New windows, doors, railings on porch, siding, new steps on porch

Very happy does not even begin to describe how we felt about the job Tim and his crew did. He was always here on time and would keep us posted each week on what days he would be here. Tim was also very good about returning phone calls. We had several companies give us a price for the same services and his prices were the most fair. We had 25 windows replaced and the wood around each window frame wrapped. He did an excellent job and the windows are so very efficient. We can already see a difference in our electric bill. He also installed two exterior door units. We are very pleased with the job he did on installing them. We changed out our wooden porch rails for rails we did not ever have to paint. They are beautiful and again he and his crew did a great job. We have a wrap around porch that is high off the ground. We also have a split steps going up to the porch. The wood had rotted on some of the steps and he replaced and painted the steps also. We are so very happy with the job he did on these. He also replaced the siding inside our screened porch. It looks so much better with the new siding. Tim is a very honest person and did extra things for us that he just noticed needed to be done. He was always responsive and the quality of his work is exceptional. We will definitely use him again for any work we need done.

6 new sliding glass patio doors

Great! Mr. Goins did a fantastic job replacing all 6 doors. He is very knowlegable and professional. Saw the word done through the end to make sure we were satisfied. He is an A type personally that wants to make sure he does a great job, and he does.

Wood soffit/fascia was replaced with vinyl.

Working with Mr. Goins was a wonderful experience. He returned my initial call the same day and came out the next day to give us an estimate. Work began and completed as scheduled and the price was very reasonable. Mr. Goins is very professional and wastes no time getting the job done. Our house looks like new and we are thrilled with the job. We would gladly recommend Goins Construction!

Tim Goins and his team provided an excellent evaluation and a detail description of the work that would be necessary to meet our home improvement goals. After a number of years looking for a highly recommended home improvement specialist we found Tim on Angie's List. We had been hesitant to tackle another window replacement project but after talking with Tim we felt very comfortable with his knowledge and his understanding of what we needed. He actually completed two major projects for us within a 2-3 months period. The first project was to reconfigure the replacement of a very large palladium window and two side lights on our second story. He recommended replacing the 3 windows with 4 energy efficient ones which looked much better than the original lay out. He also wrapped the outside moldings with aluminum. At the same time Tim wrapped two large "A" figured gable vents built into the roof with aluminum. We were so pleased with Tim's work and his friendly knowledgeable manner that a few weeks later we asked him to prepare an estimate to paint all our outside trim overhang and eaves. He recommended wrapping the overhang with aluminum and vinyl which was much superior to painting with very little increase in cost. The wrapping required a great deal of second story work. He also opened up our continuous vents to allow improved ventilation on the overhang.

Tim kept us informed as he progressed on our projects. He was always on time and kept the work site clean and free of any excess scraps. His clean up was super. We highly recommend Tim Goins and feel confident that his work ethic and honesty will be appreciated as well as his friendly approach with his clients.

11 replacement windows by Revere (Amhurst Plus) with low E glass and argon gas.

Unbelievable!!! After getting several estimates from big name companies, I decided to look for a private contractor on Angie's List. I found Goins Construction LLC and decided to give them a call. I spoke with mr. Tim Goings and set up a time for an estimate. Mister Goins showed up on time and gave an excellent estimate on replacing 11 windows. The replacement windows were for my mother's home in the Cayce West Columbia area. We hired Goins Construction and we're very pleased with the outcome. Mister Goins showed up on time, did all the work as promised, was very courteous, polite and professional. If you are reading this review and are thinking about getting replacement windows I would highly recommend allowing mr. Goins to give you an estimate. I would further recommend hiring this company for working on your home. I would certainly higher Goins Construction again for any future services this company provides. Excellent professionalism, excellent service, and a unbeatable price. 100 Stars!😀

Put in replacement windows for the entire house, made repairs as needed and power washed.

Tim was wonderful to work with! Inspected the project and presented an estimate in the time frame promised. Scheduled the work and completed as promised. Worked with the tenants who reside at the home to schedule and ensure they were satisfied. Completed on time and with in estimate. I will use Goins Construction again. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Have french doors removed and add new vinyl windows. Repair water damaged wood. Replace vinyl siding

Would never return my call. If you dont want to work, then at least have the professional courtesy to call and say you dont.

They installed 14 windows in our home.

The windows were done really nicely. One of our appliances was broken during the installation, and they did their best to replace it and to make up for the inconvenience by giving us some other services.

Cover overhang & trim on house and garage. Wrap vents. Replace corner boards. Pressure washing.

This job, from my perspective, went smooth as silk! The came each day and worked professionally and efficiently. They did work above and beyond what the quote entailed, and above my expectations. The work they did resulted in such a neat appearance and made such an immense improvement in our home, and then when they left the job upon completion, you would not have known they had been there, due to their job site clean-up. It's obvious that they take pride in their work. In the past, we've had contractors ask for some money up-front. And, in the past, we had to do our own clean-up. Not the case here. Pleasantly surprised. No disappointment. Needless to say, I highly recommend Goins Construction. They have also done work at the homes of two of our sons (windows replaced there). Same experience at those homes. Hire them with confidence that you will not be disappointed in the finished work. I wish all contractors worked in this manner. The Golden Rule is alive and well.
