    Hired Ron Hoyt to repair my refrigerator. He showed up at my home, diagnosed my problem, insisted on collecting prepayment for services and to order parts. Was told he was come back to repair as soon as he had all parts. Kept my money, never showed up again.

    Red's Appliance Repair
    Poorly. Three visits and the freezer still does not work. No refund; no apology. First visit: we were told the freezer needed Freon. That did not resolve the problem. Charge: $325. Second visit: We were told the relay need to be replaced. That did not resolve the problem. Charge: $185. Third visit: we were told by the owner, Red, that the compressor was leaking oil and we should replace the refrigerator. We had an authorized Sub Zero technician check out the freezer. He said the compressor had been over-charged with Freon. The relay installed was an overload relay not approved by Sub Zero. There is no oil leak. We were charged for unnecessary repairs, ripped off, lied to, and now Red won't return repeated phone calls. Based on this experience we recommend not using Red's Appliance Repair.

    Mr Rogers Appliances & Dryer Vent Cleaning
    The technician didn't know how to check unit, but eventually got it to run thru a cycle. He then proclaimed it fixed and charged me $79. When the cycle completed, the problem appeared again. I then called Sears repair, and they discovered the circuit board to be defective. I am attempting to recoup my $79 fee and $29 from Angie's List.

    Came out next AM. Outlet didn't have a ground wire, only 2 hot 2 neutral. So he changed the cord to 3 wire, jumpered the ground to neutral. Just feel like I coulda changed the cord myself for $20. Oh well.

    Very professional technician quickly identified & fixed the problem. The part & service were more expensive than I would have preferred, but it was well worth the money to have a functional, quiet dryer again.

    Justin/Appliance Tech has come out at least 4 times through our home warranty, so I can't speak to their pricing/value. However, I can speak to his professionalism, timeliness, knowledge and thoroughness - which are all fantastic. I will not hesitate to call them again, even when we no longer have the warranty.

    The service person, not realizing I was still in the room, called his home base on SPEAKER phone, as they discussed rudely several things, including my asking him to call Whirlpool tech line while there as this refrig may be irreparable and need to be replaced. I was going to allow that to slide with just a simple comment until the two men continued talking disgustedly about the previous service call where the customer was a "50+ year old woman wearing cut off shorts, cowboy boots, and her a**crack was showing" among other things about these customers. As this seemed to be (from the tone of their conversation) how this man and his main office personnel typically conduct business, by disparaging and talking disgustingly about their paying customers, I did not want to be a part of this and asked this man to leave my home immediately. While I was on the phone reporting this to the manufacturer (Whirlpool) my husband called to speak to the supervisor. This man was giggling, flippant, and said that when my husband (who did not raise his voice during this call) was finished 'ranting' he would tell him what he would do to amend the situation. Basically he said he would reprimand and retrain this service man, however he did not seem to take this seriously at all. I am an educated woman intje service industry myself with a number of friends who also own similar type businesses where we typically are in peoples' homes (hvac, real estate, plumbing, etc) and we all agree that this behavior was beyond unprofessional. I suggest only using this company if you would like to be the brunt of these people's disgusting personal commentary. I have never before written a review but find this company deserving of all the negative ratings possible.

    The guys at My Rogers call themselves Appliance Specialist in appliance repair and I see why.After two other companies and 4 service calls later my my $2300 washer was still not working, that's when Billy B. With Mr. Rogers came out and within 20 min my washer was fixed. To top it all off while I was writing him the check I look up and Billy is cleaning the coils on my refrigerator, he did a lot of homeowners don't think about small things like that and it helps refrigerator to run more efficient after some research I found out that was very true. Promise you that you give the guy that Mr.. Rogers a trap you will not regret it.

    This is the 2nd time we have used Mr Rogers Appliances and the 2nd Billy has giving us Superior Service.Billy took time to talk with us before and after the repairs. He anwsered all our questions and explained to us the process it would take to get our dryer back working like new again. A+++
