AR & R Remodeling & RestorationRand R first impressed me by talking my language and not over my head. He also came well recommended by a good friend that is a roofing supplier. His exact words...."He is the only person that I would let build my house" Not only was he referred, but he has access to lots of contractors and said, Rand R. When Rand R said that my 91 yr old grandmother would have to be out of the house for 2 days and if it was inconvenient that she could stay with him and his with during that time.....Wow! Not only was the final work perfect, but a contractor with compassion like Mike Holmes on TV. That's what we all want from someone coming into your home. I knew and they delivered care,detail, and prompt work. Now I only wish I could find an auto mechanic like Rand R.- Albert E.

ADiscount RenovationsWe encountered some very cold weather which delayed the completion. While installing the garage door wrap they found termites which gave me the chance to call the exterminator. His crew was knowledgeable and their work was good. The job site was cleaned with all trash and debris removed. Overall, it was good work for a fair price. APowell Construction Inc.I thought I had a leaky (unsealed) window - which had soaked in and ruined part of the drywall near the window. Turns out that the window seal was actually the problem. William worked with the supplier to get a new window (under warranty) so all I had to worry about was the labor. The window was put in, the drywall cracks repaired, and the room was painted. They even got the door to finally close correctly by shoring up the joist under the room! It looks amazing! The kitchen pantry looks great, too. The only concern I had was that he sub-contracted the work to a cabinet guy - since the finish I wanted to match with the rest of the kitchen required sprayed paint. He picked the right cabinet guy to do the job - and the kitchen looks marvelous!- Dawn H.

In fact, I was impressed enough to ask them to do further work, shortly after their first fine job. So, this review also covers a recent 1/20/2013 job. They were very friendly, kept busy, and did excellent cleanup chores. The price for both jobs was very reasonable, and there were no unexpected charges. I felt like I was among honest reliable people and am planning on asking them for more help this Spring.- stu s.

DArrived on time for appt., friendly. Said he would get back to me with estimate, and that’s where the ball was dropped. Never came up with an estimate. I had to call several times before I got a call back. Received nothing but empty promises of getting any kind of follow up. Never did I get the estimate or any kind of reasoning why they were ignoring me. I am very disappointed in a Gutter Techs and their follow thru. Even if they were too busy and couldn’t fit me in, they should have been up front and honest about that instead of me having to continually follow-up for no follow-thru.

FAwful. WJA was sent by 2-10,Warranty so they were not my choice. For my $100 deductible I was told I needed a new hot water heater in spite of the fact that all the other hot water faucets in the house worked just fine. He adjusted (so he said) the adjustment screw in the shower and left quickly. When I stopped him from getting in his car after the hot water stopped again, he said “I’ve done all I can.” My home warranty company, 2-10 Warranty (stay away from them, too, by the way—especially Jennifer) wouldn’t help me find another plumber and denied my claim. I was left to find another plumber and paid him $500 to replace the faucet. If you read other reviews of WJA, you’ll see I’m not alone. Worst experience I’ve ever had with any company and I’ve built 3 houses!

AMy building turned out better than I could imagine. Vince was a true visionary and provided helpful suggestions as to the windows, floor plan and even wood trim. I incorporated all of his suggestions and they made a big difference to the over all appeal and trendy look of the boutique that I was trying to achieve. He is very easy to work with and despite my Type-A perfectionistic personality and he was very patient with me and professional. He made the entire process so easy. After the construction was complete on the building I was approached on several occasions by others inquiring about availability for their business. It was a great feeling considering the poor shape the building was in prior to the construction. Best suggestion is to get Elite Construction involved early in your project. And last, they worked with my budget.
