    Dave Friedman Real Estate
This is my review for my experience with Dave Friedman Real Estate. My wife and I worked with Josh Finigan on the sale of our home in Summerville, SC. Only had one face-to-face with him ever and that was thru our initial meeting with him selling Dave Friedman Real Estate to us and why we should sign on with them. All other contact was via phone, text, or email. Got the house on the market and we quickly got multiple offers and accepted an offer within a week of listing. Home inspector comes thru, obviously they find a few things because the house is 25 years old. So, a repair addendum was sent over. A couple things that were on the report that the buyer's wanted repaired were done by us. The rest of the stuff we negotiated and reimbursed to them after closing. The negotiations were frustrating. Our realtor would take longer than we expected to respond, didn't seem he wanted to negotiate with the buyers and was only worried about scaring them away and losing the sale. During the negotiations, the buyers wanted to come see the house again. They were moving from Florida and decided to come to SC just to see the house again. They requested to see the house while they were here thinking it was OK. We're in the middle of packing, working and we also have a one year old. So, let's just say this is a little bit of an inconvenience. Josh said just let them see it. They drove all the way up from Florida. Well, just because you came up all the way from Florida without checking to see if you can indeed drop by, doesn't mean we have to let you see the house again. Another excuse was that the husband just got back from overseas and he hadn't seen the house yet. I called BS on that. We had a feeling it was because they wanted to have a closer look at the certain things that were on the repair addendum. We waited until the last minute to give them the OK to see the house again. And wouldn't you know it, they did check out certain items that were on the repair addendum. How do I know? I positioned certain items in a way that you would have to move it to look or get to a good position to view them. The buyers are idiots, their realtor is an idiot, and our realtor is an idiot. After all the home inspection and repair addendum stuff was agreed to we were nearing the end. We had already moved out, 14 hours away out of state. We were about 2-3 weeks from our closing date. We get a request to see the house again from the buyers. I think this was about one week from closing. We asked if this would be the final walk thru. Josh was really delayed and hesitant in giving us an answer. He even asked us why it was a big deal. Why were we so worried if they came to look again. We didn't want them in our house looking around unless it was the final walk thru. Yes, we were already gone but IT WAS STILL OUR HOUSE. Our name was still on the mortgage. Well, apparently it wasn't going to be the final walk thru because they rescheduled it for day before closing. Which was fine with us. Closing comes and goes and you would everything would be done and over with. Well, guess what. It wasn't. The repair addendum that we negotiated involved the buyers receiving a check at closing to cover the work that we didn't do. We were already gone and out of the state so we had a power of attorney handle everything for us. Well, this was overlooked and were contacted by the closing attorney's office and our realtor to send a check. Also, their was a HOA transfer fee that we had to pay that wasn't taken care of at closing. This all should've been caught in the weeks between the offer, negotiations, and closing. We made our concerns known before we sent the checks over and I hope they got the message. Well, a couple days later I guess the buyers were concerned or paranoid and had their realtor contact our realtor and wanted to know if there was a tracking number for the check we sent. All they asked us to do was mail it. They didn't require any tracking or mailing certificate. Josh kept asking us if we had one. We kept telling him we didn't as it was not required. He asked again and we told him we could just cancel that initial check and mail out another one and mail it with tracking. He didn't reply to that answer. Overall, I believe all he cared about was selling our house and making that profit. The negotiations Josh did were sub-par and he didn't seem like he had our best interest in mind. Yes, he was nice but when he needed to be ruthless he wasn't. He just needed to grow a pair. It seemed like he didn't want to bother negotiating and wanted to take the easy road to the end and make his money. I would not recommend Josh as a realtor if you're looking for someone who can be ruthless and have your best interest in mind and not worrying about just making money. If we were still in that area I definitely wouldn't go with Dave Friedman Real Estate again. Especially, Josh Finigan

    HORNE REALTY LLC
I was trying to get him to pay for some of the things that we've had to pay in this house that we bought from him. It was his mother's house and he was the real estate agent but he just totally lied. He covered up things and just lied. He did reap us off and when he put his whole marketing it was impeccably maintained house and you wouldn't think less about that except it's his parent's house. So you would think he would know, two, he said his mum had old timers and that she couldn't give us a disclosure and there was no disclosure. So we bought the house with no disclosure at the highest price and using what he said that it was impeccably maintained because I was stupid enough to believe him. It turned out that his mum doesn't have old timers and the house is not impeccably maintained and we spend $20,000 immediately to fix the drainage issues because there was water up next to the house. And he acted like he doesn't know anything about it, 'We don't know anything about water.' When we got mediation, the mediator tells us stupid stories about another water issue and how the one lady didn't perceive three inches of water as problem. From then on all of a sudden she didn't perceive the water as a problem. Everything is wrong with this house and they just walked with it and got away with it and when I called the board of realtors they wouldn't even call me back. I would never ever trust them on anything again because he just lied and she just agreed with him.

He has done a good job the first time. He came through a reference from somebody my wife knew. He is very professional. He is all the time doing something calling, making recommendations and he sets up all the appointments for the visits. He is there all the time. He is all the time looking to make the things that are important. He sold it when nobody else is selling houses, and he sold it for over I asked him for it.

We started our search for a realtor and we were overwhelmed. We decided to email the owner of a well known agency and he connected us with Brian. We had a different time line than most. My husband and I were set to leave on a deployment overseas. Brian met with us and got all of the details we wanted in a home. He showed us multiple houses, but we could not find one to make our home. We left for our deployment and Brian continued to search for us. He worked with my family also. With not being in the country we had to rely on Brian for eveything. Needless to say, Brian and my parents were able to find the perfect house! He guided us every step of the way, even after closing. He checked on our home after the closing and even swept our porch and changed seasonal decorations. We came back to the perfect home! He continues to keep us in the loop about the real estate in our neighborhood. He was VERY attentive, without being pushy. We cannot say how wonderful he made our experience!

    R & B PROPERTIES
Covenants were checked twice in 7 months and reminder letters were aggressive instead of friendly. Secretarial staff was unprofessional in emails and took to making it feel as if she was throwing tantrums rather than keeping a calm tone. Office was understaffed and unable to keep up with the contract requirements and finally they had to cancel the contract due to their inability to do as promised.

He was the reason I got my house.  We really liked him.   At first I was nervous about using an agent because I had one that was really bad.  I wasn’t going to trust this guy but he proved me wrong.  If he said he’d do something, he went above and beyond every time.    He was super professional.  We were looking at older homes and he asked us if we wanted to buy a new one.  We said we couldn’t afford it but we drove there anyway.  Before we even got there he had talked them down in price.  The house was offered at $148,000 and before we got there he had gotten them down to $142,000.  After we got done with the inspection he got them to drop the price down even lower and he had them throw in a garage door opening, a refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer.

    Karen Abrams Realtor Keller Williams
In a buyer's market, during a time when few closings were completed without problems on "closing day," I did back-to-back closings, selling my house and buying my dream house without a hitch, all thanks to Karen and the exemplary team she put together for me. Karen is the consummate professional - knowledgeable, committed to her clients and their needs, patient, willing to go the extra mile, and determined to make it work even if problems arise. My son and daughter-in-law are now using her to buy their first house and I recommend her without reservations to everyone who needs a fantastic realtor!

    CHUCK MOORE
All in all, it went terrific! This was our first time buying a home and we had lots of questions. Chuck answered every one of them. We have recommended him to all of our friends who were in the market for a home, and everyone was very surprised by Chuck's dedication and friendliness! He even helped one of our friends install ceiling fans in a house they'd just bought off of him! I never thought I would ever be so satisfied with a Realtor, but now I'm proud to call Chuck a friend! Absolutely top rate Realtor!
