We had a very bad experience with another roofer that took advantage of us and made a mess of our roof. Mr. Lewis and his team gave us a great price and a beautiful new roof. He even took pictures of the roof step by step what they were doing up there so we could see what was being replaced and rebuilt. I was really impressed by their honesty and caring attitudes. FSteve Votta RoofingI knew Steve from a past job he did for someone on James Island approximately four years ago. He was prompt, a fair price and fixed the problem. I recently called him to review my issue which was a leaky skylight and new pipe collars. He returned my call the same day and came over the next day. He was very nice. I gave him a tarp and he placed it over the leaking skylight. I gave him my 1st old skylight I kept exactly like the one on the roof, he said it was a suntek skylight and he would get the exact replacement and be back in three to four weeks. This took place in early august of 2020. I waited until early September and gave him a call and left a message. He never returned any of my calls. I texted him several times explaining he left me in a tough position, not being responsive in the middle of hurricane season. He texted back saying he would call later. I waited several days and asked could you define later: hours, days or weeks? No response. I have never heard from him again. I say as a business if you are not interested in the job just tell the home owner. This is no way to run a business. I give him a capital F. This is no way to do a customer and there is no excuse for not calling. I live in goose creek and I am a member of Angie's list.- Dennis K.

ACarolina Home Sales and Construction, LLCBill took care of getting his crew to the job and came back and reviewed the job when they finished. I did not have to deal with any of the details or the workers. Believe me that was a blessing for a senior trying to get work done on the house. The roofing and cleanup took about two days total. AThe project went well from start to finish. Luis was very professional and accommodating regarding terms of contract. My entire roof was replaced within 2 days. I was very pleased with the roof it made my home look like a new house. Upon inspection once roof was completed there were 3 findings that occurred during the roof installation, 2 where minor damages that occurred to areas of house not related to roof and rain diverter was not replaced. Each incident was fixed/ replaced within 1-2 business days as promised.

FI did not see the written estimate and steve told me what was going to be done .That went well. I signed the contract and did not read the fine print which states that the home owner is liable for payments that the insurance does not pay for.After the job was complete I received the estimate which was outrageous so the insurance only paid a little over half.. A mechanics lien was delivered to my house saying I owed the remaining money which by the way they added interest because the first one I did not pay. Some of the things Steve was asking for the insurance paid for and other things they didn't pay. I filed a complaint with the Dept of Insurance so now I'm waiting to see what happens. I don't have the money to pay this so I have lost sleep and my nerves are shot over this.. Please find another contractor for your roof job and don't hire Shelley Custom Construction. I had Allstate as my insurance company. I was not in good hands with them either. This whole business transaction is a nightmare. Steve assured me that the insurance company would pay this.

AHe did a great job start to finish and the cost of repairs were fantastic. All debrees was cleans up and it was done in a timely manner. This is the first time I didn't have to chase someone down to complete the work promised. I have already set up work for him in the future. He was God sent because we were in a bad situation. He even came out on Sat to,look at the roof and had it fixes in less then 3 days including getting supplies needed. I would highly recommend him to fix your roof If you want quality and in a timely manner. Thank you Richard ( Henderson roofing) for an amazing job. God bless and have a great Christmas.

DCalled for appointment to get estimate. J.P. came when we agreed, inspected damage, and said he would email the estimate by that evening. Never received the estimate. Two weeks later, I contacted Deluxe Roofing again to determine if the email had gone astray. They told me they would be in touch, never heard from them again.
