    Sears Appliance Repair
The repair person, Justin did nothing to diagnose the problem except look at the code. If he had taken the washer apart he would have found a sock stuck in the drain pipe and solved the problem. Instead he said I needed a new water pump and it would cost over $300, PLUS 10 days with no washer. The kicker was when he was finished he told me I didnt even need the part. I was livid! Will NEVER use Sears again.

I think his name was Paul. He worked well with my step dad and assisted him with moving items to other freezer. He explained my options and I was satisfied with his expertise with our refrigerator. It was cheaper to buy a new refrigerator than to do the work. Recommendation: Dont get a Whirlpool, it lasted less than 2 years before needing major repair.

    Mr. Appliance of Lexington
I called them to fix a dishwasher that was leaking from the door. The technician was prompt and courteous. He advised that the hinges were bent and would need to be replaced for $280. I asked if it would not be better to replace the 15-year-old appliance and he said no, that it was in good shape and cheaper to repair. $280 and new hinges later, the door still leaked. On his call-back trip, he said the frame was bent and could not be fixed. I asked about receiving a partial discount and he said the office would call me. Nobody ever contacted me, and no one has returned my two calls this week, even though I was assured that Melissa would call me by lunchtime two days ago. I ended up selling the house, and had to give the buyer a $500 credit to buy a new dishwasher. So, I'm out $780 because of them.

Turned out that repair would cost more than it fridge was worth. Although tech could have tried to make money, he suggested us buying a new fridge instead and gave us all the reasons why. Really appreciate the technicians honesty, and willingness to answer questions. Would highly recommend Sloan Appliance!!!

We thought our dishwasher failing to work properly was the fault of the dishwasher, but Shawn quickly determined the cause was sediment in the inlet valve and water line. We just had a slab leak repaired so this made sense. He cleaned the valve and line out and it is working great! He was friendly and Id call on him again.

    Handy Appliance Repair
We used the Angie's List deal of $40 (a bargain for a house call!) and he was prompt and professional. He identified that it was not coming from our fridge and referred us to a plumber whose work he recommended and we were able to get the problem corrected. He knew what he was doing, didn't waste our time or money, and steered us in the right direction to resolve our problem. Some of the best $40 I've spent in a long time! I would highly recommend him.

It was great! I messaged through Angies List on a Sunday evening. The owner Fred called me Monday morning. He was able to get a technician to me that day. He called and confirmed arrival time. Frank, the technician, was so professional. He was prepared with all the tools and parts. He had genuine Electrolux parts for the repair, which is important to me. He provided a price before he did the work and cleaned up when finished. I would definitely recommend Sloan and would definitely call them the next time I need a repair.

Kenny did the best job! He found that the washer leak was just due to dog hair buildup at a seal area and cleaned that up. Then he took apart the dryer to reach the years of lint that were diminishing the airflow and causing fire concerns. He worked hard, finished up quickly and took my coupon from AL.

Finding a Maytag repair man is very difficult. They came back to put the computer board in and that was not the problem so they had to order another one; there is one on top and one on bottom. The guy was very professional, very knowledgeable and they did a really good job.  I did not like how much it cost and how long it took but you can not help parts that are not in. The person who did the work was very professional, friendly and a good guy.  I never felt uncomfortable, very professional. His name was Daryl, he was great. It would have been nice to been done in a week, not three weeks. It was a little expensive. It is working great now.
