    Landscape Project Management
Do not hire David Soignoli. He sold us on his experience and 1 year guarantee, but he hired inexperienced kids and no longer answers any form of communication, despite multiple issues with the work. Do not trust him. Detail: We hired David to do a lot of work to our new house's yard. We hired him to bring in fill dirt and level out the backyard, and to install irrigation, 26 pallets of sod, drainage pipes, and a privacy fence, a $17k job. We had a contract with a 50/50 payment plan (50 up front, 50 at the end) and a one year guarantee on the work. There were multiple issues with the job. First was the crew. David hired the crew off of Craigslist (he told us) and regularly complained how unreliable 17 year olds were. Rather than be there to supervise, he would leave them by themselves. He treated them unprofessionally with me present, and the crew was also unprofessional. They used and took my tools and gas cans, went to the bathroom in the yard and did not clean it up, etc. David eventually fired a few of them, and one of them peeled out, messing up both my and my neighbors yard. After completing the job, the crew told me it was their first time installing a sprinkler system and first time installing a fence, and that David was not present the majority of the time. Second was the work. There was supposed to be 5 truckloads of fill dirt to fix the 4-5ft high ledge along the backside of the property. Instead, David only brought in 3 but did not drop the price because he said it was more than he thought it'd be. The grading has turned out to not be sufficient, as the back has already started to wash out. The 26 pallets of sod were laid before the sprinkler system was in, which resulted in a large amount (10 pallets worth), dying. The drainage system for the gutters was paid to have them run to the back of the property. Instead, we have found that they only extend part way, ending in the middle of the yard, or in some cases, just with the tube sticking out of the ground. The sprinkler system has terrible pressure and coverage. After speaking with another company, it is due to the design and execution of the system. Additionally, the work is shoddy with exposed wires and no backflow preventer (despite us paying for one). Finally, the fence was not built well. The horizontal braces are spaced too close together, resulting in the top and bottom of the pickets warping in or out. The gates no longer open all the way, and the cheap $13 hardware from home depot (that we were charged $75 each for) is sagging. Finally, was David's professionalism and follow-through. We were on a 50/50 payment plan, but David approached us 80% through asking to pay for what had been completed (another $5k). I, trusting, did. David told us that he was experienced and would be there to supervise, but as I mentioned, we were told by the crew he was not (taking advantage of the fact I traveled for business and my wife worked long shifts). David said he has a one year guarantee on the work, but he not responded to any communication (phone, email, text, thumbtack message, etc). Do not hire

    All About Irrigation
I was extremely impressed. The representative was on time, professional, efficient and knowledgeable! The problems were identified and I was very pleased with the estimate. We moved forward with the repairs and the system is operating perfectly now! Great experience and they were a pleasure to work with! I will certainly call them again if needed and strongly recommend them.

I hired Mark to install an irrigation system and drainage. I hired him at the end of Feb, and he said he would be able to start middle of March. He then postponed the job a number of times and then had personal issues and was not going to be able to get to my job. He then sold the job to another contractor, the person he learned from. It then took me to threaten for a refund of my money for the job to get started 4 months after signing the contract. The new guy then took 3 weeks to do a 2.5 day job, and really only did 3/4 of what was contracted.

Aaric's Irrigation, Lighting & Sod Works
I hired Aarics to repair an exisiting outdoor lightihg installation. They were unable to properly repair and what they did repair was extremely poor. They have a definate lack of knowlege of lighting systems and the charges for parts was unwarrently when I went back an looked at what items they installed and what they charged. I paid $990 on oct. 27, 2016 for a job that resulted in the lighting not working at all. They were unable to even set the control box properly

    All About Irrigation
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to in this case. First I would like to say shame on me for trying to get our sprinkler system working so late in the season (I'm from the north and not used to early spring). We inherited a system when we bought our house that never worked (according to the previous owner). That said, we spoke with several companies that were extremely expensive (one quote was almost $4,500) and none of them could get to us for weeks, if not months.

I spoke with Tom late in the afternoon, and a tech came out to check out what we needed the next morning. The following day Tom (the owner) came to give it a look over as well and give me a ballpark estimate. I was extremely comfortable with Tom and his company, and they could start right away!

The next day David came to work on our system. Within a week, our system was working, repaired where it was needed and we had an additional zone put in. I couldn't be happier with the service, price and professionalism David performed for us. He explained things thoroughly, was very courteous and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend All About Irrigation and will definitely be using them in the future!

So I hate to be Debbie downer here,
but this has to be the strangest experience I?ve ever had with a company. I scoured Angies List in 2014 reading all reviews before contacting Artistic Landscaping Design. Marc was extremely personable and professional over the phone and we set a time for our initial sit down to go over our needs. He showed up at the agreed time and we had what I thought was a set plan for him to come back, take photos, and assess the property for an initial proposal. That initial meeting was the last conversation we had with Marc
until the following fall of 2015.
Here's what happened.  We waited and waited for him to call us back with a time to get back together to go over his ideas and costs, but were left perplexed when we could not get him via phone after leaving message after message.  We received not so much as a text, nothing...simply no response.  I suppose at that point we should have walked away and contacted another company, but because he seemed so knowledgeable and professional, we were sure something drastic had happened, and positive he would contact us as soon as whatever personal storm was going on in his life passed.  But no, we heard not a word.
By now the planting season had past. We let it go deciding we would look for another company the following fall. Fast forward to October 2015.  I got back on AngiesList determined to find another business to sit down with but something drew me back to Marc. I couldn?t shake the feeling something major happened that he simply couldn?t respond, plus already having the foundation of our first meeting under our belt prompted me to try again. Before completely blowing him off I decided to message him through AngiesList to see if we could find out what happened, and re-schedule another meeting. We were right in our assessment something drastic had happened.  Mind you we are not without compassion.  God knows our life can change on a dime.  About the time I think we have everything planned out, BOOM, life tells me otherwise.
After messaging Marc we once again received an immediate response and re-scheduled another appointment.  He came out, and after a long discussion over the past years events went on to discuss his coming back out to take photos, and laying
out planting choices for a plan of action.  This time however I gave him an existing set of professionally made landscaping plans made when we built our home.  I thought this would help save him time.  The plans were drawn to scale and would give him a basis to work off of, as well as a visual to refer back to. He walked out of our house with one more heart-felt apology, and promised we would not lose yet another year of fall plantings.  That was Oct.17th 2015.
We have not heard a word from him since.
I accept we lost another year, (first time shame on me, second time shame on you) but what sent my blood pressure soaring today and prompted this review was opening AngiesList and seeing a coupon pop up on my main page for $350.00, 8hrs of yard clean up I clicked on the offer to see the details and saw it was Artistic Landscape Design!!  Are you kidding me!!...He still has my landscaping plans and has yet to take five minutes to drop them in the mail.  We lost another year, our fault for trusting this wonderful salesman, but it won?t happen again, at least to us.  I'm not sure how he has survived running a business thus far, but If I were a potential customer I would make darn sure I had a back up plan.... JUST INCASE!  Buyer-Be-Ware!!

They were  little late arriving(1 1/2 hour) but I got 2 calls notifying me and explaining the delay. There were 3 workers instead of the advertised 2, but still got the number of hours purchased. Went over the allotted hours but I paid them a bit more. The supervisor was very pleasant and helpful. The workers were very professional acting and really worked hard. I am extremely pleased and will probably use them again.

Aaric's Irrigation, Lighting & Sod Works
Brandon scheduled an appointment with me and called the night before to confirm. He showed up exactly on time, which seems to be a rare thing these days. I appreciate this very much since I left work to go back to my house to meet him. He checked all the sprinkler heads in our yard for leaks. Two heads that I already knew were causing problems were replaced, and he spent considerable time making sure all areas of our yard were being properly watered. He adjusted 5 heads that were not spraying in the right patterns. Some heads were leaving dry spots, while some other heads were over-spraying one area and leaving the ground soggy. We went over everything when the job was finished to make sure I was satisfied. I feel very good about the work that was performed, and I feel that his price was extremely fair compared to services I have used in years past. Thanks for the great work Brandon!

    Water Works

I am so happy I called Water Works!  My company had some issues with our irrigation system that we couldn't fix ourselves.  I contacted 3 other local (recommended) companies and was "stood up" by all 3!  The other companies gave me a date and then I'd never hear from them again and they wouldn't return my calls, so...

I called Water Works and couldn't be more pleased with them.  I found their prices very reasonable and they seem to genuinely care about what they do and how they treat their customers.

    Highly recommended!

By far the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. We've bought, renovated, and sold many homes and used many contractors. Marc is the most professional contractor I've ever used. He did what he said he would do, on time, without any change order surprises. He was respectful of our property and kept the worksite neat, clean, and safe. Upon completion our yard was dramatically transformed.
Great professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Bravo, Marc!
