    Sisk Landscape Company Inc
I cant say enough about Steve and Sisk Landscaping. Steve is a professional who takes his time paying attention to detail. He is SO knowledgeable about not only landscaping but has so many other things he can advise you on. He listens to his clients and executes their vision.

    Owens Chimney Systems
Contractor was pleasant to work with.  They were timely and professional and were much more knowledgeable about the situation compared to the roofers who worked around the chimney. I was impressed.  The only thing I was not impressed about was the cost of the fancy heavy duty monster chimney cap but that is not their fault.  The manufacturers need to drop the price, ha ha

    Thomson Masonry Inc.
I called on a Thursday afternoon. Mr. Thomson came to complete the job the next morning at 9:00 am prior to his leaving for a weeks vacation. Personable, professional and charged us $100 which was ridiculously inexpensive for the service. Most contractors wouldn't even accept the assignment. I will recommend this vendor to anyone I know he needs his services.

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
Erich Johnston and Phil showed up on time both days of the job and were very professional and kept me informed of how the job was going and what they were doing.  I would definitely use them again!

They were great. Brad Williams was very professional, prompt, and a real pleasure to have working around the home. He was exceptionally good at listening and then doing exactly what we wanted and asked for.

    Bill Randall Brick Mason
Mr. Randall was initially very prompt. He came out within a few days of speaking to him and took measurements and confirmed what we wanted done. I received a call back quoting price which was very reasonable and better than the larger companies. I hired Mr. Randall and he began work on 7/31/12. This was a large job which included tearing down the old porch. Work took approximately a month to complete with rain delays. I was extremely pleased with almost all of the work. The brickwork looks great and color was matched very well to our existing brick and the work was done exactly as asked. My only displeasure is at the bottom of the steps. A cement base had to be layed due to the slope of our yard. Bill explained this and I understood why it was being done and agreed. I realized later this base should have been lower in the ground because it now sticks up approximately 4 inches and does not look good. I did agree to what was done but feel it should have been a bit differently in hindsight. The problems came after the job was completed. The concrete top of the porch was not covered after completion and it rained. This ruined the top of the porch. Mr. Randall used a material (unsure exactly what this was) to put a thin layer over the top of the messed up concrete. When it was complete it looked ok and I assumed it would stay that way. Approximately 8 months later the layer on top began to pop up and crack. I contacted Mr. Randall several times over a period of almost 4 months before he finally came out to repair the top of the porch. He also promised to stain the entire top so it would all match. He never came back to do this and I was too frustrated to continue calling him. Now it is five months after the repair was done and the other side of the porch has begun to crack and pop just like the other side did. Seeing as I was unsatisfied with the repair job, I will have to likely pay someone else to make repairs and hope it doesn't cause additional damage.

    All talk, no go.
Although Michelle tries to keep Mike on track, it was like pulling teeth to get a contract detailing the needed work from them.
Eventually, i wrote up a scope of work which they then copied into their and quot;standardand quot; contract.
Mike showed up with a helper on the day agreed, but at 10:45. When I talked with him, he said and quot; We'll finish this todayand quot;.
Unfortunately, he apparently didn't read his own contract on the scope of work and claimed the scope was considerably less than I was explaining until I showed him his own contract.
After that discussion, he took a couple more swings with a pick-ax and then packed up his equipment and left.
Apparently he decided that he couldn't meet his obligations.

M and M masonry came through big time for us. We were left with a half finished project was left behind from another landscaper here on AngiesList.
They were able to start the project within 2 days of contacting them and gave us a great quote. They finished on time and it looks great. They were even nice enough to let us borrow their shop vac so we can clean up some mess left behind from the previous landscaper.
I would highly recommend their services for any masonry project you have. Learn from our mistake, hire a Mason to do masonry work!
