new part, came out and replaced it again, no extra costs and it still works to this day. It was them not bickering with me about it not working that I liked. So they will get a good review. I have recommended them as well because they stand by their word and in my book that means a lot.

    I was happy to find someone not too far away. I had difficulty finding someone at first. One company I called referred me to Hall Appliance since it would be closer.
