They refinished a child's table and chairs and did a wonderful job.  They picked up and delivered the pieces in a timely manner.  Next time I need any furniture refinished I know exactly who I will be calling again.  Definitely would recommend to anyone needing furniture repairs done.

    Metropolitan Moving LLC.

we loved this service,  would call this mover again in a minute. Price was very reasonable, the minimum charge is much less than the other companies I checked with. The guys were on time and professional, very careful not to damage anything wall etc. brought blankets with them to cover things up and wrapped door frames with a protective blanket.

We initially met with George at his shop.  He sat down with us and designed what we were looking for.  He was very easy to work with.  It took about 4-5 weeks to have the cabinets designed and made.  They installed the cabinets on 3/9/15 and went smoothly.  We really like the product and service we received.  Thank you for a beautiful product.

    Carolina Upholstery
They did a fabulous job. I had to buy the upholstery material but their labor was around $500. They are one of the local providers and companies like them like to quote based upon the nature of the upholstery work they do. So the pricing of that is so subjective. They were recommended and I went by, they gave me a quote, they came back and they picked up the material and they had everything back within a week. I have done upholstery done before and I have never had that turn around and the finished product was absolutely gorgeous. When it comes to things like price, I don’t really care. Other people don’t mind but this is going to be in my living room so for me, the price is all relative to the finished product. If you do a lousy charge and charge me less, then it is absolutely not worth it, so it is very subjective. They were punctual, quick, and I have never seen anybody turn around a job so quickly and it was a professional group.

A wonderful job! I thought the table that belonged to a family member was beyond repair from the water damage. Not only was it repaired but it looks better than it did prior to the damage. The people are professional and excellent craftsmen who take pride in their work.

    Hilton's Upholstery
Mr. Hilton did a great job recovering my dining room chairs at a very reasonable price and in record time.  He added plenty of padding and welting and they look wonderful.  I provided the fabric.  I couldn't believe how quickly he had these completed.  He was friendly, courteous and most accommodating.  I have recommended him to others who have already used his services and are very satisfied.

Both tables needed cleaning, they were not damaged, just well used.

The Hitchcock table has stensiling at the corners which limits any refinishing.  That was fine because  it just needed a good cleaning to restore the finish.  I do not know what they put on the table, but now there is a sticky residue that sticks to everything. Even cloth placemats stick and leave a fuzzy residue when pulled up.  A piece of paper will leave bits of the paper and a dish has to be pulled up and leaves marks.  There are now rings and marks showing, much the same as prior to the "cleaning".  Granted I was only charged $100 for the job, but it is going to cost me more more to get it cleaned from what they did.

The dining room table ended up needing refinishing and looks ok, not like new, but ok, and does not seem to be sticky.  However, the person I dealt with was so rude regarding returning the table that I would never, never use or recommend these people again.  As I was not available on their schedule,  which was one particular Saturday and at a certain time only, to return my table, I was told that they would not return the table for three more weeks.   Later I received a phone call that they had decided to return the table on a different day when  I was available, but stressed that this was most inconvenient for them.  When the table arrived, Kevin, who I believe is one of the owners, refused to speak to me.

Between the rude, unprofessional behavior and the sticky table, I am so sorry I used these people.

The service went very well. The sales woman was very accommodating. She was very pleasant and not pushy in her sales. The chairs were delivered to my home in great condition. They took the old recliners out. Overall, everything went smoothly and I was very pleased.

They showed up on time, as initially agreed. Initial email response was slow, like 2-3 days. I needed to reschedule the appt as work called that morning, but no one answered text messages or voice mail, so I just stalled work.
They did check with me on the liner color before starting, and there were 3 guys. Will did say that this was his first Honda Pilot that he's done, which didn't put my mind at ease.
I had it in the garage, in the shade, as his ad requests.
I was on the phone when I went to go look at it while it was still in the garage, so it was a cursory inspection.
Later when I got it out in the sun I saw more issues:
    1. The headliner had several marks left on it from dirty hands that I'll need to clean.
    2. The rear hand grab plastic housing was cracked after they had removed and reinstalled
    3. In the end I was l left with a general feeling of 'get it done fast' and so-so attention to detail (bits of foam still stuck to the new liner) and it looks 'bumpy' (which might just be a normal thing for a new headliner till it settles?).
Those are the 'bads' and maybe aren't *that* bad, I'm just very picky about things like that.
I did give a $15 tip, so it was $240 in the end.
I was nice to not have to actually do it, but I'm wondering if it was worth the money I paid...
The question asked earlier if I would use them again or not should have a Maybe answer. I said Yes, but the caveat is that I'd have a talk with the crew before they actually do it.
