    DG Builders LLC
Couldn't have asked for better! The fence is beautiful and better than what I expected! The team worked quietly and efficiently; I barely knew that they were there. I shopped for prices for a few weeks before deciding and their rate was better than local competitors and a major provider. They cleaned up after their work and I'm honestly beyond pleased with the fence they built for me.

I started this project plan with Charlie with nothing but a hand drawn floor plan and a vision.   Charlie put me immediately in touch with an architect who was great.  He refined the details and worked closely with me to get the construction drawings finalized.  The price for Charlie's architect was unbelievable (80% less than any other I had spoke with previously).  Charlie provided me promptly with a simple itemized quote for the whole job (turn key). This quote document became the invoice as the job progressed which I really liked.  As things were completed, $$ exchanged hands, and never was anything invoiced before it was fully complete.
Before I go any further, I want to say that I was a very hands on homeowner and I took on a ton of work, planning, and purchasing myself.  I even contracted some of the work to other people (friends and family mostly).  I think most contractors, and probably even Charlie would love to have customers that don't get involved so heavily, but Charlie was very accommodating and bent over backwards for me on several occasions.  It was a pretty seamless process if I wanted to take on more work or push more work towards Charlie.  The quote/invoice would be modified and we would push forward.
The quality of work is all top notch with zero cut corners.  I used to work in the construction industry so I probably know more than the average homeowner about quality.  If ever I was not happy with anything, Charlie would fix it or change it with no hesitation.  The job took longer than initially planned but I put 90% of that blame on myself.  I took charge of several projects that sort of put Charlie in a holding pattern.   This would probably frustrate most contractors, but like I said before, Charlie was very accommodating.
Charlie has a solid group of guys working for him.  I got to know them very well, and you could not ask for better people working on/in your house.   Honesty and integrity was off the charts.  All the guys were obviously super experienced and have been doing this work a long time which is a huge intangible asset to have.  Many times these guys would have ideas about how to improve things or would give me pointers on how to improve my processes, which in hindsight was super valuable.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Precision Carpentry.  Charlie is as honest as they come, and honesty is a must have trait for your contractor.  If anything was bothering me ,or I ever had any questions, Charlie was just a phone call away.  I can probably count on 1 hand the times that I called Charlie and he didn't answer the phone immediately.  And I called him hundreds of times.   Any construction project is going to have bumps and bruises and unplanned issues (CITY OF GREENVILLE), but Charlie is the guy that will ensure that at the end of the day you're going to be happy and you're going to get quality work for a fair price.

    Upstate Contracting
On the recommendation of a friend in real estate, I hired Upstate Contracting to remodel an approximately 6X9 bathroom.  It was completely gutted, floors, ceiling, dry wall and plumbing. James and his crew had a blank canvas to work with.
The work that was done while not exceptional, it  was acceptable. The crew seems to have a problem remembering plans from one day to the next, Make sure, if you hire them, to have a very detailed plan in place before you start your project.  James's crew required supervision. If he was not present, little work would get done. He promised me before the project began that he would be there every day so the project would get done as quickly as possible.   At one point he went to the beach for a week, his crew seemed to take advantage of this.  Don't expect them to work at all on a Friday, at least not past 12:00.  I still have two patches of dead grass in my yard from the cleaning of paint brushes and grout.
The project dragged on, what should have took 2 weeks at the most, has dragged on for for more than two months, and they never completed the job, Let me repeat, they never completed the job.
I blame myself for this, I paid James the final amount and trusted that he would to finish the job. Don't make this mistake. After trying numerous times to contact him, I had little or no results. I will have to hand it to him, he sure did come up with some really creative excuses.  I really hate being taken advantage of, but I was. I hired a contractor so I wouldn't have to do the work myself and to assure it was done professionally. Now, I have to take time from my work to complete the job. I would NOT recommend Upstate Contracting.

    The Garage Authority
We are very happy with the garage.  Everything has a place now - no more clutter.  Garage Authority was a delight to work with.  Everyone we encountered, from Nancy (sales), to the men who did the work to the owner (who also did a lot of the work) was professional, knowledgeable and courteous.  The garage looks fantastic and is now one of our favorite spaces in our home.

    Bradley Construction LLC
It is a two car measuring 30ft wide and 24 feet deep. Bradley started on it before Thanksgiving. The weather has been terrible and with all the rain there have been many delays. They were in no way Bradley's fault. To get the foundation done needed two days in a row of no rain. That took some time but was completed with good results. The rain continued off and on through January but the garage has been finished. Bradley was very patient through the whole process and did a great job on the construction. I would not hesitate to use them again on another project.

    A.B.W. Construction
We were very impressed with the services provided by A.B.W. Construction. We can't say enough about the great job Andrew did.  He was professional, honest, hard working, meticulous, and the quality of his work was outstanding. More than that, he loves what he does, and was cheerful and willing to work with us on changes to Plan A.   He worked within our budget and gave detailed estimates ahead of time.  The project will end up costing around $12,000, taking a couple weeks to complete.  The total cost including labor was far less than other estimates we had received. We have other major projects waiting, including a kitchen renovation, and it is a relief to know a reliable, likeable, and honest person will be available when we need him.

The overall job went far above the estimate. The grading work was not adequate. Rain water flooded the entire front of the building. Another builder was hired to correct the flooding because Cely Construction did not install proper drain lines. The electrical work was installed incorrectly which had to be corrected by a certified electrician. The garage was left with mud all over the interior metal walls. Cely Construction did not stand behind the work performed. Inexperienced contractors performed most of the work. There were large holes cut in metal garage walls by mistake and left open. Large areas of asphalt is breaking apart because water is standing due to poor grading and improper drainage.
