The Children's Medical Center - Greenville
Appointment was easy to arrange and office staff were efficient. Called back to exam room on time. The waiting room was fairly empty. Waited in exam room for quite awhile before doctor arrived but this seems the norm. Both nurse and doctor were kind, thorough and efficient. All questions were answered thoroughly. Even though we do not go often, they act like we come often and they know us well. The doctor and nurse both talked to my son rather than to me as the patient. We both liked this.

They have great hours, they are open every day until seven and they are open on Saturdays, so they have excellent availability. If you have a sick kid, you will get in the same day. The front desk girls are really good and the nurses have been there for a long time. So, they don't seem to have a lot of turnover in the office and it is always good to see the same faces throughout the year so that is really nice too. I don't know if this matters but it matters to me that they are all female doctors there and I really like that for my daughter. She really likes that and some people might like that too.

    Woodlief, Dr. Rebecca S.
Dr. Rebecca S. Woodlief is excellent. She is very friendly and kind to the children. She is professional and caring. She has a very clean office. It's brand new. It's only been opened for about one year. She took her time to listen and really examined my child and figure out any issues that we have. She gives a little lollipop or a sticker. They have bubbles for when they gave my child his vaccinations. There's a little bubble machine that they turn on so that bubbles will come out in the room to distract the child. It's cool. One of the best pluses is that they have an on-site lactation consultant for when someone has a newborn. They have lactation rooms and special rooms that when someone has a newborn that they go to see. Sick children aren't seen in that same room. It's a special section for the little newbies. It's nice to have that lactation consultant if someone has any questions. When I had to call and ask a question as to whether to bring the child in or not, the nurses were prompt in calling me back and is concerned. When I had to make a sick visit, it's usually within 24 hours that i can get in. All of that is good.

The appointments usually take over an hour, with about 15 minutes actually seeing the doctor. We are always on time or a little early, but doctor is usually running about 30 to 45 minutes behind. Punctuality is the only category that I scored lower than an A. We really like the Dr. and all office staff; especially the team of nurses, they are fantastic!

The Children's Medical Center - Greenville
My child had an ear infection and we saw Dr Bass. He has a great bedside manner and is great with children. His nurse is great as well! We have been going there since my child was born, for 6 years, and have seen many of the Dr's and have not had a bad experience ever. Highly recommend!

    Krishnamurthy, Dr. Vidya
Dr. Krishnamurthy is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met--and, as a nurse, I have interacted with MANY doctors. There is no and quot;doctor attitudeand quot; and she genuinely cares about your child and your family. She has helped us get the genetic testing we need to get our daughter better and has empowered me by giving me further reading that applies to my daughter's situation and referring me to other providers as appropriate. Her staff is matter-of-fact, but efficient.

    Childrens Clinic
We have always had wonderful experiences with the Children's Clinic. I usually take my son to Dr. Manley (he is SO thorough, WE LOVE HIM) but we have seen 3 or 4 other doctors at the office and they are all great. I love that there are 2 waiting rooms, one for well children and 1 for sick children. It's comforting to know that if we are there just for a check up, especially with a newborn, that the baby wouldn't be in contact with sick kids.
I had to take my 15 month old in the night before Thanksgiving for a terrible cough and sore throat. I called at 5:30pm and they took him right away, did a throat culture and had the results in 5 minutes.
I have always felt that my family has been very cared for by their doctors and staff and have recommended them to others many times.

    Eastside Pediatrics PA
I absolutely love this practice! I always see the same doctor unless I call and need an appointment on a day that my normal physician isn't in the office; only then will you see a different physician. If you have a health concern, they will call you back promptly and, if necessary, get you in to see a doctor that day; even if you call them at 4pm (30 minutes before they close). After hours concerns are addressed in a timely manner as well! I couldn't ask for better staff to attend to my children's health care needs than the staff and doctors at Eastside Pediatrics.

    Washburn, Dr. Brian H
He is the only doctor in the practice, so he is very familiar. It is not like we are seeing a different doctor every time we go like with most pediatric patients. He sees them until they are 18, so he has been the only doctor my son is seeing from birth until now; my son is 8 years old now. So, he knows his background and history.

I really like them and they are a minimalist. They will not just pump your kid with drugs when you bring them in for a problem. They have no problem with just telling you that you should wait some things out.
