    I called in reference to a gear case leaking oil in my washer. I was advised to consider buying a new washer as the repair come close to a new one. I decided on the repair. Wesley F came out and took my washer completely apart. There was NO way I or any layman could repair this ourselves. He figured everything out, changed out the gear case, re-assembled the entire washer, tested it, calibrated it and I am back to normal. Wes is trained very well and explained what he was doing. The repair took two hours and I am impressed with his professionalism. I will keep an eye on the washer. I have a 30 day warranty on his work which is great for me. I have washed several loads of laundry and there are no leaks. Thank you Sloan Appliance for having Wesley F. represent your business. I will recommend or use Sloan Appliance in the future.

    Mr Woodlief did a fantastic job on two different ocacasions fixing both a clothes dryer issue, and later on a water-line issue to my refrigerator. He is well spoken, very prompt, courteous and charges very fair prices, as opposed to a lot the typical "yellow pages" contractors. He comes highly recommended!

    The repairman was professional and friendly. I was told he would arrive between 2 - 4pm. He called at 2, when leaving his previous appointment and he arrived within 20 minutes. Very prompt. He figured out the problem and had the replacement fuse with him and was on his way.

    They diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. They were called out to repair 3 other Samsung refrigerators that week. They not only replaced the broken part on my refrigerator, but they replaced the same part that had been breaking on the other refrigerators at no extra charge. I would recommend them to anyone!

    Initially, Kenny came out to service one of our stove burners. While here, he also took a look at our freezer and ice maker. He had to order several parts to get them all working correctly and he promised to come back as soon as the parts came in. True to his word, he came back and replaced the parts charging us for only one trip charge. Kenny is friendly and more than fair. He advised us to replace our dishwasher rather than to pay him for repairs. We would gladly call him again!

    Since my washer was only 4 1/2 years old, they got these parts for me from Maytag without charge and had them on the truck when they first came out. After they diagnosed that these two parts were the problem they were able to exchange them right there and then. My cost were the diagnostic and labor or the exchange but didn't get charged for the cost of parts.

    Mr. Urban arrived on time and was very thorough. He was very knowledgeable and courteous in answering my questions. After putting the machine through different cycles, it was determined that it was my error with the detergent tray. While Mr. Urban could have charged for parts I did not need, HE DID NOT. He is a very, very honest and trustworthy guy! We will definitely call Quality Appliance Repair and Service for any future issues with our appliance. Thank you Quality Appliance for providing such quick, responsive and honest service.

    Handy Appliance Repair
    Contacted Kenny Smith with Handy Appliance and made an appointment to see if it was worth repairing my washing machine or replace it. He came earlier than expected. Very nice gentleman. He looked at my washer and told me what the problem was and quoted a price for a new part. He said he had a used part at a lower price so I went with that. It came with a one year warranty. He fixed it within 30 minutes. He put everything back in place and was very neat.

    First contact was great.  It all went downhill from there.
    It was 6 weeks from the time the tech was here until my husband called to inquire about the return service call to replace the parts.  He was told one of the parts was on backorder.
    The next day Assurance called us to ask if they could come out and take a picture of our control board so they could order the right part. 
    Apparently "backordered" and "not ordered" are synonyms.  I did not know that.
    After another month of waiting and hearing absolutely not a peep from Assurance, my husband called again.  That was today, February 1st.
    He was asked a series of questions about our refrigerator and then put on hold for 10 minutes.  A different person came on the line, asked him the exact same series of questions, and then put him on hold again.
    My husband waited for 20 minutes on hold before he was disconnected.
    To say this has been a frustrating experience is putting it mildly.
    We have had an open service call with these people for over 3 months with no communication from them about when we might be able to wrap things up.
    And when my husband calls to ask them, he gets hung up on. 
    I would not recommend Assurance to anyone - let alone someone who might want an actual functioning appliance within a year's time.
