    David Sherbondy MD
I was a patient for over a year and I was very happy with Dr. Sherbondy and the medical services he provided. However, I had a few questions about what I had been billed--I asked if I could have some sort of itemized receipt to understand what I had paid and why. It was a very simple request, but I was flatly ignored for over a month. When I persisted and sent several emails, I was asked to come in to the office to pick up my receipts. When I got there, no receipts had been printed. I waited for over half an hour and received nothing. Since I do not do business with companies whose billing and office management practices are not above board, I removed myself from their care and requested that they mail me my medical records, along with the receipts that I still had never been given. It's now been a month without any response, even an email to acknowledge my issues or explain why they can't or won't provide receipts to their customers. All I've ever gotten were the tiny credit card slips from when I paid--never any summary of services or anything similar. These are shady business practices. They have a gorgeous, well-appointed lobby and tons of staff wandering around the front desk, but apparently do not have the ability to provide clarity to a patient who has very basic, ordinary questions about their care and account.

    Pilch, Dr. John F
Finally -- a good neurologist!  I visited Dr. Pilch in his Greenville, SC, office and was very pleased.  He listens and answers questions from his patients, which my previous neurologist would not do.  He ordered tests and was very open with me.

    Mullen ,Dr. Patrick B.
I will continue to see him and would recommend him to everyone. He has been the best every since I started seeing him. He is much better than any others that I have seen. He has been practicing for 30 years. I feel 100% safe at his office.

    Owens, Dr. Peter L
On one of my visits I asked him to write me a note on what my diagnosis
was. I asked how would you describe my condition. I wanted the note to
give to a Therapist I was to see so she would have some background. To
my surprise he really was speechless. He looked uncomfortable because
even though I've seen him for a few years at that time, he did not know
my condition !! He stumbled with some terms, but could not tell me my
diagnosis. I felt once again that I was just another number. Line up and
get your meds. Also, he'll let you know when you are over your 10 - 15
mins discreetly even though you need more time to express your feelings
concerning a debilitating condition. That's why I'm on Angie's list.
He is unaware of any new meds on the market for my condition. I had to
give him the name of a new anxiety med called Pregabalin. He told me to
come back in 2 weeks while he does research on the med. I came back last
Monday and he forgot what I was there for!! That was it for me. Most of the Psychiatrist that I've learned about are sinply prescription writers. As long as your insurance pays them on time, your in and out in 10 minutes. They receive free meds from Drug companies so he can try there effectiveness on us. If you go to Owens, I'll bet you've got free samples from him on various occasions. Do your homework before you take what they best guess is to treat your condition!!

    Terlitsky, Dr. Walter S.
I've known him for years and years. He has helped my wife and me. He is a good guy. He will pull the information out of us about anything that is bothering us. He will get us to talk about things that we haven't talked about in our whole lives. He is available. We would absolutely see him again. He helped us on and off for years. He helped us communicate with each other and talk. We got married a couple of years ago. He is a professional counselor. He is top notch.

    Boor, Dr. Darwin R.
Dr. Boor checked visual alignment using a polizard wand covering 1 eye, then using a inner office light assembly he tracked the movement and limits of her eye travel.Using a sharp instrument he checked her ability to dectect the object when he touched her facial skin.Speach and limb movements were also evaluated with none outside acceptable limits.

    Owens, Dr. Peter L
Overall, I am quite ecstatic that I finally found a psychiatrist with whom I can work. That whole process of finding a psychiatrist was too long, too complicated and extremely frustrating. Dr. Owens is a very gentle spirit who cares and is someone with whom I feel comfortable and with whom I can work. He listens to what is being said and does not dismiss it.

    Dodenhoff, John R LISW-CP
I think I heard more of his problems than he heard of mine.  He was a nice enough fellow, I just didn't find that I got any benefit from his services.  The staff was great and gave me a birthday card.  They did not keep the office clean enough and there was a lot of dust.  There were times I had to wait 20 minutes into my hour before he would come get me.

    Upstate Psychiatry PA
He diagnosed me with OCD, but that was not the case. He was extremely insistent that, that was the diagnosis. He wanted me to take certain medications which caused me discomfort and I couldn't leave house and things like that. I would not give him high marks at all. I would not recommend them because of the doctors. It's a very large group; secondly because it's not very clean. He did not understand what I was trying to say. He needs to listen to his patients more. I would not use them in the future.
