    Lowcountry Basement Systems
At first the designed solution did come close to resolving the problem. LCB saw and acknowledged. LCB manager contacted me to come and investigate the issue. He re-evaluated the design; moving a smartjack which his did come out to execute. The re-design did come close to resolving the issue but started to exceed the max load of the house beam, starting to crush the wood beam. This is a limitation of the house structural design and not of LCB workmanship or smartjack system.

Great customer service and work. Gave me a much better estimate for the project than I received from other companies. Kept me posted on planned start and finish dates and was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had about the project.

    Goose Creek Heating & Air
These guys are top notch. Kiwi and Jason did most of the work, and they were two of the nicest, hardest working young men I've met in a long time. Chaz and Neil were also extremely helpful. We did incur one minor misunderstanding, but it was immediately resolved - I could not have asked for more. I recommend this company and will use them again when it comes time to replace our aging HVAC units.

    Concrete by Design LLC
Wonderful. I was very pleased with the end product. The floor has been in place for well over a month. It proves very easy to clean and is a super moisture barrier. It's also beautiful. The owner, Mr. Brown proved to be both knowledgeable and courteous. I don't know what people are looking for in a garage floor covering, but this epoxy coating is ideal. It doesn't get water trapped under it like interlocking tiles and doesn't wear away like regular flooring paint. It's worth every penny.

    CNT Foundations
I had some water leaking into my house whenever it rained hard, after finding out it wasn't the roof I called them to look at the foundation. He came when he said he would and was pleasant and professional. He told me the foundation was fine it was the siding being loose around the windows. He took the time to show me what I had to have fixed on the siding even tho he didn't have to go out of his way to help me find the problem. It is good to see that kind of honesty in a business.

    Coastal Concrete Construction
    1) Drilling began on time, May 4th, with a five man crew.

    2) Middle of driveway was properly removed and discarded. New drainage system, with proper pitch, was installed.

    3) 100 foot trench, about two-three feet deep, was dug next, from center of driveway, to property line in rear of the house.

    4) Resurfacing (broom sweep) with new concrete was next completed.

    5) Sidewalk entrance to the right of the driveway, was resurfaced. concrete slits were cut in our Curb Crete Concrete, in our flower bed area, for proper drainage.

    6) Complete resurfacing and stain finish added to the front porch area.

Coastal Concrete Construction was extremely efficient, organized and motivated. Tony, the owner, and his crew knew exactly what to do at each step of the way. We were told we could resume normal walking on the driveway by the following day - May 7th - but to let the drain area properly dure (with the newly added concrete), I was advised to spray the entire driveway daily for a one week period and refrain from driving cars onto the new drainage system. By next Tuesday, May 13th, we'll be able to return to normal driveway driving and parking. The new system looked excellent. It was properly pitched, beautifully balanced and a major improvement to our driveway. Note: while Coastal Concrete worked on our driveway, they received no less than four inquiries from neighbors passing by. That speaks volumes for Coastal Concrete Construction, in my book. I'm sure from those four, they received at least two new jobs. In a phrase the quality is there.

    Affordable Concrete Work & Repair
I had fractured my back in 3 places and was unable to check the work thoroughly. This Spring, I went out to do yard work and I saw that they put down slabs of cement and just covered it with dirt. The cement is so bad, that you can't walk on it barefoot. I now have to hire someone else to take care of it.

Backhoe For Hire Moncks Corner Sc
Jerry did everything he said he would do and in a few instances, even a little more.  When it came time to pay, the price was the amount we had agreed upon and not a penny more.  He worked every day, worked long hours, started when he said he would and finished within the time frame we had discussed.  He was always poite and curtious, never talking down to me because I am a woman.   I would recommend Backhow for Hire, Jerry Hall,  to you as a refreshing relief from those bigger companies.

After calling Paul's references, we decided to hire him for the job.  His estimate was for $8,500 without sod and $9,500 with sod and approximately 3 months to complete.  We gave him a deposit up front in March of 2010 to begin work in April 2010.  It started off great: He studied the rainfall and flooding over the course of a couple of weeks.  He had a plan.  He immediately began work taking down our 6 foot privacy fence in order for his equipment to gain access to the back yard.  He excavated approxiamtely 60 cubic yards and scraped the dirt and clay layers off of the property.  After hauling off the topsoil, sandy fill dirt, and clay, Paul left the job for several months.  He said he had other jobs on-going, that it was too hot to work in the summer months, and that he was still studying and surveying the property for a better plan.  Our project was abandoned from May through August 2010.  He came back to work in late August with a plan to run the French drain through our neighbors yard to the lower road behind us.  We followed up with easement permits, but were unsuccessful with getting approval from the neighbors to complete the work.  Paul had no "Plan B" to fall back on.  After numerous requests to grade  the property away from the house and install a sump pump, he finally moved forward with this plan.  He underestimated the timeline of the project by 9 months.  It took a year to complete.  While working on our project he managed to damage our neighbor's driveway, burst the our neighbor's water main, ruin our fence, ruin our neighbor's back yard, and leave us with a sandpit for a back yard.  Paul became extremely irritable when we asked questions about how much longer the job would take.  He constantly asked for more money in order to continue working on the job.  We told him our agreement was to pay the balance when the work was completed.  He was unprofessional and raised his voice on several occasions.  We were already half way through the project and had paid him half of the balance.  We looked into other contractors to finish the job, but no one would take it because it was worse than when the project was originally started.  Finally, his father and another landscaping business friend completed the job without him.
