    They’re good. Their professionalism, I don’t have anything to do with that. The only thing that I have a problem with them about is my prescriptions and different things have gone up so much.

    They last I was there I had a male nurse. He had an attitude a mile long and he did not set up the IV correctly for a blood transfusion. You should have seen my hand 2 weeks later, it was swollen and the colors of the rainbow.

    It was beautiful and very quiet.  Everything is behind closed doors, including the nurses station. Since it was built as a resort, I was in a big room, and fountains were everywhere. I got tremendous treatment. The bed was uncomfortable, but that was about all.

    They're efficient, friendly and you don't have to wait too long. The people are getting their medication the next day and they're pretty good on that. They also have a drive thru and it's great. The staff also accommodating and they work hard.

    The coverage is pretty expensive, but all insurance is these days. Even with higher premiums from what I was paying with my old insurance co, we still ended up paying about $3,000 less for the delivery of our baby than we would have otherwise. The deductible is much lower as well. I have already called a couple times regarding medical bills I received and they were able to assist me and explain that the claim was not submitted correctly and once it was corrected my bill was cut in half.

    Blue Cross Blue Shield has a good program with their online explanation of benefits. Access to my information is very easy and always available to me. Agents are very willing to speak with you on the phone to help you understand charges. I do wish that the coverage was a little better, Especially for dental preventative care. I also wish my deductible was not required to be met by at least two individual people. When a family has one person that utilizes the health insurance benefits a lot, and other family members don't, as is the case in my family, it takes a tremendously long time to meet at the deductible, and subsequently requires me to pay more out-of-pocket and I think I should. Overall the coverage and the company are pretty decent.

    They're the ones that when they took their x-rays, they said it was just a hernia and it shouldn't be hurting. They didn't give me no prescriptions for pain. They said they were going to give me a shot before I left, for pain, and the nurse never came in. But they pretty much told me that it was nothing. The way I felt was like they were almost saying quit being a baby, it's a hernia, lots of people get hernias. I've been there before and had bad experiences as well. The place is clean. The doctors, themselves, seem very professional in the way they project themselves. You think you're the best help. I can't say it was all the doctors because I've been there quite a few times. I think maybe I just got a bad doctor that day. One bad doctor can change your thoughts on it. It just seems like the professionalism and how the bedside manner and everything each visit is getting a little less. It's like they don't have that top standard. I don't like to really put anybody down. I would probably tell people about my experience there and let them go on their own. I would probably say maybe I just got a bad doctor. It's right down the road from me but I won't go there anymore. I would rather die than be sent to Trident.

    Overall, my experience with them was wonderful. I tell my husband if he ever comes home and I need emergency care that that's where I want to go. Trident is right down the road from me but I will not go there anymore. Here it was, they took me in immediately and Trident was acting as if it was nothing. MUSC pretty much as far as I see it saved my life. First off, it's a learning hospital and it doesn't bother me that other people are coming in because they need to see the different things that can happen to people when it happens. It does not bother me for students to be watching. Also, the doctors are wonderful there. Even the nurses were constantly checking on you and making sure you're comfortable. If you beep that bell, you didn't have to beep it like fifty times before somebody came. Overall, it was a very clean hospital. The people were really friendly, very professional, and I think it was a wonderful hospital. That's the only hospital I'll use. I'd rather die if I was going to be sent to Trident.

    I went there because they have a knee and hip unit. The experience went wonderfully. Even before I had the surgery, they had me go to the hospital for a sort of seminar and they told us what was going to happen and how we were going to see it go and that we would be in a ward or in a room, probably by ourselves because of the pain level. And then they explained exactly what was going to take place during the surgery. It was about three hours long. The hospital and the staff were absolutely first rate.

    We like the fact that it is a very progressive hospital and it is very close to us.  The doctors are definitely excellent.  The care they provide has been wonderful so far and it just continues to be as positive as it has been up to date.  We never had problems with their availability.  They are a hospital so getting things done in a timely basis is a little bit different.  The staff is very friendly.  They are very, very nice people.  We never had any problems there and we never had to go back to them with any concerns.  We are going to continue using them until we have beaten the cancer.
