  He came to look at the problem. Took pictures. put forth some ideas about how to fix the problem. Said he would get back to me with a quote in a couple of days. I have not seen or heard from him since. That was about a month ago.

  Blue Sky Tree Care

  Blue Sky has a good crew. They worked very efficiently and did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. They also took time out of their schedule to do several extra things for me. I would highly recommend these guys. They stay busy so expect 3-4 weeks before they get to your job. Another company gave me a six week wait.

  The Grounds Guys of the Midlands

  I contracted The Grounds Guys to take care of our yard (lawn and shrubbery) last Fall.  It was necessary to find a reliable contractor since we were then living out of state.  They did a great job.  We are now permanent residents of the property for which they were originally contracted to service.  I had  intended to do all the yard work myself once we were in full-time residence, but since they did such a nice job, we decided to continue using them.  There were a couple of times when their crew could have done a better job picking up the trimmings from the pruning and/or failed to edge the drive and beds, but they rectified that when I pointed it out to their crew the next visit.

  The Grounds Guys of the Midlands

  After several iterations on scheduling, we set up a a mutually agreed to time. Vendor arrived about 30 minutes late. He apologized for the late arrival. Individual was courteous and professional. He made one recommendation that I questioned regarding setup of the sprinkler controller. After reviewing the owners manual, he was incorrect in his explanation of how the controls worked. He was here about 30 minutes or less. In retrospect, I could have done every thing that he did in about the same time. Guess it was a fair value but probably will not do that again.

  Tommy's Lawn Maintenance LLC

  Work was very good and his prices were reasonable.  He did not return when he said he would even after calling him.  He was to put down weed and feed in April 2014 to prevent weeds from growing.  He did not come in April and we had to do it ourselves.  We felt after  that that he could not be counted on.

  Steve's team built a beautiful stone and brick fire pit just off of our deck, facing the lake.  We've used it multiple times now and absolutely love it.  Our landscaper was impressed with the masonry.  Steve also had a stone in the shape of SC that he put on the front of the pit for us. It was a really nice touch.  It was money well spent.

  DIVINE LIGHTSCAPES

  Tim came out to the house and set up a outdoor lighting display. He reviewed how he would set up, what he felt looked the best and explained in detail the lights he would be using. After talking with 1 other company, it was easy, I awarded Divine the business. Tim and his son spend two late afternoons and evenings setting the system up. After he finished he spent time with my wife and I reviewing each light and making adjustments until we were 100% satisfied. The final product includes ground up lighting, lights in gutters to catch all of the gables, path lighting on side / back of house, lights to hi light the water fountain and lights in beds to hi light the fire pit. A outstanding job and we are both very happen with the finished product. Give Tim a call, you will not be disappointed.

  MD Masonry LLC

  We have (4) dogs in our back yard, during the summer it is hard keeping them cool and with constant supply of fresh water.  I called MD Masonry to come out and offer suggestions on how to keep our furry family members happy.  They supplied a few estimates detailing the options that we could chose from.  We went with a water fall feeding a small lazy river opening up into a koi pond.  The contractor scheduled a time to start and explained all the steps involved with constructing our puppy oasis.  The project took about (4) days. I got some tropical plants and flowers to plant around the water feature and they didn't hesitate helping me place them in places that would look great and provide extra shade. When the project was done they removed all the extra stone and materials, so cleaning afterwards was not an issue. Our yard took on a transformation from a hot desert to a cool tropical haven, our dogs could not be happier and it eases my mind to know they have a way to cool off and a constant supply of water. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

  LOOKS LIKE RAIN IRRIGATION

  Initial response was timely and walk thru of job and discussion was helpful. The promised proposal and estimate was delayed a few days due to the party being out of town.  Estimate was detailed and addressed my needs.  I choose another firm based on price and Angie's list references.
