    BARBOSA CLEANERS
Barbosa cleaners went above my expectations. They sent 3 people to clean my house and they did an absolute marvelous job. The cleaners were so meticulous and my house smelled so fresh and clean. They will be handling my house cleaning needs biweekly going forward by far I had a wonderful experience.

    Palmetto Stone Magic LLC
I hired Ryan and PSM to repair my tile flooring on or about October 2018. I bought all of the materials and the agreed upon price for labor was $1600. I noticed very quickly that Ryan did not show up on time and tended to leave early on most days. On the final day (when the grouting was done, and you could actually see the lines) the new grout lines were not aligned with the existing grout lines by about a half inch. There were also humps that were so big,, you could stump your toe on them when walking. I discussed this with Ryan and he said that he would come back 8 days later and "fix" it by moving 3 tiles....I told him that would not work because when you moved those 3 then the next 3 would be out of line etc. etc. In a subsequent conversation over the phone, I told him it would all have to be torn out and redone and that I felt he should pay for the materials that I was already out of pocket for. He became belligerent, cursed me and hung up. I had to hire someone else, re-buy all materials and tear it all out and re-do it. I have pictures.....

    Quick Shine Mobile Detailing
The technicians did a great job on my car. There was 12 years of dirt and stains inside the car and they were able to remove all of them from the carpets and interior. From the convertible top to the wheels and windows everything was cleaned completely and the car had that new car shine again. They spent about 1.5 hours to complete the detailing.

    MH (Michael Heavner) Furniture Upholstery
I called the Salvage Shop and ask them if they could recommend anyone that sews and he was 1 out of 3 that I called.
I had called and left a VM and in the meantime
I called and spoke to a lady who worked out of her home and she changed her price right in the middle of the conversation..The other person didn't answer or return my call.
I also called a well known fabric upholstery place in Chester but they had moved and changed their name..The gentleman there said it would cost $25.00 a piece..
This company called me back..He had been out..I sent him a picture and right away gave me a price of 2 for $20.00 since all he had to do was replace the fronts. He also gave me a price for 2 large bar stools that had backs of $75.00..which was very reasonable. I'm still looking for the fabric to put on them. We corresponded through text messages.
He was FAST, EFFECIENT and did an EXCELLENT job at sewing these for me..I sew but I broke 3 needles trying to do it myself. I needed someone with n industrial machine to do sew for me.
I would definitely recommend..I will try to post pictures later. They look beautiful.

    Fresh Air Technologies, LLC
They did a good job. They took out the vents and cleaned them. They vacuumed. They had a vacuum that looked like a hot air balloon. They filtered everything and got all the dust and debris. They did a real good job. They vacuumed the dryer out as well. They ran a device up there that swirls around and cleans it before they vacuum. Then they went up into the attic and did the ducts up there. So they cleaned the individual units. They were very clean. I would recommend them.

Squeegee Pros Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing
I fell in love with Squeegee Pros about 2 years ago when I had them come out for a window washing.
Javier did an outstanding job. He took his time and was meticulous in making
sure I got what I paid for. There wasn't a speck of dirt for miles when he
    left.
Xavier arrived on time and began the window washing then the exterior wash. He quoted $150 to clean
the pool area and $125 for the main driveway. He said he could complete them
the same day. We added the pool shed for $25. The fence lining the pool was
included (later I found out this was not the case). A completion time of 1:30
was stated. I had to take my children to the Dr at 3 so that would work.
I didn't ask for any special pricing or extra discounts even though I gave them
    quite a bit more money.
Once the pool area was completed I asked about several large darker areas on
the concrete. He said those were stains and he had done the best he could. I
asked about the fence and he said he had washed the back of it and would get
the front where we were standing when he was done. It had the green algae
looking buildup on it. He asked if I wanted the large deck boxes and all of the
pool toys put back up or left in a pile in the mulch he moved them to. I asked
him to put back the large items. One deck box was put back; the other was left
outside the fence in the grass.
He moved to the main driveway area around noon. He had the driveway to
complete, the exterior window wash, the window jambs and replacing the screens.
At 2pm he was still working on the driveway. I needed to leave. I left an adult
at home with a check and tip for him. I assumed I would receive high quality
again from this company so I felt comfortable with this scenario. I left the Dr.
at 5 and called to check on him. He was just leaving.
When I arrived home I noticed strange "stain" patterns on the
driveway, pictured. It looked as if certain spots were possibly missed or not
cleaned as thoroughly as the others. Not the same as the pool area. He used a
square attachment to clean with. The "stains" have straight lines
down the sides of some of them and that concerned me.  Random stains I probably wouldn't have
questioned too much. I also noticed that the side porch Welcome mat was soaking
wet. I lifted it up to see that it hadn't been moved at all. There was a messy
wet pile of dirt under it. When I walked around to the front I noticed the bird
feeder that was on the window was on the porch with bird seed spilled all over.
I picked up a couple of things in that area and also noticed they had wet
messes under them as well. I came inside and checked the windows. They were all
sparkling and looked good. Once I lifted them I did notice lots of residual
dirt still inside the jambs and the corners hadn't been touched.  I
checked a few other windows and they all had the dirt left in the corners, some
had the residual dirt (pictured).  This
was not what Javier had done the first time. When I went outside to put all of
the pool supplies back I noticed the fence didn't appear to be washed at all.
Unsatisfied I called them the next business day, Monday. I said I wasn't sure
if something was missed and asked if she could she take a look at some photos of
the power washing and tell me if this is normal. I said I wasn't happy and
didn't see the value in the job. I was polite thee entire time. She asked me to
email the photos, which I did. The manager wasn't in that day but she would
have him review them and call me the next day. Tuesday I received an email
stating he was still out of the office and that she would call tomorrow.
Wednesday I received a note from her saying this was typical for concrete and I
would need to epoxy over it. She said the small stoop wasn't included in the
wash, I guess moving the mat wasn't included, and it was an extra service. The
messy fence was not priced as part of the pool area and it was a separate
service. The mess on the front porch was, you guessed it, an extra service. At
no point did I balk about the prices or turn down any of the extra services. I
would have paid for any of those had I known I needed to. I just wanted, and
still want a clean home exterior. Still unsatisfied with the work and now these
responses I attempted to reach out to the owner, Jim.
While looking over their reviews I did notice an interesting trend. No one
single issue seems to be "valid" according to the official company
reply. One even went over the line calling a person a hoarder and insinuating they
had an alcohol problem. Ending the review stating they would pray for them to
change their lifestyle (yikes). This honestly concerned me. Maybe I was out of
line but I gently mentioned to the owner that he might want to review his
company's responses.  I was even more shocked at his reply.
See the email correspondence below.  Please note the subtle reference to my not paying
for certain services (even though I thought I was paying) and the well worded ?your
    Angie?s List review doesn?t matter?.
I left out the beginning correspondence describing what is stated above so that all of the
    relevant responses would fit.

    Kimberly,
I spoke to my technician that was out there and my field manager and the
marks you see are in the concrete and won't come out with any further pressure
washing. The only way to make it look uniform would be to refinish it with
concrete epoxy. The front stoop is not included in the house washing and is
additional. He was not told to do the front stoop and he rinsed the fence down
    for no charge.

Thanks Ashley. I will update my Angie's List review with
the photos of your completed work as this sounds like what one might expect
after using your service. The front stoop was not the problem. It was just the
little walkway off the porch. I didn't ask him to do anything for free. When he
said the fence was included my assumption was it would actually be cleaned. I
am not satisfied with the results and my previous "A" rating will be
updated to reflect that. If I am not able to update I will leave you a new
    review.
    Thanks Again,

    Kimberly,
Give me a couple days to review your account with us including requested
services and issues and I will get back to you on that. As far as your comments in your
email regarding reviews, yes, I review and research each derogatory comment and
the job done and determine an assessment before I, my manager, or my technician
writes the review. No company is perfect in regards to technicians on staff and
customers aren't always honest either, but please keep in mind that every
single one of the negative comments were grossly exaggerated once investigated.
You would be absolutely surprised. The best ones are the one's that claim their
gutters were not cleaned and wait a month or two after 2 or 3 rains and storms
and then call complaining wanting their gutters cleaned again for free and we
better do it because they are an Angie's List customer. I find this interesting
because we offer a 2 week guarantee which is longer than any other company in
the region. It doesn't matter if they are an Angie's List customer or a
referral, all are treated with the same respect with no preferential treatment
because they are an Angie's List customer and the reviews will be what they
are. With that, 700 "A" ratings speak for itself and we have never
been busier. If we had no C's, D's, or F's then something is wrong with the
rating system and people would be suspicious, and we do not delete reviews. As far as
hoarders and alcoholics, my technician on site wrote it and yes, we tell it
like it is with our experiences with customers good or bad and I don't
apologize for that because they are truthful responses and other readers, like
yourself need to hear both sides and not just one.
    Thanks,
    Jim DuBois

Hi Kimberly. I wanted to make sure I got back to you to address your concerns.
    1. A front porch/stoop pressure washing
is not part of our house wash. That is a separate line item on our estimate
forms no matter how large or small. House wash includes anything vertical and
    no flat work.
    2. As I understand, you asked for a fence rinse at no charge. My technician did that for you and I apologize it
still had a spider web on it. It was not a paid for fence wash service with
chemical so the end result will not be as if you paid for the service. My
technician would never say it was included because they are paid on percentage
and every service we do has a paid line item. Not to say we don't do things for
free because we do: like an interior french door or two, mirrors in the home,
fan dusting, light bulb change, etc.
    3. The pictures I reviewed from the concrete pressure washing is common in many instances. I can assure you it is
clean but the concrete itself has different qualities when poured. Some are
very rocky while others are like a cream and the type of concrete as well as
the age does have a bearing on the end result when pressure washed. Concrete
will disintegrate too over time to a limited degree but that degree can have a look
that is not as appealing as intended.
I hope this sheds some light on your concern.
    Thanks,
    Jim DuBois

    Sewing Machine Sales and Service
My sister in law gave me her old counter top Singer machine because she purchased a new one.. The tension was broken to where it kept popping out. I thought it also needed a tune up so I called to see if they gave free estimates, since I lived 45 miles away. They did..I took my machine in and the son who ran the counter was very knowledgable of sewing machines gave me an estimate of $74.50 plus it could be a few extra for fixing the tension. He gave me a time for pick up the next week and he was right on target..His dad who has been in the business for all his life fixes them he told me. I received a phone call on my VM 1 day early from the dad who said it was ready and the price. When I went to pick it up today he told me all about my sewing machine, that I had a good one there..He cleaned it, fixed the tension and gave it a tune up. I was quite surprise when he did't charge me anything extra. He even carried it out to my car for meI will definitely go back for any sewing machine repairs in the future. I reccomend him if you want excellent service at great prices.

A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH CLEANING SERVICE
When I scheduled the cleaning, I explained to the office gal that we had a 3,000+ sq/ft  2-story home but we had already moved all our furniture etc. out and the house was vacant and would be easier to clean.  A nice man who spoke broken English came to our home by himself and we discussed what I wanted done.  I left and came back about 3 1/2 hours later and the man was gone.   I looked around the house and although it had been cleaned, it was by no means a deep cleaning.  I had to forfeit some of my cleaning deposit as well.  I did not contact the business office because the cleaning I got was probably worth the $89.00 I paid but not the deep cleaning that was advertised.

Squeegee Pros Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing
We were thrilled with the service from Squeegee Pros.  Javier was a bit late, but he was coming from a large job and he called to let us know when he would arrive.  Javier was friendly and extremely thorough.  He took great care throughout our home and our windows looked better than the day we bought the house.  Javier did such an excellent job that we will be using Squeegee Pros for gutter cleaning and other services in the future and we have already recommended them to our neighbors.  100% positive.

    Fantastic Maid
My experience stated out very well.  However, it was very misleading.  Each visit they give you a different price.  The last time she was here, I came home and some areas were not clean.  The policy is, you have 24 hours to call them and let them know what you were not happy with.  I called within the 24 hour period, and she told me she had cleaned that area.  I went on and told her, this time I would take care of it and clean the baseboards on my own.

Now they are telling me that they will not come out and service my home, because it is too far for them to drive.  They do not speak English and it is very hard to understand her.  On the brochure, it says they will travel anywhere.
