    We had some odd size windows, therefore after looking at how much of each blind needed to be cut off we decided to get some professional help. Southern Traditions removed all of my old blinds and installed all of the custom blinds. They did a wonderful job. Their work was neat, I didn't have to clean up after them. Extremely professional job well done.

    Julie has great ideas and the construction crew that did the physical part of the remodel did an impeccable job. Julie overcommits her time and my remodel project that started in July 2015- is still incomplete today. She has been given the chance to rectify the situation multiple times and she admitted that she had fallen short. She still never finished. At this point I have no interest in her completing what she was paid to do. If you chose to hire her, ensure that there is a detailed project plan with milestones. I am partially responsible for this debacle because I considered her to be a friend and gave her allowances that I shouldn't have. UPDATED(10/30/2017): All of the additional items that Julie is referring to were all discussed prior to the original quote, which had been paid in full long before the additional bills were presented. She needs to be clearer when providing quotes as to what is in and what isn���t- Decorating Services is pretty broad. I still do not have the paint colors that were used for the walls. I gave her additional time for her Christmas decorating services, followed by the remodel on her lake house, followed by her son���s graduation and lastly, getting her son settled in at college in the summer. The work was started in August. It certainly wasn���t about the money- it was about the failure to deliver what was promised on a timely basis. If anyone has any questions for me, please feel free to contact me directly. I have documentation on file.

    I used Budget Blinds before and was very pleased with the service and product. When my daughter bought a new home, I suggested shades for the three children's rooms. My husband also wanted to add blinds to two windows in our house that we hadn't done with our first order from Budget Blinds. Brian was so helpful. Came out right away and took care of the measurements for our blinds. Then we went to the new house. There was a time frame I was hoping to meet, to get the shades in the children's rooms before they moved. After ordering. it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for the shades to arrive. While measuring, Brian found out that all the windows were going to be replaced in the house and advised that the new windows might measure differently, so we had to wait a week until that work was finished  and then he came back right away to confirm the measurements. Brian was great about matching the color of the shades to the window trim and it's perfect. Best of all, even with the delay, Brian got the shades back and installed before the move. Brian is knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend Budget Blinds. He won't sell you something you don't need or that might not work and he is great at communicating. I would definitely use Budget Blinds for any of our window needs.

    Mr. Williams took careful measurements to ensure a perfect fit in our windows. He was respectful of our time and our belongings, cleaning up after himself at all times. Although he took great care in everything that he did, the time he took was far less than I had imagined. Especially for installation, he had taken into account the minor quirks of each individual window and installation was a snap. There were a few nail holes that weren't filled and painted, but the job overall was far better than I had expected for custom shutters.

    Brian made a special appointment for us since my husband was going out of town.  Brian listened to us and gave us some suggestions of what would work in our space.  He suggested a bold color we decided to go with it.  They were installed and we absolutely love them.  We would use Brian again and would recommend them highly.

    Marvelous! Without an ounce of unnecessary effort or attention, I got exactly the shutters I expected (which were exactly what I wanted), exactly when promised, at exactly the price quoted (which was very fair). Arranging the estimate required a single phone call. The estimate was done (at my convenience) by Brian Fisch, the owner, who advised me about what to install and told me how best to do it. He measured all the windows and offered to take down and dispose of the existing blinds. He also told me that the shutters would be installed in six earlier, no later.
    Sure enough, six weeks later Budget Blinds was calling to schedule installation of my new shutters. Again, scheduling was easy and the installer came on time. He had my shutters and his tools, plus all the expertise and information he needed to install the shutters efficiently and neatly. He removed the old blinds to his truck for disposal, then went to work on the shutters. Although I believe he faced some technical challenges, there was no groaning or swearing, no blaming me for overcrowding or poor light, no going back to the office for tools, no smoke break or calling his mother. He just handled it, with no damage to walls or furniture, then cleaned up his mess and went away, leaving me with nothing to do but admire my new shutters.
    They were so handsome that the existing shutter on the door became unacceptably tacky by contrast, so I called Brian and today he measured my door. Again the experience was easy and pleasant, and the price was more than fair. All I have to do now is wait for the shutter fairies to bring my shutter to Brian in six weeks, when I will be happy to let his installation genius back in the house to finish the job. Budget Blinds knows and shows what customer service means.

    I had called Brian to get an estimate for blinds to install on three front windows and a sliding glass door.  Brian came out the next day and was very helpful in helping us choose the right blinds based on what we were looking for.  Brian took all of the necessary measurements required, and initiated the order for our blinds.
    When the blinds came in, Brian had them installed and they looked great.  My wife and I were very pleased with the outcome and wished we had done this years ago.  I would definitely recommend Budget Blinds of Greenville to anyone looking for blinds, and would hire Brian again.

    Got Budget Blinds from Angie's List. Brian answered the call and came out the next day. He was very helpful in advising what to get and the blinds came in even quicker than expected. They were installed today and the installation was very professional. We are very satisfied with the results and how everything looks. Brian called later today to say that the there was a scratch on one of the valences and he had already ordered replacements. We would have never noticed.  Was pleased with how easily the whole job went from start to finish.

    The sales visit was quick and efficient. The sales representative was adequately knowledgeable. The sales representative measured all of the windows - top and bottom for width and left and right sides for length using an electronic device.
    The delivery was less than 3 weeks for 22 shades.The installer was on time and completed his work quickly and quietly. After the installer left we found that eight shades were short in llength. The worst one was 4 inches short. The installer did not mention that the shades were short. The shortest shades were left up. The rest of the shades were drawn completely down.The installer removed two existing blindes and laid them and the hardware on top of the bedspread in the room. The installer removed one existing curtain, which could not be rehung because the headrail of the new blinds was not mounted deeper inside the window well. The curtain was left lying on the floor.
    The company was contacted and the sales representative (franchise owner) came back to the house. He demonstrated that all but one of the short shades could be stretched to fit. The shade that was still 2-3 inches short will be replaced. The sales representative remounted the headrail so that the curtain could be reinstalled.
    The installer did a poor job by not communicating to the customer that one shade was too short. The installer should have stretched the shades so that they fit instead of leaving it for the owner to do. The installer should not have left material on the bed, which made the bed spread dirty with grease/oil. The installer should have installed the new blinds so that the existing curtain could be rehung.
    The sales rep/franchise owner made excuses for all of the installer's mistakes.
