    Lowcountry Pediatrics
I have two kids--my daughter will be 4 next month and my son is 22 months. We have been seeing the doctors/nurse at Lowcountry Pediatrics for the past 6 months or so.
We saw a military pediatrician until last fall and tried other providers before choosing Lowcountry as our children's primary care provider.
We have been in a number of times for both kids, who started daycare shortly before we switched to Lowcountry. My kids have had multiple fevers/viruses, ear infections, respiratory infections, and possibly pneumonia. My favorite thing about Lowcountry is that they have excellent availability for sick visits! I have been able to get my kids seen the same day I've called, every time. Well-visit checkups require a bit more time to schedule (about a month out), but that seems typical and reasonable.
I tend to make appointments in the afternoon, so we usually have to wait to be seen. I expect a bit of a wait, thought--it's the end of the day and any delays or long appointments are going to add up by then. Most of the time the wait is no more than about 20 to 30 minutes. Once I had to wait about an hour, but that's not typical.
I've seen Dr. Viradi (whom I love) as well as Dr. Pogue. My husband has seen the nurse practitioner. Their bedside manner, level of caring, willingness to answer all of our questions, and diagnoses/treatments have been excellent. The billing has been smooth and they have promptly provided all the information I need to submit for my Medical FSA. They are easy to get to and the staff that checks us in/out is extremely friendly. The nurses who check vitals are great as well. The office could use a little TLC, but it's my understanding that they will be moving to a newer (nicer?) building later this year (very close to their current location). The toys (availability and condition) for the kids while they wait, both in the office and in the waiting room, could be a bit better as well. But they do a great job with what's most important--the care of my children. Both my husband and I are satisfied our choice to have Lowcountry as our children's primary care provider.

She is great! She even checked up on us after we moved. When my second son went to the hospital, she called the hospital to see how he was and it wasn't like we were a special case, she does it to all of her clients. She is like a mother figure. She really is a special type of doctor. I would recommend her to anyone in the world!

They're great. If you call them, they can see you on the same day. They're great with the kids. They're pretty great all the way around. They're always available, you can always call them.

    Do be on time.
Do not expect office staff to be flexible in any case.
    Long waits.
    No caring from office staff.
