    Affordable Handyman and Painting Services
They did a great job with all the items we had them work on. I would definitely utilze their company again in the future if the need arises. Their work was professional and timely. I would highly recommend them to anyone that requires handyman services around their home that they are not able to complete themselves.

    Handyman Connection of Charleston
I have used Handyman Connection for three jobs now and couldn't be more pleased. My front door needed to be replaced and Mark, the carpenter, did a fantastic job taking out the old door and fitting in the new one. I will be calling for more work to be done in the future.

    Dale's Handyman Service
Dale did a phenomenal job. My family has never been treated with such courtesy by any person, in any category of business. Dale did professional work on this job, and he didn't stop until the work was done to our satisfation. All the while he was gracious, friendly, and efficient. What else can I say? Hire the man!

    Better Windows 4 Less LLC
I dealt directly with Kevin Stubbs and as a single female who doesn't know a lot about this type of thing he made sure I felt comfortable in everything that I had purchased and kept me up to date on the progress and what to expect. I was more than happy with the work that was done and he's even checked back to make sure I was still happy with the work.

price was higher to repair than buy new $118.00New panel would take 6 weeks shipping and handling. Paid $140.00 because they said 3 days for repair, took over a week. Glass was good but top corner of metal frame was a little bent and chewed up.

    HIS Handiwork LLC
Ross did a great job. He is a true handiman and we were extremely happy with his work. His estimate was higher, but he is knowledgeable and had ideas for fixing the windows and doors that other companies did not suggest. They were very neat and tidy with their painting work. The only complaint would be the little paint shavings that were left behind from scraping the old paint away. Besides that, the work was done professionally and on time. We hope to use him again for future projects.

    Trainum Brothers Glass Co
The brothers came out and evaluated my triple panel sliding glass door.  The seal was broken in one panel and it was milky white.  The other two panels were aged.  I thought I was looking at replacing the whole unit.  They recommended just replacing the glass since there was nothing wrong with the rest of the frame.  They measured, came back twice and worked on the project until it was just right. I'm very happy with the new glass and they saved me a lot of money! I would highly recommend Trainum Brothers!

    St. John's Building Consultants

The $249 deal doesn't include materials, which they state up front.  In my naiveté, it never occurred to me that they wouldn't have the materials with them that were needed to repair the damaged windows.  Two guys arrived about 30 minutes late, but couldn't start the work since I didn't have the materials on hand.  The only place that carried the correct materials was 25 miles away in downtown Charleston, so they called the owner and had him pick up what was needed.  Of course, I had to pay for the materials, and the owner's travel time, as well as his time at the materials facility.  In the meantime, the 2 guys were willing to do other things (I had the 2 of them for 4 hours, not 1 guy for 8 hours), so I asked them to do some cosmetic repairs around a door frame, fix a dead electrical outlet, and repair an electrical switch that wasn't working properly.

The door frame looks a lot better, the dead outlet now works properly, but the electrical switch is not wired correctly.  Instead of the 2 switches going to 2 different things (a pool light, and an outside pole light), 1 switch now turns both on, and the other does nothing.  I called the owner and explained to him, and he said it was probably a faulty switch from Lowe's.  He offered to come back and fix it, and I told him he did not need to make a special trip.  He insisted that he would be in the area soon, and since it was on a porch, I didn't need to be home for him to swing by and fix it.  I did not hear from him again, but then, I could have called him again and haven't.

The original project - repairing the 2 windows - was completed within the 4 hours, and it appears to be a good job.

The reason that I would not use them again is this:  I do not feel that I am capable of determining needed materials and purchasing them to have on hand for the contractor/handyman.  Secondly, this contractor is a licensed builder, and is somewhat more expensive than your everyday handyman, which is pretty much all I need.

    Affordable Handyman and Painting Services

Went great, as prior phase did.  managed to adjust his schedule to accommodate re-decorating guest bathroom and upgrade front doors and shutters, before family company arrived.

We're already making a new list for the next go-around.  Running new dedicated electrical circuits, upgrading dual to quad receptacle boxes and more.

We trust David with our house, and our two basset hounds!
