    Oil service performed as promised. My only issue is that my car had run fine for 10 years, with regular maintenance and care, until this visit. Within 2 hours my transmission started making horrible noises and I had the car towed to a REAL transmission shop to limit damage. Transmission work was $2800. I can't prove the mechanical failure was related to my oil change, nor was I dumb enough to accuse anyone of "breaking my car" and I am NOT saying an oil change was related, however I DON'T believe in coincidence and I do believe in cause and effect. I also believe that by dropping a car while on a hydraulic lift and/or ramming the gears by accident, and not telling the customer and hiding your mistakes is so unprofessional. My "normal wear and tear" was stressed from something that occurred. I think shops that go and pull wires, take out filters, and "fiddle" with everything under the hood, on every make of car, are most surely not qualified to do these activities and #2 taking a huge risk of breaking something and passing 100% of that risk onto you. Instead of "if it ain't broken don't try to fix it" policy they plunder around, take off your tires, etc. etc. trying to find something else to charge you for, and the whole time making you wait longer for this "courtesy check" , and not giving you the option to deny such activities, and truly is a terrible practice. I am not sure why I ever went there to begin with except for that consistent COUPON mailer. It's time for these guys to reevaluate their purpose and start over. I wouldn't trust this shop to even put air in my tires, a $2800 bill stings a lot.

    I called to have them do some work on my cart by replacing the batteries, doing a brake job, and adding a battery meter. I specifically passed to the lady on the phone to have them call me when they were going to start the repairs so I can add some more stuff to it. When the driver came, he was completely reckless and pulled my golf cart onto his trailer and literally rear ended another cart and just left it that way. He seriously looked at me and said, "It's only a golf cart." 3 weeks go by and no one calls so I call and get the same lady on the phone again. She tells me that they hadn���t even started the repairs, but assured me that someone would call. Then the next day and completely out of nowhere without a phone call or anything the delivery driver shows up with my cart to tell deliver it and tell me it���s all done. He unloads it and I take it on a test drive. I immediately notice something���s wrong when I go to stop and the cart just continued to roll even with the brake to the floor. So I then call them to send it back and he comes back out to get it. They keep it for another 2 weeks until I called them. Sure enough, the lady on the phone tells me that their tech is out test driving a cart but assured me he would call when he got back. Well guess what, no call at all. Then today while it���s pouring rain outside, their delivery driver calls to ask if I was home. I told him I was but would take delivery of my cart at a later date because of the pouring rain. He then tells me that he���s already out in the rain with my golf cart and that he���s already driven through several rain storms. So now they���re bringing me back a soaking wet golf cart after having to send it back a second time. The golf cart was newer and garage kept its entire life. They bring me back a rusted out golf cart with a car on the body of the golf cart underneath the seat and now has rust on every bolt and screw on the golf cart to include severe rusting underneath the rubberized floor of the golf cart. The driver then tells me that they have no place to store golf carts on site and that its policy to leave customers golf carts outside in the rain. Not only do I have a golf cart that is completely rusting out, I now have a golf cart that has been wrecked in both the front and the rear due to their drivers negligence. No joke!! He seriously said that most of their customers drive them in the rain all the time so he figured it wouldn���t make a difference. Seriously!!!!

    2009 Hyundai Santa Fe had an intermittent electrical issue with speedometer, fuel gauge and A/C where they stop working after driving for 1 hour or so. Vehicle was dropped off with the details above and left for a week as we were going out of town for a funeral. We called several times for updates and talked to the receptionist. She stated that the car had been driven once for 20 min and the problem had not occurred. We asked to speak to service manager and were told that he would call. Never heard from him. Called again the next day, spoke with the receptionist again and again asked to have the service manager call. We reminded the receptionist that the car had to be driven at least an hour before problem occurred and we were willing to pay for the additional time involved. Service manager never called back. Waited over the weekend and upon returning to town, called for status. Talked to receptionist again - found out that car had been driven a total of 2 times but only for 20 min at a time and that tech had decided that problem was untraceable / unfixable. Where do you go if the experts don't want to spend the time to find the problem. The issue has happened to me again for the last two days since picking up the car. Thanks for nothing!

    I felt a need to write another review after my last few visits to Honest-1, "home of the honest mechanic." My last two visits have had to do with some object embedded in my tire, resulting in a flat, and each time this has happened, I've called in and been greeted by Skye, the manager at this location. Each time, she told me to come in immediately and they'd get right on it, without hesitation, and without telling me it'll be a long wait or would involve buying a new tire. The technicians were able to plug the tire each time, and cost me less than $12 each time. A new tire would be well over $100, not to mention the labor cost, but this was only a last resort if they couldn't plug or repair. Skye greets me by name whenever I arrive, whether it's for these situations or for my usual oil change. I truly believe that every mechanic shop needs someone like Skye running the show, because of her personality, knowledge, and the way that she treats her customers. As long as she continues to answer the phone when I call, I'll be a loyal Honest-1 customer (the guys all do great work too, so that helps).

    Well came to get a tune up first he lied saying they couldn't tell me what was wrong bc my check engine light was not on. So brought it bk and they where able to tell me what was wrong then after a day was wasted now he telling me at the end of the next day he fixes in the morning. Morning came nothing was done, didn't get started to around 2pm which they close at 6pm he was finish at 6:30 and gonna tell me who ever work on it before broke of the dis. Cap now my car has another problem which didn't have before I came in. I just paif and got my truck out of there.

    The last time, my truck was extremely clean. When I picked up my truck, there was oil stains on my paint. You can see where they used their dirty hands.My oil was changed but there was little things like oil handprints on the side of my paint which I did not like. It was covered under my warranty. They did what they had to do. It was just the messiness with the oil is with the mechanic.

    NIGHTMARE! Lakewood Auto Inc. Put a new re-manned engine in my Classic 1991 Car. -After engine work. Towed 4 times bad work. -Lakewood Auto was then driving my car without permission. WRECKED MY CAR DID NOT TELL ME THEY WRECKED MY CAR. THEN TRIED TO HIDE DAMAGE BY GLUING AND SPRAY PAINTING, LIKE I WOULD NOT NOTICE!. They did extensive damage to front end, drive shaft, frame of car; and all that goes along with it. Then Did a lot of damage to the interior and exterior when they took it to a BBB "D" rated body shop. Supposed to replace WHOLE exhaust. Did not. It is mostly original and the chopped and pieced. Hitting frame of car. Spent and PAID LAKEWOOD close to $7000.00 to have them do what will cost $16,000 to $18,000 to repair or more because of the frame. Took me 8 months just this last time to get my car back, and an attorney. Chet and this "Scrappy" would not give me my car. Now I have MAJOR ENGINE PROBLEMS AS WELL. Oil coming through breather - BAD SEALS - misfiring, busted engine motor mounts, ELECTRICAL and more. Throughout, would not answer calls and to why their work would take months. Did not take to body shop I specified, wrecked damage not fixed. Just to keep car running it has cost me over $600.00 for some of that wrecked damage. Personal items were all stolen out of my car. Floor mats stolen out of back, parts broken - stolen ...when tried to get my car "this D rated body shop" had POLICE tell me I was Trespassing. Chet Dewitt said, "I'll just wait on a lawsuit." Took another four months and there was even MORE Damage done to my car. So, from May 2015 to December 2016 I only had my car for 2 months! I did take thousands of pictures and videos whenever I saw my car (Even before police kicked me off "Chet's buddy" Scrappy's shop. The OWNER of Lakewood Tamara Dewitt's answer to their wrecking my car..."You should just scrap it, over and over or just sell it to a junkyard for scrap." Then Chet Dewitt has the audacity to office $500.00 for my car they DESTROYED! BEWARE!! They are not as they seem to be. AND They ARE NOT ON ASE LIST OF CERTIFIED MECHANICS! in spite of having Big Sign displayed on shop property and paper Lakewood floor mats." They quote one price and charges are (in my case) $600.00 to $1000.00 MORE for same "work" quoted. THIS IS ALL ONGOING FOR 2 YEARS AND STILL CANNOT DRIVE MY CAR MORE THAN A FEW MILES

    Terrible! :( As the mother of the son, I was told that the squeal was due to a bad bearing on the alternator. I went ahead and told them to replace the alternator for $288. They said the squealing noise was fixed. On the 3 minute drive home, the car started squealing again. We returned in the morning and told them that it was not fixed. They then told us that it needed a new water pump. $300 later, we had a new water pump and alternator. They assured us that it was working. We didn't leave the parking lot because it was still squealing. My husband went in on the 3rd day, and they replaced the belt and tightened it. Guess what? The squeal is gone. I don't even know if we needed the alternator and water pump. They tried to charge us another $158 for the belt tightening today, but my son said NO. I feel like if you're a woman or a teenager, they're going to take advantage of you. Stay away.
