We cannot say enough great things about this place, as I would not just leave my four legged babies anywhere. The facility is clean, secure with cameras, etc. , professionally staffed, great and secure fenced in areas. On top of making sure veterinarian records were updated. Medicine given daily. Megan is awesome and really cares and remembers all our babies. We have used them for years and will in the next month. Grooming is great too.

TLC Home Pet Sitting & Services
TLC was a very professional company their prices are very competitive! They were prompt and followed my necrotic directions. Everything was done to perfection! Her grooming is magnificent and my dogs love going there. I recommend TLC to anyone needing cleaning and pet services. We just LOVE her!!!

I selected this business because of location and YELP coupon/discount for new customers.

When I dropped the dog off, I mentioned I found a coupon online.  She said to print it out and bring it when I picked him up.  When I came to get the dog,  she wouldn't honor the coupon!  She examined it very carefully and said something was wrong, that she offers a $5 discount to new customers,  but this coupon represented a $10 off deal --" this doesn't look right, this must have been altered/changed."   She was very firm, examining the coupon and looking at me over the top of the paper.... like I was presenting a counterfeit coupon.  She made NO attempt to help resolve this.   She said something was "fishy" about this -- she was very cold and insinuating I did something wrong.  She never suggested it could be a mistake... she intentionally made me feel like I was trying to cheat her!

I did not try to argue with her, just asked for my coupon back and paid the bill.  After this awkward and confrontational experience, it would have been nice if she at least offered the "$5 discount for new customers"   But it is apparent she is not a nice owner.

I expect she followed up with YELP to report the mistake or confirm the coupon.  If she did, she learned --  that I was not trying to rip her off, she was too quick to judge me, and she made a mistake. You think she would call to apologize?

YELP did refund my money for the coupon purchase and responded to my inquiry whether this is a valid coupon and if the owner was aware of the deal.  Here is the YELP response --   Thanks for your message. To confirm, these Yelp Deals offers are set up by the Business Owners themselves.   Yelp Deals, Gift Certificates, and Check-In Offers are self-serve products, which means that Yelp doesn't and won't post these on a business' behalf. These promotions can only be posted via a Yelp Business Account.

This was not a happy place.  Neither of the employees smiled, was friendly, or seemed comfortable in this environment. There are many choices for pet grooming and boarding in this area.  I encourage you look for a place that is warm and welcoming   If you don't feel comfortable there, it isn't likely to be a much better experience for your pet.

Owner is professional and polite at all times, VERY clean and doesn't smell like pets are on the premises. Im satified so far with service and will continue to use this facility. Some times the Groomers are sort of quiet when U come in ( not talkative), but they are doing there job- not socializing. I respect the Professionalism of the staff and concern the owner has for the pets. She lives on the premises, which I feel better with leaving my pet at the property. Ive been using the facility since Aug 2014. I have used another place in West Columbia and the experience was horrible, so Im a Happy Customer!

I followed the groomer to this location in the summer because she is that good! On arrival the first time, the person that I can only assume is the owner, was in the office, but never introduced herself or offered any information about the facility. I handed my two dogs over to the groomer for their appointment. Each time I went to this business for an appointment the same thing happened (I get the dogs groomed about every 5 weeks). In October, I asked to speak with the groomer, within hearing distance of the 'owner', and let her know that I would continue to bring my dogs to her at this business through the end of the year. After that I would be looking for something closer to where I live, shop, etc. That the location was VERY remote and driving that distance was not productive for me. At that time I confirmed my appointments for November and December with the groomer and the 'owner' stated that the appointments were on the book. The November visit was as the other visits - very little interaction and an overall bad attitude from the 'owner'. I went into Lexington to run errands; one of which was to find a more convenient grooming location. While talking to the owner she asked who I was using and stated that she really wanted the groomer in her shop. She asked if I would deliver a business card and the groomer to call her. I delivered the card simply stating that the shop owner wanted to talk to her. When I arrived on December 20th at 9:00 AM, I was again greeted with an icy stare from the 'owner' and promptly overlooked for the next person coming in for their appointment. This happened a total of 3 times while I stood there and watched. When it appeared the office was vacant of other clients, she turned to me and stated that I did not have an appointment and that I needed to leave. I stated that I had confirmed the appointment with the groomer and that she was expecting me. With that the 'owner' stated that she expected respect and that I had brought the groomer a car from another shop and I would have to leave the building. My dogs and I stood outside till the groomer arrived and I stated that because of the viscious verbal attack on me, I was not comfortable leaving my dogs because I had no idea how the 'owner' would treat them. I told the groomer if she changed locations, I would follow her, but I will NEVER step foot on the property of Special Pets again, nor will they have any business from me. Based on the surly attitude of the 'owner' that I experienced, I hope others pets are safe in her care.

    PALMETTO PET RESORT
The fourth, and last time, our puppies were traumatized. We found out they had been exposed to a dog who had been severely abused. The dog went around and around in circles. Our puppies has not been bathed. The person at the register was very rude. The staff we had known was no longer there. We decided we would no longer take our pets there either.

I would NEVER take my dog to this groomer again. He got yeast infections in both ears from getting so much water in them. He couldn't stop shaking his head when I picked him up. He also had cuts inside both his ears, one is a very large scab now which I'm treating with antibiotic ointment. I feel so bad for sending my baby to this place. Please don't take your dog here.

    Lexington Pet Lodge
Lexington Pet Lodge Loved it We have been using Lexington Pet lodge boarding and grooming for our dog for 7 years. We could not find a more caring staff to take care of our best friend. They treat him as if he were their own. They are always courteous to us and very understanding to his and our needs. We love the fact that when we call to check on him they take the time to walk back and check him at that time. They have cameras upfront to watch over all the kennels. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors that started using them are are as happy as we are. The reception area is spotless and welcoming, as well as the kennels. They understand the needs of all pets that are boarded there and treat them individually. We recommend them highly, and believe me we are very particular about who takes care of our boy. Thank you to all the owners and staff....Beethoven loves you all!

    PAMPERED POOCH GROOMING
Upon examination, the vet discovered that the  "groomer" had cut our dog's right eye lid 2/3 of the way off, pulled all of the hair from her inner ears, which caused massive inflammation, lacerations near the right eye cheek and also her lower belly area.  The vet reattached the eye lid, (hopefully it will heal when the stitches are removed in ten days. Our vet gave us pain meds and antibiotics for her.
I contacted the part-owner of the Pampered Pooch and she said that she would reimburse us for all of the vets and medication bills.  Which she did.  The issue is that we were never notified that our dog had been injured and that the "groomer" did notice that she had injured our dog.  The co-owner did tell me that the policy is that at anytime a cut or blood is noticed, the shop takes the dog to a vet.  This was not done and our dog had to have been in pain for sometime.  The owner did give me a check and acted like nothing happened, other than make a half hearted comment the "she would call and check on our dog's condition.
