Removed and installed a transmission. All seals, gaskets and fluids were replaced. Replaced the oxygen sensor.
I called the owner, Chad Johnson to get an estimate on a used transmission and the parts and labor to install. I was told he found a transmission for $250.00 and he would install it for $250 parts and labor. After I dropped the car off at his shop he called back to say the the only transmission he could find with a 90 day warranty was $700 and that he would need the money from me to purchase the transmission. At this time I was told he would guarentee the parts and labor for 90 days. Chad told me he could have it back to me in a couple of days but everytime I called he kept postponing the finish date. I have numerous reports of him driving around town in the car for days before he said it was complete. Then I found out he has no drivers license. When the car was complete he added in numerous parts and labor charges that were suppose to be included in the $250. Before I could get the car back I had to pay him about $1500. The transmission is leaking fluid and when I took it back to be repaired he said I would have to buy the parts and pay the labor again for him to fix it. I am going to get the car and take my 90 day warranty to the magistrates office.
