    J&M Moving and Storage
In August 2016 J&M Moving of North Providence Rhode Island moved all my belongings from Natick MA into storage. I moved to a furnished condo in South Carolina and in February 2017 I called J&M to bring my furniture to South Carolina. In March a load arrived although the carrier had no help, and I had to hire someone to help him move my belongings. Much of my furniture was missing. I called J&M. They sent another load 6 weeks later and indicated that a top had come off a container with much of my fine china a crystal. I was never told this although I was present for the entire move. J& M arranged for another carrier to ship my fine goods. They arrived IN A CARDBOARD BOX even though I had packed everything carefully in a hard sided enclosure. Pictures of my broken items are shown later. Much of what was broken was priceless 19th century china. J&M paid a china claim but I believe it was because they put in a claim against the other carrier. I was still missing half of an oak vanity and a large container of horseback riding gear worth a great deal of money. J&M do not answer my phone calls or respond to my requests. The attorney generals office in Rhode Island has not responded to my complaints. I received a short email saying they did not know whose jurisdiction this falls under and were investigating this.

    Plantation Moving and Storage
They were very nice and very responsive, especially when we had to move up the loading date due to Hurricane Irma. However, they forgot to bring shrink wrap for the upholstered furniture but assured me that they would wrap it at the storage facility. I stressed that it was important because the furniture was going to be in our garage for a while. They did not wrap it so now it sits unprotected.

    ACE Preferred Inspections, Inc
ACE Strikes again... costs of errors and omissions approaching $10,000. Since my last review, a mold, snake, and insect breeding ground was located under my front stairway and the outside door opener for the garage was found to be unusable. Both my electrician and my pest control contractor said that the inspector should have seen the under stairway problem, and the corrosion and broken wires in the garage door opener had, quite clearly, never been tested.

    Tideline Moving
Totally the best moving experience ever... first task was to help us stage out home for sale by packing and moving several disposable items to good will, habitat and consignment. When our house sold, Joseph handled our move in three stages to accommodate our office and personal needs. His helpers were courteous, helpful, and tireless. Moving sucks... Tide Line was a bright light in the process.

    ACE Preferred Inspections, Inc
I bought a new home in January. It was built (in 2008) for personal occupancy by a well known builder, and tenant occupied at the time of the sale. Everyone associated with the sale knew that the tenant would be there indefinitely, while we attempted to sell our old home. (In this price range, 100 days would have been a miracle) We were able to negotiate a minimal adjustment for the few issues our ACE Preferred Inspections professional was able to identify.... but the report said several things were not looked at thoroughly because stuff was in the way, or "it couldn't be determined". (It took me about 3 minutes to figure out how to get onto the roof.... if only the inspector had made the effort) Nine months later, imagine my surprise when some water dripped on my head while delivering a few boxes to the screened porch. With complete access to our new home, we discovered several problems that were apparently "hiding in plain sight" at the time of the inspection. Looking out the third floor office window with my "roofer" was an "OMG" moment, even before we stepped outside to remove years of debris for a closer look. One section of the roof had "cratered", with no solid wood to be found.... $6,000 and several rafters later, the roof was fixed. One would think that a 20 year experienced professional would have seen the problem as readily as I did... but then he had missed the stained wood on the screened porch and the rotted-out trim on the door, no longer capable of holding the screen in place. Oh, that's right, he missed that too and a four inch hole in the screen along the outside of the room. Jeffrey Donaldson, of ACE, has offered me a free Home Check Up as compensation for this and the other problems I brought to his attention.... like the closet door handle that came off in my hand the other day, or the buried downspouts and overflowing gutters that probably led to the roof problems in the first place. Yesterday, it was the frond door handle that fell to the ground. I suppose the two warped and unclosable doors in the basement were in perfect condition at inspection time as well. Think hard before you hire these people to do your home inspection?

    Movers & Groovers
Extremely well. The movers -- Frank, Taylor and Derrick -- were professional, courteous, good humored and very efficient. Everything was moved carefully for a good price. They did both packing and the move itself. We retained the storage unit separately. We'll use them again after the house is complete.

    Big Movers LLC
Had to reschedule packing day then they were late then all of these random guy showed up with the owner one being his father to do the moving and a couple of guys that unclear if they were in high school or what and then one guy that was really really awesome . Not very good at packing organizing and therefore my house ended up with most of the boxes for storage my storage ended up with a lot of boxes that were supposed to be in the house started at 7:30 AM and didn't finish till 11:30 PM with a whopping extra thousand dollar cost. Unfortunately the guy on Angie's list that has more stars than him and Columbia I should've used even though he works quite a bit more an hour his professional demeanor and willingness to talk to me to help me make a decision was going far beyond his duties he was unable to help me because he took a job in Myrtle Beach that day . Well worth the money to pay somebody like him I just wish I remember the name of his company maybe I'll try to put it on later but he was **** smart educated and prompt with response and very honest very hard to find in moving companies .

    Holy City Home Inspections
Really great working John. He was flexible with last minute schedule changes and completely thorough with the inspection, explaining what he was checking and why. The inspection report is very well laid out and easy to follow. If you're looking for a home inspector, I can't recommend him enough.

    Number 1 Home Inspector
This is the second time we have used Michael at Number 1 Home Inspector. He is VERY thorough with the inspection! His pictures the first time we used him proved helpful in getting a discrepancy resolved. We would gladly work with him again.

    Number 1 Home Inspector
Very thorough. Took moisture measurements in all affected areas from a recent water leak. Went over everything with us during his inspection, and then summarized all findings with us at the end of his inspection. Answered all questions we had for him. Had his final inspection report emailed to us within 3 hours after finishing the inspection. Would definitely use again.
