  The sales person and installers for Alder were professional and knowledgeable. They followed through as promised and were responsive to questions in a timely fashion. The estimate of power production they provided has been accurate so far and the system has been trouble free. All in all a very positive experience.

  BOGARDUS ELECTRIC

  We are new to the area and found Bogardus Electric on Angie's List.  Rob Bogardus stopped by our home that evening and estimated the cost, which we thought was reasonable.  He said he could start next week and arrived at 8:30 am the following Monday and was finished by noon.  He did a professional job, cleaned up after himself and charged us exactly what he estimated. He also worked on our dining room chandelier at no extra cost.   I plan to use Rob again for some future projects I have in mind to do in the next year.   Any guy who has worked on wiring military bases in Afghanistan can fix any any electrical problem you may have.
  P.s.   After he left I finally received a call back from another electrician who I had left a message with prior to contacting Bogardus Electric.

  AERUS ELECTROLUX

  The men that came to the house for service smelled of smoke so badly.  Even after they left, I could still smell smoke in my house.  
  They rescheduled too many times for me.  
  I had paid for a brand new vacuum and they gave me a refurbished one, so I demanded that they bring one out new vacuum that was with a true heppa filter because the refurbished one had a carbon filter, not heppa.  When they brought it, I finally had to hold the refurbished one as kind of hostage until I had all the items for which I had paid.  I don't like having to demand that I get the product for which I have paid.  It is a long story but I will not use them again.  
  Aerus products are life long, but the Savannah, GA store is shady.

  Eagle Electric

  I moved into my house on June 19th. Half of the outlets stopped working in my family room over the 4th of July weekend and a switch in the kitchen worked sometimes.  I called them on Saturday and left a message. They called me @ 9:00 am on Monday morning and were @ the house, fixed the problem and were gone before 10:00 am. The switch works all the time and all outlets in the family room are all working.  They were prompt, professional, courteous, very reasonable, I would recommend them to anyone and I would use them again.

  I do not have any other information to add, but I do feel that you have not been able to recommend service providers that have any reviews of their work in the Beaufort, SC area.  The other person I contacted , Clif Taylor Electric was very nice but when I asked if he came to Beaufort,he told me " he would rather not", but would give me another name.

  Kintz Electric

  Kintz Electric had been a subcontractor on the job when we added a master suite addition to the house in 2010 and had done a great job then so I wanted to use them for this small job since they were already familiar with the house and the electrical sub panel they had put in at that time. I called them a week before I needed the work done and followed up with an email that had the schematic specifics along with the date and time that we would be at the house. I got a call 2 days prior to the appointment confirming the day/time and confirming the work to be done along with specific questions around the type of kiln I was adding to confirm that it was to be a plug type outlet and not hardwired. They showed up early, worked quickly and cleanly and my kiln works as it should. We'll use Kintz again.
