    Dreamscape Landscaping LLC
Worked directly with Blake from concept to completion. Blake listened to our what we wanted and helped us shape that into what would work with our overall design goals and budget. The fall of 2018 was rough weather wise but the DreamScape crew made good on one major commitment, be done by Thanksgiving. They did it! Left our yard, house and street in tip top condition as the sun set on Wednesday afternoon. Jacob, Blake's right hand man worked seamlessly with us anytime Blake was unavailable to be on hand. This was a major job and it was handled very well. Looking forward to enjoying our backyard, patio and landscape for many years to come.

    Blue Dot Landscaping
My experience with this company was very negative. We had agreed on certain things that were to be done. The company made changes without my authorization that were not close to the quality we had discussed. The main issue was the steps that were built. They were supposed to be a set of steps with one step per rise. They ended up doing the steps two deep. I would have been fine with that had they been supported like the steps we originally discussed. Instead the steps were cemented horizontally, unevenly placed height wise so that some of the individual risers are not even level, they are not supported completely underneath so the cemented line is cracked and some of the steps wiggle, and some steps are placed at a slant as much as 3" off. I contacted the BBB with no successful result. We could not agree on what needed to be done, and the company refused to do arbitration with the BBB and myself.

    Howard Masonry
Clay, Jody and George have been working together for about 25 years and they are an amazing team. Their work ethic is professional and client focused. They arrived on time each day and put in a full day of hard work. The project took 12 days to complete and they never slowed down. Clay communicated with me regularly as to their progress and with any suggestions or questions about the project. He wants to make sure his clients are pleased with his work. Howard Masonry charges for their labor only. All materials are purchased by the homeowner, under Clay Howard's careful guidance. He takes measurements and instructs you how much of a particular material you need to purchase, and offers suggestions as to the best place to make the purchase. I was unsure about the specific stone to use for our project; he and I visited several stone vendors together so he could show me the differences and help me decide. As a result of how pleased we were with this project, we have hired Howard Masonry to replace another large retaining wall at the back of our house. I highly recommend this team to anyone in need of a stone/brick mason. You will not be disappointed!!

    Carolina Cobblestones
Weather conditions created a wait time for the project to begin which wasn't a problem for us, but once the project began, they were punctual and professional and completed the project to our satisfaction. All the work has extremely enhanced our property.

The work on the driveway went perfectly. Since I do not permanently live at the summer home where the work was being done, I relied on the owner Mike to keep me updated with photos via email. Mike's company did exactly what I wanted in both design and workmanship. The end result is a work of art with a concrete driveway set off with pavers at both the entrance and garage door.

    Carolina Cobblestones
Everything went great! John Payne and Carolina Cobblestones did a wonderful job, in some ways BEYOND what we expected! They replaced all of the old galvanized plumbing and the drain (bringing it to code), added a new skimmer, returns and an auto fill, replaced the tiles at the water line, replaced the coping stones, removed all of the old paint and plaster inside the pool shell and arranged to have it re-plastered. On the above and beyond note, the original pool light had not worked for years and needless to say replacement parts for a 64 year old swimming pool light are non existent. We didn't want to replace the light with a new one because the original was a solid brass housing.... and was just really cool. John managed to fabricate a way to fit new "guts" into the original housing, rewire the light (again bringing to code) and fit it right into its original place! This was a big project and had the potential for disaster at every turn. Carolina Cobblestones, John and Jeremy, were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Good guys who knew what they were doing and were especially concerned with our satisfaction in all phases. Best thing I can say, if I had it to do over, I would choose them again.

    Pavers Inc
I was totally impressed. I skipped over the installer that came highly recommended by my landscape architect because Chick H. fully described the scope of work and quality standards he adhered to. It was every bit as he described and more. Every aspect of the work was first class. No shortcuts. He runs his jobs with a spirit of generosity and with the idea that customer satisfaction is something he has to earn and re-earn each day on the job. He had already though through the problems I was concerned wit and he has the savvy and experience to know how to get the job done right. Stone is an enduring material and everything else he does is with a view to making every thing else about the project just as enduring as the stone pavers. My one "B" for scoring him was a communication gaffe due to a delay in the start date when I had to pursue him to find out what his timetable looked like. Other communications were excellent and, in fact, his responsive is arguably a high A overall.

    Imperial Landscapes
Michael and his Imperial Landscape crew, Hugo and Zach, did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job for us. I will go into probably way too much detail about the amazing job they did for us below, but here is the gist: We have zero complaints with the job Imperial Landscapes did for us and about a million absolutely glowing things to say. We were so worried about such a big project and spending so much money and cant feel more lucky and thrilled to have found Michael and his crew. Their attention to detail, honesty, hard work, artisanship, craftsmanship, perfectionism and professionalism were outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone. With a project this size, you would expect a large disruption to your home life but our only minor inconvenience was having to park our cars on the street. Michaels years of experience showed as everything was perfectly orchestrated and the end result was the totally transformed backyard of our dreams. So we had a big project. Our backyard was a sloping, jungle of a nightmare. A very old cinderblock wall held up our driveway and house and was starting to fail. It ran the entire width of our house and wrapped around the sides and up the driveway. All this to say, it was a very long and important wall. Beyond the wall was a steeply sloped, weed and scrub-tree mess of a yard. We knew it was going to be a huge undertaking and we were terrified to start and pick the wrong company. We meet with three companies and right away Michael set himself apart. He was upfront and honest about how big a project it was going to be and took an hour plus talking us through what he recommended and why. He warned that he wasnt going to be the cheapest but that he did quality to work and liked to do things the right way. In hindsight, that was probably the understatement of the world. To echo the other reviews here, Michael not only does things the right way, with no corner cutting, but he is a perfectionist who takes pride in his work and doing a good job for others. Hes also one of the nicest, most honest people youll meet and his crew are nice, super hardworking guys. They work on one job at a time, so when they are on your job, you see them every day until its done. In our case, that was four weeks which was right on schedule. They arrived on time and worked their butts off the entire day, every day. I work from home, so I got to witness all this firsthand. Even more impressive was the organization and what looked like effortless timing and choreography of a thousand moving parts. Equipment, blocks, wood, dirt, gravel, etc. arrived as needed, deposited in front of our house and whisked quickly down the driveway into the backyard before I even knew it had arrived. In other words, there was no lag in work time, waiting for something to arrive. It was seamless and super efficient and even my neighbors remarked on how organized it all was. After weeks of what looked like back-breaking work, we ended up with a entirely transformed backyard that we couldnt have imagined before. After tearing down the old wall and getting rid of all the weeds and scrub trees, they brought in tons and tons of dirt and leveled the lower yard. Michael brought in even more dirt than was planned to make sure it was as level as envisioned, at no additional cost. The new wall was built with Keystone Compact and is about 8 feet tall, complete with all the bells and whistles such as drainage, sleeves (for future water and electrical) and geogrids every couple of feet and so many other details. My engineer husband, who is very meticulous, was very pleased. The upper yard was extended out about 3-4 feet and a picket fence was put along the top of the wall to keep our toddler (or anyone else) from falling off the tall wall. Both upper and lower yards were seeded (sod was out of our budget so Michael worked with us on a good alternative). Also, a detail that I loved that Michael recommended was the wall curving up and into the stairs and became the walls of the stairs which looks amazing. They also did a second, shorter wall (about 3 feet tall) that runs halfway across the width of the yard and curves into the bigger wall and stairs. Michael also spent a good amount of time discussing with me and working on an overall plan for our new yard. I ended up with a detailed plan for our big new yard that includes beds, plants, ideas for a future patio and swing and where to best place our compost bins and future playhouse. We did this toward to end of the project, when the grass seed and hay was down, so he took me down there and sprayed painted on the hay where everything could go and really helped me visualize it. His recommendations were all spot on, well thought out and very practical. We now have a plan that we can implement in stages moving forward as budget and time allow. In other words, we never received any pressure at all from Michael to go above our budget quite the opposite. I could go on and on about how pleased we were with Imperial Landscapes. So many details, like how their clean up after the job was amazing and included blowing our driveway and our neighbors screened porch and yard and power washing our driveway. How the only subcontractor they had to bring in was to replace the strip of cement they had to tear out of our driveway where the wall ran along side it. All the endless questions Michael answered. You just cant go wrong with these guys.

Marc called me back the same day I called him to inquire about his services.  He met with me to ascertain what I was looking for.  I had a few ideas, but not many specifics.  He spent time listening and getting to know my likes and dislikes.  From that he came up with some suggestions that were spot on!  Per my request he divided the estimate into three separate projects.   In the end, I decided to have him complete all three and am very happy with the design, the work and professionalism of his crew.
The project was slated to begin on a set date, however, there was a lot of rain for a couple weeks.  Needless to say, the start date was delayed.  Marc called and kept me updated on  the project as the weather dictated.  Communication was excellent.
When the project was completed, he came back and did a final walk through.  He helped me understand what I needed to do to care for all the new plants and trees.   He warranties his products for a year, and promised to be available if I have any questions.   I do not doubt this.
Marc is  a consummate professional, very knowledgeable about landscaping, plants and design.  He is a stickler for things being done correctly and with a smile!   I highly recommend him and his crew.
