    Fletcher's Auto bod and Collision
    in the last week I would give zero stars but that was not an option! Car towed to Fletcher's following an accident. Substantial damage to front end. Around two weeks in the owner told me of a slight bow in the frame that he assured, with 30 years experience, they could get it out. Days later I called them and was told that they were good to go, just waiting on a part. More days past, I called and was told the part kept being forgotten to be placed on the truck for delivery. They were frustrated as I and would look into it. Couple days later, I called again, mentioned that Christina was not returning my calls, so Chris offered to find out what was up and call me back. He DID call me back but the story of my part had changed. It was backordered and would not be in until Oct 17. On the 16th, Christina called me to inform me that there is another supplemental estimate being submitted to insurance, why, because they COULDN'T STRAIGHTEN THE FRAME!!! I thought it was a joke! This was a done deal, minus one part!!! The frame again?!? So I called my insurance, they looked into it and after a couple days got back to me that my car is going to be a total loss!! When I went to pick up my license plate, the owner apologized, told me the guy who was supposed to be able to straighten my frame was no longer with the company and that he should have been able to do a better job on it. They had my car for 32 days, strung me along with lies and did not return phone calls as promised!!! In short, they had my car for 32 days during which I was lied to and otherwise jerked around. I will tell anyone who will listen to my experience with Fletcher's Auto Body in Summerville, SC, 408 Old Trolley Rd. In the hope that they may avoid going through the same!!

    They contacted us to make the arrangements. They arranged for the rental car company to pick us up at their shop. We received a text everyday with the status of our vehicle. Our car repair was finished a day ahead of schedule. We were able to leave the rental car there for pickup. Communication was great. Repair was excellent. It could not have gone smoother from estimate to completion. We would definitely use them again.

    Gerald���s Tire and Brakes
    My brother , a service member, flew in for a visit. He took our car there because we told him there was a very slow leak on 1 tire. After 2 1/2 hours, they told him all done, no charge. A week later, and each week since, we have to add air. Thanks for wasting his precious free time. I took it to a different shop and they showed me a bent nail that was in sidewall. How could they miss it? By not bothering to look.

    My wife and I each own a Mazda 3s. I had taken my car to Stokes several years ago for an oil change and was not impressed. The service writer tried to pressure me into agreeing to a valve cleaning that was not needed and they did not do the usual complimentary inspection. They also left a fastener off of the shroud under the car. I decided never to return.
    Last year I received a mailer indicating that the service department was under new supervision so I thought I would try them again for another oil change. The service writer, Heather Strange, was very helpful, the work was performed in a timely manner, and I found no cause for complaint. Since that time I have taken both of our cars back for oil changes and have been very satisfied with the results. Each time I have dealt with Heather and she has been extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. I do most of the maintenance on our cars myself and I have found Ray in the parts department to be equally helpful.
    I cannot comment on the quality of major repair work at Stokes but in my limited dealings with them they have turned my initial poor opinion of them around 180 degrees. I would be willing to take our cars to them for any work that I could not perform myself.

    I was rear-ended and went to Norton Richardson on recommendation of my dealer for repairs.  The other party's insurance company paid.

    Alan and Todd were very personable and explained in detail the work that would be done. Scheduling had to be done about a month in advance as they are very busy but after I took the car in, I was able to pick it up in a matter of just a couple of days and they handled all correspondence with the insurance company.

    The job they did was outstanding!  I would certainly use them in the future!

    It was outstanding. They ran across some issues, and they got a hold of me quickly and fixed the additional problems. They finished the car the same day they said they were going to finish it. It was a good experience. The workers were pleasant and helpful. They were good at explaining the technical aspects of the repair.

    Precision Tune Auto Care
    Store was packed but the man at the reception counter said he could get me taken care of within 30-45 minutes.  I was expecting 90 minutes or so when I walked in.  I walked across the street to Public to get something and came back and my car was in the bay already.  I was done within the 45 minutes that they told me.  Also the young man working behind the counter was very friendly.  Also listened to him talk to other customers who had far more serious problems with their vehicles than I and he did not recommend the most expensive options.  He gave them the most mechanically important fixes first (I do know a bit about mechanics, just don't like changing oil).  I will continue to bring both of my vehicles here as long as the service, cost, and staff remain the way they are.

    Shop was very busy, but all employees were professional and assisted customers with good humor and courtesy. Price quoted was what was charged. Never fun to pay for car repair, but Gerald's staff works hard to earn repeat business. Recommended.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
    No problem with the service but - this is the third time I've had service performed at this store.   First time I was told I needed a new battery - pretty heavy pressure to purchase.   Second time in - again need a new battery and also new windshield wipers.  This time the battery was fine and no mention of the wipers either.   So which is it?

    Jim's Towing and Transport
    Tony (wrecker driver) was prompt and professional.  He showed consideration for my car even though it was an older model vehicle.  The car was delivered and even maneuvered into a garage at the end of a narrow meandering driveway. I would recommend Jim's towing highly.  Very satisfied.
