    Carolina Family Chiropractic
It went very well and I'm more than happy to tell everyone that these treatments work, so, those that need help, do it. And those that think you're okay, go anyway because it will help prevent future problems.

He is a nice guy. He did a good job. She healed fast but he was upfront with everything we were going to experience. They require you to go to a training class before hand. They're very thorough. After the surgery he met with me. The next morning in the hospital we met with him again. When we went to the follow up we expected just to see the PA or whatever, but nope. He was watching as she walked down the hall and said she was walking well, balance was beautiful and she was healing beautifully.

    Serendipity Massage
My massage was great. Rob did a great job. What I am not happy about is that I used a groupon and have another massage but they redeemed both. I can not find my original paper and I left them a message about this and have yet to get return call. It is very hard to get into them, unless it's a month in advance because they are so busy.

    Cooper, Dr. Adam H.
A friend sees Dr Adam and they offered to see me to evaluate by spine. Of course, I would need adjustments as my posture is not great. Dr Adam and staff were excellent-courteous and professional. I didn't continue with treatment, but would if I needed a chiropractor.

    Perry Orthopedic & Sports Medic
Office visits were great. Appointments were on time and Dr. Cook, his PA, nurse, receptionist and appointment clerk were so friendly and caring. Surgery went extremely well as well as the recovery. I was very pleased with Perry Orthopedics, Dr. Cook and his staff.

    Kim, Dr. Kevin Y.
I have been going to Dr. Kim for approx. two months and I think he is excellent . Dr. Kim listens very carefully to your symptoms and treats the whole person. I am probably more of a difficult case since I cannot take herbs and have been taking HRT for 5 years and just came off five months ago, I have found relief with him and I believe he is a good healer and all around nice person who has great energy. I believe with more time going to see him we will find the right path to get me balanced and feeling good. He is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese medicine as well as western medicine. I have my husband going to him for his back and other problems and I am hopeful he will help him as well.

Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center
They're just wonderful. They are very friendly and professional, and I always feel I get excellent care there. I've been to a couple of other physical therapists in the area, and Steele Creek is far and away above everyone else.

We really like Field of Dreams - Edgewater. The Director, Ashley, and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Their teachers seem to have prior experience with the age group they are caring for. Our child started there at 4 months old and is now almost 2 years old. She is very advanced for her age and I can't help but give some credit to her daycare teachers. The rooms are set up very nicely. Both infant rooms (0-6 months and 6-12 months) allow for separate, but still visible, napping areas and a good play area. The teachers are very interactive and attentive to the kids. In the 1 year old room, our child comes home with artwork about once a week. They play outside nearly every day, sing songs, read books, and other activities.
Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and organized, environment condusive to learning and development
Cons: Expensive (in my opinion), the daily info sheets aren't always filled out completely and they don't highlight what my child did that day like I've seen other daycares do, no discount for sibling care that I'm aware of

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
I've been a member at this Hand and Stone spa since the week they opened. I had previously had a bad experience with a different membership-based massage therapy chain, and I was wary of getting a membership at a new one, even though Hand S was so close to my house. So I walked in and met Mark. I told him about my concerns, how the therapist I'd had at a different chain didn't even seem qualified, and he made me a promise I've never forgotten: We'll do our best to match you with the right therapist for the kind of massage you want, and if you're ever dissatisfied, call me and I will make it right.
It's been... goodness... I don't know how many years now, and I have not had a bad experience yet!
Mark and Chad run the place efficiently. The environment is quiet and relaxing and very spa-like. They didn't skimp on the finishes in this salon, so you feel relaxed the moment you come in. After all these years, and after I got my husband hooked on massage therapy as well (he always thought massages were just 'frou frou' things until I introduced him to a great massage therapist at Hand and Stone) ... Anyway, after all these years, they all know me by name and they know just what I want in a massage therapist, and what my key issues are, which is nice.
I sometimes hop from massage therapist to massage therapist depending on my mood. They have several great therapists there at all times, although occasionally one of my favorites will move on and that's always a bummer. If I want to try a new or different therapist, I just call up and tell them what kind of massage I need (deep tissue vs. just relaxation vs. a mix or some special area that needs help) and they'll make a recommendation. So far, they've never steered me wrong.
    There's definitely a system where therapists will make notes about their sessions with you, so even a new therapist gets a bit of your history from another therapist. I've gone in before and said, and quot;Please go easy on my hipsand quot; and the new therapist said, and quot;Yes I saw where Kimberly had said you're very tight and very sensitive to pain in your (insert different muscles I can't remember here).and quot;
You pay for your membership monthly, which is essentially guaranteeing to the shop that you'll get one massage there. You don't have to use it each month. I tend to and quot;binge massageand quot;. I'll forget or feel okay for awhile, and then suddenly four months later I go every week, or every other week, or even do a 2 hour session - using up my and quot;bankedand quot; sessions. Is that the efficient way to do it? No, but it works for me.
I've really learned the benefits of massage therapy thanks to Hand and Stone. My husband thinks that his massage therapist is key to his ability to stay injury-free as an athlete. These therapists know their stuff, and I can't recommend them highly enough!
