    Gold told me I need coils plugs and wires to get my 2007 Mercury with 50k miles running great. 33 days and $1,500 later my car ran the same way. Don't ask for more time I said I needed a vehicle I asked for my keys I could barely start it I barely made it to a dealership to trade it in. I was out $1,500 for nothing lost money on a trade in because the check engine light was on and Bill couldn't repair it all Bill really wanted to do was talk about the Bible and not pick up a wrench.

    First off, I will say that my car looks better than what I brought in���. but was it $200 better? Absolutely NOT. My husband got me a gift for the executive detail package. We had a 9:30am appointment and was told it would be ready around 3pm. At 4:30pm we still had not heard from them and called to find out when the car would be finished. They said they still had 30 minutes left to finish it up. I really don���t know what they were doing in those 30 minutes but they were not working on any detailing. We were unimpressed from an initial look through but as I drove back home and got an even closer look, I was really disappointed. There were areas that were not even wiped down that were noticeable just from my driver's seat perspective. The pictures I provide are what I took on my way home. Here���s the thing ��� I pay roughly $30 at a local carwash to have their superior wash all the time. What I got from Executive Detail was no better than what I get for $30 at the local car wash. While the car looks better than it did ��� I expect waaaay more than what I got for $200 - you know like a DETAILED service? Save your money folks and go somewhere else that gets the same job done at a fraction of the price.

    Check engine light evaluation First of all, I have use them on multiple occasions in the past. I had a check engine light and some car trouble's. I had them evaluate my car. Service fee to diagnose was $125 which would not be able to be put towards any repairs. I then decided to get quotes from other mechanics for the same repairs. North Hills was asking 25 to 30% more than the dealer service center! I have never seen a mechanic the charges more than the dealer service center. I went back to speak with associate at NH, he tried to explain why they charged so much more than the dealer let alone other mechanics. I let the associate know that I thought he was taking advantage of me, this upset him and he turned around and walked away and anger. All that being said, in the past they've done decent work. I now just wonder how much they have overcharged me for previous repairs. If you do use them please do your homework and make sure they're not overcharging you

    Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care
    The transmission was rebuilt. A year later the transmission is going out again. Also the same day I picked my car up from being serviced I was heading home and my car started acting up I called Cottman's and they told me to bring it back. I took it back only for them to have to keep my car again for another lengthy amount of time. Now a year and 4 months later my transmission is going out again. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Prices are high and service is not good.

    Always change the thermostat early on when working on a cooling system...the tech explained to me that when they got the radiator off they tested the thermostat and it was locked shut...oh and the radiator was 2 years old not the originals like you led me to believe.

    In the end, the work looks good, it just took a long time. I think they had to go back and get OEM parts after trying aftermarket parts and that took a while. The insurance company may have driven them in this direction.

    They tried to charge $600 for a repair covered under warranty. First, they told us the car wasn���t under warranty. Then, they tried to accuse us of refusing the service at an earlier date. We had to get very upset to get to the service manager, who acknowledged that we were correct. This is the second time in 3 months. The previous false charge was $800. They were not even sorry about either instance. The service advisor remained snotty and rude. Both instances required about 3 hours of our time.

    Steve was super helpful! He found the exact tire we needed at an excellent price and put it on for us! He even gave us some advice on the alignment and told us that if we would like one done at a later time to call up and they will help us! Amazing person and amazing company!!

    The A/C compressor needed to be replaced. It took an extra day to get the parts, but it was finished in roughly 24 hours. The only complaints I had were that the address online (Angie's List) was incorrect, so I had to go to a 2nd location once I discovered this (which also meant my friend had to drive to 2 places, as she was following me) and the shop had a new cash policy that would have saved me 5% if I had known to bring cash or check. This was posted at the cash register, but it was not mentioned when I dropped off the CRV or when I was quoted a price over the phone. It was a new policy and a little effort to promote this would have been nice and saved me $40.00. As it was, it was not convenient to get back home and fetch my check book. The service was good, though and I will hire again when my regular shop is not able to help me.

    Second time using Fisher's Garage - and the always impress! Their turn around time is always very quick. JP and Thomas are very professional to deal with and the price has always been very fair. I will use them again any other time I have issues.
