    Tollison, Dr. Michael E
It went great! Didn't have any pain after the first two days. Dr. Tollison is wonderful, he really cares about his patients. He explains everything he will be doing surgically and patiently answers questions. He is so kind and very responsive to his post-op patients - personally called me back with a concern I had. I had put this surgery off for a couple years because I kept hearing 'horror stories' about this surgery. Wish I had done it sooner - wouldn't have required surgery on my other toes! He is a great surgeon - so glad I picked him for my surgery.

Bone & Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge
It was an excellent experience with them. You will be seen by the doctor quickly diagnosis is correct and I got better. They are very friendly and good attitude and high quality medicine. I would absolutely use this practice again in the future.

    Carolina Orthopaedic Center
My daughter suffered a nasty fall that resulted in a torn ligament. The doctor has tried several options with the primary goal to avoid surgery. Not often do you have surgeons try to avoid surgery. May still need it but we appreciate the efforts not to

    Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates
Was a great experience. The office staff was friendly and efficient in processing me as a new patient. I then met with Dr Tanner to discuss my wrist and elbow pain. I received a cortisone shot in my wrist and elbow but not before he explained the procedure to me thoroughly. It was as he said and within 8 hours, my wrist was back to normal with no soreness or tingling fingers. My elbow was perfect within 2 days.

    The Hand Center PA
I had previously been treated by Dr. Palmer for an issue with my hand, so I took my daughter here based in my previous experience. He is extremely personable and takes a lot of time to explain exactly what is going on with your injury or issue. You could not ask for a more thorough exam. The office staff, nursing assistants and physical therapists are all great! I would definitely visit this practice (Dr Palmer) again if a family member or I experienced an injury, and would highly recommend Dr Palmer and The Hand Center to anyone.

    Steadmen Hawkins Clinic
Wonderfully as usual! They are all great there! I would highly recommend Michelle and that clinic to anyone. Thanks to Steadman Hawkins and. Michelle Wilson for making us feel at ease and healing our bones, but most of all for being caring. It means so very much to our family. When you are in pain you always want to get the highest quality care and heal properly. Steadman Hawkins is total A total quality provider.

    Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates
It went very well. I was able to get an appointment within a few days, not a few weeks. The front office had me checked in in minutes. I didn't have to wait -- I was seen at my scheduled appointment time, which was astounding to me. Dr. Paylor was very efficient; he quickly determined the likely source of my problem and the courses of treatment. He explained what the problem seemed to be and how he planned to treat it; he ordered Xrays (done in the office) to confirm the diagnosis; he gave me an injection and sent me home with exercises to strengthen the joint and regain flexibility. As it turned out, his diagnosis and treatment were right on the money; I didn't even need the second injection planned. I appreciated the professional, courteous treatment from everyone on staff at Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates; they made me feel comfortable and cared for and they didn't waste my time. I especially appreciated being treated as an intelligent consumer of medical services; Dr. Paylor and the nursing staff answered all of my questions honestly and in plain English. I recommend Dr. Paylor and Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates highly.

    Thompson, Dr. James S.
Pretty much the only thing Dr. Thompson does for tendinitis is diagnosis. He had no treatment for me and told me just to rest. ... it felt hopeless. His bedside manner was really bad. I was pretty distressed and tendinitis is a big problem for me because I am in college right now for music. I started to tear up at one point and he just tried not to make eye contact with me and I could tell he just wanted to leave the room. I could tell it made him feel really awkward, but working in sports medicine I would think that he should be used to people having life altering injuries that affect their lifestyle. I asked him to code my visit as a cheaper option if possible because I have high deductible so I usually pay totally out of pocket. After he did this and did the paper work for my visit while I was trying to talk to him I told him I had more questions that I had written down and he was like 'you can't ask a whole lot of questions now that I coded your visit the cheapest I could.' He told me that I did not need surgery so he could not help me. Besides giving me no hope for healing from the diagnosis he gave me, the diagnosis was wrong!!!
About 3 months later I went to another practice in Greenville SC for the same problem and a 2nd opinion. They diagnosed me with radial tunnel syndrome which can often mimick lateral epicondylitis but the pain is in a distinctly different place on the arm. Also I find it odd that they diagnosed me with tendinitis when I never had any visible swelling. Not only was Dr. Thompson rude and uncomfortable with someone who was distressed with their injury, his practice charged me $775 for a diagnosis that was incorrect! Included in that $775 was a nerve conduction study to rule out neuromuscular disorders. The 2nd specialist I went to in Greenville said this test was not necessary when diagnosing radial tunnel syndrome, as the test can show no abnormalities even if you have radial tunnel syndrome. Also Dr. Thompson gave absolutely no treatment or treatment plan... It seems from other reviews that Dr. Thompson is good with things that are straight forward that need surgery, but for this slightly enigmatic diagnosis he had no insight. I am sorry I wasted so much time and money visiting Dr. Thompson's office.

Perhaps other physicians at this practice are much better, the office staff, scheduling, wait time, and facility were great.

    Tollison, Dr. Michael E
Experience was limited, but good. He offered second opinion, which verified course of treatment that my current physician was offering, plus he offered additional suggestions that I took back to my current physician. If I encounter problems with my current doctor, I would feel comfortable changing over to use him.
