    Flaker Flooring L.L.C.
Mikes flooring and wood work were good. But the painting was beyond dreadful. I ended up hiring Certa Pro painters to correct the myriad mistakes made by Mikes Inexperienced painters. If you need flooring work, hes your guy. Anything else - no. The painting work cost me an additional $1300, because his workers paid zero attention to detail. And it held up my renovation by more than a month. Ironically, as his workers repainted my kitchen ceiling, they didnt place a drop cloth on the tile that they expertly laid, scratching it. I spent half a day in my knees scraping paint off of my floors.

    George Williamson Floors
George is an experienced pro in floor installation and finishing. He is very straightforward on his quote and services. Very meticulous in matching the floor to existing hardwood in hallway. He is a one man show, doing all the work himself which in my opinion is a plus. The floors came out beautiful and we are very satisfied with his work. I would recommend him to anyone for work like this.

    Steven D Griesinger Contracting
Steve did a great job, & came in significantly cheaper than other quotes. He gave the project more thought than others, & had some excellent suggestions on different options. He was flexible with his schedule to accommodate mine, & finished the work on time. He also communicates frequently during the job. Highly recommend!

    Mr. & Mrs. Fix It
Debbie and Gary are a great value for their price! They are kind and timely, while being extremely efficient. They are upfront about cost and dont try to nickel and dime you. They came in under cost and were very quick. They are adaptable and very willing to work with me when things changed. They are good at keeping in contact and letting you know what they plan to accomplish for the day and anything else that comes up. I will hire them again!

    PRECISION CARPENTRY & PLUMBING LLC
The project went well. We were able to complete the majority of the work within a week and were able to add the installation of a new floor in the master closet before the closet cabinets and shelves went in. I was very happy with how all the work turned out and will recommend Charlie's team ot anyone.

    PRECISION CARPENTRY & PLUMBING LLC
Precision Carpentry and Plumbing has done many large remodeling jobs for me over the past 7 years, and I've always been pleased with the outcome. I called them 2 days ago with this small job - replacing my garbage disposal - and they put me on the schedule the very next day. They said they would be here the first thing in the morning, and they were. They did the installation quickly and cleaned up after the job was done. And the price was reasonable. Precision is my go-to company for all home repairs and remodels. I highly recommend them.

    PRECISION CARPENTRY & PLUMBING LLC
I called Charlie almost a year ago to ask a very vague question about building a tiny home in our back yard versus an addition. He pulled up an image of our house on google maps right then and there and gave me his professional opinion, which ended up matching that of 3 or 4 more professionals who ended up visiting our house in person. So when it came time to expand our kitchen - something we had wanted to do since we moved into the house in September 2016, I called Charlie again. Although he was swamped at the time, his estimate was good, and I trusted his input. Charlie and his crew were all very friendly and accommodating. They came early in the morning and left around 3pm. And since we were staying in the house during the renovation, they always left the work site as tidy as possible so we could use our kitchen throughout the process. We opted to buy and build our own IKEA island, and Charlie's crew did a great job of helping us integrate it seamlessly into the work they were doing. The total cost ended up being about $1500 or 20% more than expected, but part of that was due to add-ons that we decided we needed along the way, and the rest was unforeseen issues. And as usual, things took a little longer than Charlie or we would have liked, but we always felt like we were in the loop with Charlie and his crew and never felt like they dropped the ball through the entire process. We are still toying with the idea of adding on to our house and when the time comes, we certainly hope to work with Charlie again! We ordered an island top separately from Charlie's crew, so that is why we don't have pictures of that yet.

    Steven D Griesinger Contracting
I had a rental property that I was trying to sell. I hired Steve to oversee the contracting of the requested work. He was very upfront on the time line and told he that he had several other jobs that he was working on, but would accommodate as soon as possible and try to get some items knocked off my list between jobs. Steve started about 1 week after I confirmed the work and the quote price. He did a great job of keeping me informed of his timeline, and was very helpful with recommending options, including a couple that really saved me money. Steves prices were very fair for the scope of work that I had requested. I never felt like Steve was pushy or "trying to sell me" on upgrades. The work that Steve and his crew provided was excellent. Likewise, they did a great job cleaning up the work-site. I was able to sell my rental house shortly after Steve completed the work. I would definitely hire him again!

    FloorGurus.com
This was a big project, basically needed to re-do flooring in most of our 2000 sq home. We had gotten a few estimates, but did not have a comfort level with anyone we had dealt with. We met Josh at Home and Garden show, and were immediately impressed with his professionalism and level of experience. He spent a lot of time with us in the showroom to assure that we got the most for our money. Prices were very competitive. The installation crew was equally wonderful. They actually started a day early and finished early as well. Good luck finding that these days. The workers took great care of our furniture and left the house spotless. Anyway, FloorGurus are highly recommended. They make a big project painless!

    BROOKS FLOORING SERVICES INC
The guy from Brooks came out and did measurements. They ordered the materials quickly due to the urgency of the order but the material still arrived late - I think it was only a day. No one that I spoke to at brooks was onsite for the installation. It seemed like it was 3 men the contract for installation. I had ordered LVT that click in. Due to the length there was a lot of pieces scrapped and they did not have enough to complete 2 of the rooms. When the 2nd round of material finally arrived they did install the same day. However they did not clean up after the installation. The floor was coated in heavy dirt, there were marks all over the wall, one corner had a large chip in the dry wall, dust on the baseboards, and the quarter round was chipped. They did come back to replace the quarter round but I went through a full pack of swifter wet mops to clean the floors before I moved in and I had to buy paint to touch up the walls that were damaged/dirty. They did offer to reimburse me if I had professional cleaners but I was closing the next day and didn't have time. This was in late July. Now in October most parts of the floors look good. I like the resilience of the material. However there are about 7 areas with large gaps between the planks on both the short and long ends that show the poor quality of the installation. These gaps are wider than 1/8 inch, very obvious when you look at the floor, you can feel it when you walk over them, and the collect dust/dirt easily. I am extremely unhappy with the way these were installed. It looks poorly done and all of my guests have pointed it out.
